Leisure Suit Larry - Wet Dreams Dry Twice
Having played LSL7 and LSL1 Reloaded, I really liked Wet Dreams Don’t Dry, I thought it was a good reboot and the developers really managed to get that LSL touch and feeling. Unfortunatelly, this sequel is not as good as the first one in my opinion. The developers incorporated some new things compared to the first one, like a quest log or a blueprints crafting thing…that’s great, but there are some flaws in this game. Some riddles are just too complicated to figure out, or not really fun to play and probably out of place (the maze is not TOO horrible, but still, it’s….a maze, you know). You will tell me that it’s like this in every adventure game, and yes, you’re right, but even for a point’n’click, sometimes it’s just too much. Also, I should say that if you don’t like under-the-belt jokes and stuff, you’ll probably not like this game, but then again, it’s like this since the very first episode of the series so I’m not sure why people are complaining about this. Some songs have been recycled from the first game, same for the characters and voice actors. But the worst thing in this game is the bugs and glitchs, there is a stupid amount of them in the game, even more than the first one at it’s launch. Translation glitchs, display glitchs, characters that goes through the scenery, etc…there are not game-breaking and permastuck (from my experience) but it’s really not great in term of game experience. It took me 20 hours to finish the game for the first time, so yeah, the content and lenght is not the problem. It’s not a bad game, it’s actually pretty good, but something is missing, not sure what exactly it is. I would still recommend it BUT not in it’s current state. Devs, you have a lot of work to do in patching and correcting the freaking bugs and glitchs. And if there was to be any third CrazyBunch LSL game one day, maybe you should change the formula…the playings mecanics, the graphics, the universe, the look of the hero. But it’s already great to have two more LSL games, thanks for that !

I’ve just finished the game (which took me two days) and I must say, overall, I was blown away. It made the first game (WDDD, I mean) look like a tech demo.
There was so much in the way of traditional adventuring to do, an engaging storyline, beautiful artwork and solid authentic dialogue delivery (top notch from the main two as well).
Forewarning us to say no nudity was a bit of a misnomer, from what I could see. A trend that was started in WDDD, there was plenty of comic boobage (things that weren’t boobs but sure as hell looked like them) and even puss. There was also plenty of clothed animation. The guard on the (almost) all-female island certainly springs to mind (and not the only thing that springs at the thought). Then there was the subtle suggestion of triangle trim on the secret agent, the areola exposure and pokies on some of the women.

Just beat the game again, 100% completion this time with a guide and wow, so much nostalgia! I played this game when I was a kid on my grandmothers old windows 95 computer back in the 90’s. This game is still my favorite Leisure Suit Larry game to this day! Just off nostalgia alone! Highly recommend this game to everyone! Lots of pixelated boobs but its fine and the humor is still good, some of it anyway, Have fun with this one guys, its truly an adults only classic!

Ok, I completed this game last night, and man, where the hell was all the sex and nudity from the previous and future games? This and leisure suit larry 2 are the only 2 games in the series that goes out of its way to not show any sex or nudity, but it is heavily implied and the sexual humor is still there, there is some pixelated nudity on paintings on the wall in the beginning of the game, eh. Not good enough. OH and the Patty parts… they are not good, in the 3rd game playing as Patty was awesome and the humor was legit funny even now in 2020, but here in this game its an annoying chore to play as patty. She is sexy as hell but really boring to play as in this game tbh. So overall I cant give this game any less than a 5/10, its just an average point and click adventure with some adult humor and references to previous games throne in. Play it if your a fan of the series, other wise, this and the second game in the series are easily skippable in my opinion.

Leisure Suit Larry 6 - Shape Up Or Slip Out
I freaking love this game. Highly recommend this to all fan and non fans of this franchise, its a great starting point for new players and old players coming back to the series after a long period of time. Its also an awesome return to form for the series as it shows quite a lot of TNA and although Larry doesn’t score with every main girl he does score often enough and even when he doesn’t its pretty funny! An easy 9/10 game! Nearly perfect in every way!

