SENRAN KAGURA Reflexions
Introduction
Senran Kagura: Reflexions is the latest in the “buxom shinobi” series of games to make it to PC, thanks to the great minds at Tamsoft, XSEED, and Marvelous.
I was introduced to the Senran Kagura series out of order, first playing Peach Beach Splash, and I was instantly taken by the risqué, but still somehow pure, nature of the games. I became a fan and have all of the PC releases so far, as well as reasonable number of DLC characters and outfits. Every time I hear of a new SK game port to PC, my heart beats just a little bit faster.

Senran Kagura is a great series with awesome characters, great music, interesting arcs, fast-slashing action and boobage. I’ve said this before, but these girls are awesome and I love this series. This “novel/dating” game, however, is…well… Let’s explore the ups and downs of the game (+, +/-, -, ?):

Super Seducer : How to Talk to Girls
First let me tell you, the concept of the game is great, however I have TONS of issues with the way it is structured. As somebody who worked in the nightlife industry for years and has a lot of experience in this department, I completely Disagree with many of the selections he selects at the best choice. I’ll give one example: In some circumstances he is openly sexually harassing coworkers (by touching them in a work environment). Even playfully that will get you in trouble with HR in NA (the game is set in NA). Also, a lot of the choices just don’t make sense from the aspect of He offers a choice that gives you an option, and if you select the option based on what is written, when he plays through the scenario, he adds all types of completely over the wall things to what is written to make the choice seem outlandish. This is bad design as it’s quite frustrating, since based on the wording he offers in the choice, you would be correct in choosing that WeirdChamp. Again, I can back up what I’m saying with my VODS as I give a lot of dating/relationship advice regularly and have the “history” to prove what I’m saying. Why did I even play this?
Despite my first reaction when I decided to pick this game, it turned out to be the one thing that made me quit and take a breather. When I first heard about Super Seducer, it was around Valentines Day and it looked like a game that was cringey and would just be funny. Little did I expect that this is played seriously. But anyway, Super Seducer is a pick up artist game being advertised as an “educational” with 10 different scenarios to go through with Richard.
Each scenario will require you to pick out the best possible choice that will lead to whatever the goal is, which can be a phone number, sex, or a date. There are obvious answers that go to a wrong response, a kinda good kinda bad response, and then the right response that is followed up by it being used in action then Richard sitting saying why it does/does not work. Depending on the result, you will get a broken heart, half heart and dressed women, or full heart and women in underwear cause obviously “boobs = success” and can’t have a pick up artist unless they have uninterested-looking women in the shot. But there is really no change depending on what you choose as wrong choices will just boot you back and no matter if you do the so-so or correct, they will just act the same. The only difference being if a choice either gets a yes only if you do a perfect run or a no for a so-so run.

Crossroads Inn Anniversary Edition
80 hours into the game. I do have some buyers remorse. After 80 hours it becomes very apparent that the game’s mechanics need redone.
An example of this is by decorating, unlocking, and gathering recipes for Townsfolk or Nobles you make equal or less than you do catering to the distressed, outlaws, travelers. The favor mechanic is another mechanic that needs help. If you have 3 factions unlocked the game will balance all three even if you cater to only 1. Thus you can never raise your favor with 1 group any higher than the average of all the groups unlocked. With 3 unlocked you get 33% for each, with 4 25% with 5 20%.

Still Too Many Bugs - February 2021
I originally wrote this review in May 2020. In February 2021, I thought I’d revisit the game and put in another 20 or so hours on a new Inn in sandbox mode. At first all went well, and I was pleased to see that some of the worst bugs have been sorted. Characters no longer get stuck (well, not that often at any rate, and now you can move them manually).
However, and this I think is particularly damning, although they have resolved some existing bugs, new content has simply introduced new bugs. Bathing is bugged to hell, with characters locking up changing screens and creating a queue of naked customers wanting to use the same changing screen. Although people seem to be pretty good at not getting stuck in walls, my cats got stuck all the time. I had a crowd full of people cheering on a boxing match when no one was actually fighting, and the only person in the ring was an occasional servant come to do a bit of sweeping.

