Rumble
Controls take a little getting used. Also has a bit of mini-game or mobile casual game feel, lacking a little polish. But it’s not as bad as some of the negative reviews suggest. The 3D graphics are OK, if a little glitchy, the campfire is really atmospheric. The co-op mode against the wolves is super addictive! Sometimes the pace feels a little slow and running around picking up things gets tedious. Making the blood stains fade a bit might make it a little more family friendly too. Perhaps one to get on special if you have some friends in the same room to play against with gamepads. For the price there are better similar titles out there, for example Super Snow Fight which has many more power-ups and game modes.

Alright I am a local coop games fiend. I literally watch the coop games search for recent games every day to see if there’s something I really need and I’ve got to say this is something I really needed.
You pick up rocks or spears off the ground and throw them at each other
If you can react fast enough you cna dodge them
if you dodge a rock or spear it can land on a wall behind you and you can throw it at them..
GOD THIS IS FUN

Target Audience: Those looking for a unique shooter with friends to play with
Summary:
Gravity Heroes is one of those games that has an interesting concept on the surface that actually does live up to how you’d want it to play out in terms of gameplay. The ability to move gravity does help a lot here without being overly powerful….as long as you use it correctly and skillfully. You’ll struggle a tiny bit at first as your brain needs a period of time to sorta “reset” how it thinks, but if you adapt, you’ll be matrix dodging and zooming across the map and dealing with the interesting problems put before you in level design and enemy placement. The game is easy to follow and look at for the most part and enemies have clear attack animations and readable tells, even if you end up running into them with the chaos of everything around you.

Scrap Galaxy
The first game from Catalope Games is just as great as it looks.
For starters, it’s absolutely gorgeous.
Fast paced action for 1-4 players as well as lots and lots of fun.
Recommended for anyone who likes party games, geometry wars or just indie games in general.

The camera is the biggest enemy in the game. It does and WILL pull you into asteroids, enemies, and bombs.

Rocket Wars
A frantic action ship shooter with a huge variety of unlocks and visuals. The weapons offer a good assortment of strategy and defense. The ship customization caters to your playstyle by offering different stats depending on how you like to blow others up. Fully able to level up and compete against bots, but as with most games, it’s way more fun with friends. A good choice if you are looking for that old arcadey feel and have a few buds over for game night.

So, I have this cousin who studies in another region of the country, and comes here almost every weekend.
I took the habit of buying local-multiplayers games just to play with him. I was checking the store for discounted local-multi games the other day, and came across this title.
First thing I thought was “Man, this looks cool and fun!” and I immediately bought it.
I can totally say this game is worth its price.

Shutshimi
Alright. This is not a bad game. Music and design are simple but it has its own charm, quite addictive actually. It’s just not “there” yet.
Though, these are the reasons why I do not recommended this game
-
$10? Really?
-
Too repeatative
-
Literally 2 stages. 3 bosses each stages. You see the same enemies, over, and over and over again. Just more in numbers
! After that, you have the thing call Victory Run, which is keep killing same enemies until you die :S
- Again, $10? REALLY?

Shutshimi is a sidescrolling shoot-em-up presented as an endless series of 10-second rounds. What that means is that you are given 10 seconds to shoot and outmaneuver enemies, then another 10 seconds to choose from 1 of 3 randomly selected items.
Some of the items have positive effects, some do not; some last a single round, while others remain until you take damage, or swap them out. Why would you choose an item with a negative effect? Probably because it’s the least terrible of three unfavorable items…or maybe on accident, when you’re in a rush to beat the clock. There are also items that give the player a randomly chosen hat (from a pool of ~45)–some of these hats are purely cosmetic, while others provide a unique ability that helps inject a little variety into the game, mechanically-speaking.

DARIUSBURST Chronicle Saviours
I’m just going to start off by saying I have nothing but praise for this game. With that said I know most STEAM users are going to look at the price point for this and think, “They’ve GOT to be out of their minds!” No they aren’t This game is packed with so much content that I don’t think there’s a single game of its kind that can topple. I’ll even say that you couldn’t even combine 3 or 4 games together to get the amount of content that this game has to offer fans of the genre.
Aesthetically this game brings a simple and clean presentation to the table. The UI for ship combat is clean and simple to understand without too much info bombarding the player while they are struggling to keep their ship from a fiery demise. The 3D models are low in the polygon department, yet beautifully designed. Everything from simple cannon fodder enemies to the enormous bosses look great.