Rating: 8.3/10 This is a classic point and click (well type and arrows, lol) adventure game. It’s refreshing to be able to lay back, stroke a few keys and look for love in one of the few games directed solely towards an adult audience. Al Lowe, the creator of the Leisure Suit Larry series is a juggernaut in the gaming industry. He had wet dreams of creating classic games and worked very, very hard to do just that by creating many of the classic games we still enjoy to this day. He helped shape Sierra Games into one of the biggest gaming companies at the time. Sierra was known for many types of games of course. However it can be argued that without their point and click adventure games they most likely would not have grown to be such a dominating gaming company. Leisure Suit Larry 1: In The Land Of The Lounge Lizards is a prime example of why Sierra and Al Lowe became so successful. The game play is addictive. The humorous writing is literal laugh out loud content. And the game is great for a first time player or someone looking for that nostalgic hit. There is a reason this game went on to spawn a continually growing series; still making new titles to this day. If you have a passion for point and click adventure games then Leisure Suit Larry 1: In The Land Of The Lounge Lizards is one not to be missed. If you have played any of the other Leisure Suit Larry or Larry Laffer (Larry’s spitting image nephew) games then going back to the start where Larry first lost his virginity will not leave you with blue balls!

Due to the age of the game, it may be a little difficult to review. It is an adventure game that primarily uses a text parser for the player to interact with the game. While this may be an unusual way to play a game by today’s standards, it was fairly common in adventure and text games decades ago.

One thing I will say first is that for people looking to see if you need to play the original before this… you don’t necessarily. It has some references here and there, but you by no means need to play the first game in the series.
With that being said, however, just like the first game, it is recommended to use some sort of guide or hints to finish this game, otherwise I can’t really guarantee you’ll enjoy this game very much unless you grew up in the era in which it released. It has very old-fashioned adventure gameplay mechanics that haven’t aged well such as dead ends that make the game unwinnable based on pretty ludicrous things you may have missed… even the official hint guide taunts you with these.

Leisure Suit Larry 7 - Love for Sail
This has easily and quickly become my favorite Leisure Suit Larry game! Its an adults only animated masterpiece! Finally, Larry has sexy in a game that is full of naked woman as it always should of been from the beginning. This game is fully voice acted and animated. Its something everyone should experience once! The humor holds up to this day in 2020 and the art style makes it a timeless classic! Im so glad Larry finally gets laid proper in one of his own games and this being the last true Larry game by Al Lowe both Larry and the game series really goes out with a bang! Both figuratively and literally! I love this game, 10/10! A must own for any and every adult pc gamer!

Desire
I really don’t say this often, but this is just a game that really gets the meaning of being true to your art. Sure, Desire (or Désiré as it was formerly called in its right original French pronunciation) in its core is a classic point&click adventure that follows the life-story of the protagonist through the decades. Puzzles aren’t really that hard, graphics are hand-drawn and really moody in their unique b&w style. So far, so good. But what really makes the game special in my opinion is the no-holds-barred narration. I know that a lot of people complain about this, and you either love or hate it, but in my eyes this just adds to the package. The game is extremely subjective, political and philosophical, and also full of controversial issues (and no kidding, a LOT of them, including sexuality and depictions of nudity). So as a word of warning, if you’re easily offended or can’t stand loads of dialogs, better stay away from this game. But if you accept the general tone of this piece of art, and the creative direction this adventure was targeted at, it can be a helluva ride which gets you to think a lot afterwards about what the number of that donkey cart was that just hit you. Just remember, it’s French ;) But enough said, serious recommendation from me, pretty long, too, so just play it when you want to challenge your mind for a change.

Desire is a pretty awful game; it tries so hard to be deep and philosophical only to come off pretentious and kind of creepy, so what’s the story.
Désiré a young boy born colorblind goes through life trying to find happiness and away to see color and see the beauty of the world.
It’s now time for the likes, well I liked the idea of the game following the life of a young colorblind boy going through life, and the problems he has with being colorblind.
The music was good and I loved the opening animation it reminded me of classic newgrounds videos.