I pretty much think this game is awesome/alright.
It’s awesome as it currently holds a monopoly on this… um… kind of fantasy (as of the time I’m writing this review).
It’s alright ‘cause, yes, (come on now, let’s be honest about the game we’re reviewing here) while it’s sexually appealing to a high degree, (well, with all the DLCs), I’d still like to see more options. More areas to have the girls in during “Situation” mode, as well as more hair designs, and (pardon me for being a bit fetishistic here, but let’s remember the game we’re talking about, lmao) the ability to make the breasts get even bigger. I think this has a lot of potential, and is such a nice, fetishistic/fantasy-based game, which I… well, I enjoy. A lot. lmao

Okay so I have played this game for nine hours total and I must say that it has a lot of high points ans some low points.
High points: I write stories a lot so this helps me create events for some of it mainly my Creepypasta Hunters story. Basiacly this helps me create fanfiction stories especiialy with the 18 plus patch.
another High point is the fact I can create certain characters and make fantasies I have more real. also the fact you can change butt size and breast size.

Adult Toy Store
This is a cheap, poorly translated, Chinese bakery game. Someone has edited the bakery product descriptions into adult toys, slapped on a sexual content tag, and $20 price. The description seemed like a fun idea, the reality is a cash grab scam.

Total scam, avoid! They took some old crappy bakery simulator and re-decorated it. Even left “bread” and “bakery” in some places, were lazy to translate it properly, I guess. Interface is bad and confusing, engine is very outdated. They marked it as “adult” game with “sexual content” and put a high price. There is nothing of it there.

Give slightly foot-fetish-y rub downs to clients in a series of little minigames to make money. Spend it on different massage positions, outfits to wear or outfits for your clients to wear. Sensual!

BUSTED!
Quite fun, very exhilirating!
A lot of people complain that this game doesn’t save your progress until you manually quit, and that leaving the gameplay for any reason will put you back to the start. While those are valid points that do make the game more frustrating, those people have obviously never played reveal-the-picture games before; that stuff is kind of the standard for this style of game…
Also, get an auto-clicker and set it to 10 times per second. The game is a lot more fun to play if you only have to worry about guiding your mouse rather than going half delirious with clicking cramp on top of the jumping at shadows that this game requires you to do. I say 10 times per second because much faster (I tried with 50 times per second) and the game reaches its max projectiles on screen simultaneously and it looks awkward when you’re shooting burst-fire boobies at the blocks.

This game gives us a pretty straightforward explaination why doors have locks. It also teaches us the hardships of living in a surveillance state.
Call it my bad taste if you want, but I just love the idea the game is based on. I only wish that they would make an official 18+ patch that makes the pictures more… ahem… worthy of hiding them from the dad.
It’s comprehensible that they had to make the pictures less kinky, because Steam would not allow the game to be published otherwise. But that’s the reason why such official patches exist in the first place. So that the users can apply them AFTER they have downloaded the game from Steam in order to get the full experience and play the game the way it’s actually intended to be played.

Hot Tub Simulator
As a Twitch Partner, this game is pretty true to the Twitch streaming experience. I was not born with the equipment to be this type of streamer, but this game let me enjoy the “recruit difficulty” version of growing a channel on Twitch. My only real issue with the simulation is that I found one aspect of the game not to be true to the streaming experience. In this game, getting temp banned for nudity actually causes you to lose subscribers, when everyone knows that that your 3 day vacation usually comes with the benefit of an increase in followers and subscribers.

This is one of the best gaming experiences I’ve ever had. If you’re into weird creepy atmospheres that suck you in immediately and don’t let go until you forget who you are, where you are and that you don’t actually have a teeth fetish… well, you’ll love this game. Thoroughly unique little game that puts up an incredibly convincing early-internet experience complete with bulletin board forums, old-school instant messaging and wading through archived chat logs, accompanied by digging in the guts of your computer for clues to a mystery that gets progressively more fucked up the deeper you dig. Thoughtful and satisfying.

Ummm, what the hell was that?! It was messed up, that’s what it was.
Well, I liked the desktop look and being able to figure out pw’s to go through files and I enjoyed reading the chatter chats between bobby & monkey (messed up rpg). But I disliked the way parts of a screen page would move from side to side as I found this extremely annoying. Thought the sweet tooth desktop mini game was weird and lame. The game was way too short but in my case probably for the best lol! The game achievements didn’t unlock either so they may have a glitch bug.