Shmups have always been a part of my gaming career. I was never good at them like all the experts going for high scores and 1CC runs, but I always tried to prove my worth regardless. I also always looked at shmups as a ‘David vs. Goliath’ scenario; a small, one man fighter versus entire fleets and empires. And what better game to start my shmup career on Steam than Dariusburst Chronicle Saviors? Part of Taito’s Darius series and home console / PC version of Dariusburst, there’s a lot of content to go around in this game. After clocking close to 72 hours of play, is the game worth the price tag and separate DLC? Let’s find out.

Jamestown+
Touhou. In Colonial America. In Space.
Probably not the most accurate comparison, but it’s definitely the most convenient. At the very least, the spectacle is very much comparable to Touhou if we’re to go by soundtrack and background art. Anyways, this game was originally released back in 2011 on Steam, became abandonware in 2015 and resurfaced yesterday with a significant portion of content for all skill levels. While the loyalty discount is debatable for people who played the original 2011 release, it’s definitely a welcome treat for people who haven’t played the original.

I don’t have many hours on this one yet, but I have more on the original. This package is great value, especially if you like this genre of game or want games to play couch co-op. It doesn’t have online multiplayer, but playing with people is absolutely not mandatory to enjoy the game. In fact the way lives work in multiplayer means it can be more difficult to complete a level in co-op play than in solo. Unless you and the people you play with are a similar skill level you will probably get a lot more out of single player.

Overdriven Reloaded
This indie game is really fun to play again and again. The gameplay is excellent and responsive, it’s challenging at times but never punishing. Boss encounters are nice too. I’d like to play multiplayer, I’m sure this will be fun as well.
The gameplay combined with a great soundtrack and great graphics makes the game addictive. I would have liked a couple of extra levels in the story mode though. Besides story/arcade modes, extra challenges (color reflex, the line, challenges) are worth playing and I enjoyed completing them. So, replay value is good.

Yes, it’s ultimately positive, but not without a really big caveat. The game has a lot of problems, things that seem pointless, etc. They’re so numerous that I think it’s more worthwhile for me just to say, “Buyer beware,” especially if you want to play co-op. Upon starting the game multiple times, it always thought one of my controllers was two separate controllers; for that reason, I couldn’t use my arcade stick. I had to resort to my gamepad.
In short, expect little from this one, and be prepared to refund it, in case you don’t like it. I only bought it and played through the story mode because (a) it was super cheap, and (b) it’s a shmup. After beating story mode on Nightmare difficulty (which wasn’t as difficult as it sounds), I’m not sure that I’ll ever return for another session; in fact, I doubt that I will… maybe for some achievements, but that’s it.

Jamestown
First off, if you are interested in this game, I recommend getting Jamestown+ instead. It has two more stages and more ships.
Jamestown is a shmup with its stages primarily designed around co-op gameplay. However, enemy HP does scale so that enemies don’t become sponges if played solo. More about solo gameplay on higher difficulties later.
Jamestown doesn’t provide you with a bomb mechanic. Instead it has a hyper-like mechanic called vaunt. It will greatly increase dealt damage and create a shield which absorbs bullets upon activation. The duration of the vaunt can be increased by collecting the golden items. If it runs out, you’ll gain a significant amount of score, especially after a long vaunt. Cancelling the vaunt manually will provide you with brief invincibility and only provide you with a fraction of the score you’d get otherwise.

I want to like this game. Visually, I dig what what I’ve seen. But…
And there’s a lot but…
As far as I’m concerned, in this day and age, it’s unforgivable to release any PC game like this without either a single player versus some sort of A.I. mode OR online multiplayer support for the intended experience. The local co-op-only support found in this game reeks of hobbyist game maker software, rendering the game completely worthless for 99% of the intended gaming audience. Really, who the Hell plays and enjoys local co-op? Anyone? I know four-year-olds who despise it. Unless I’m playing a turn-based retro coin-op like Defender or Pac Man, gimme my own effin' screen: I’m a big boy now wearing big boy pants … so get your grimey mitts off my stuff.
