Antibody
You are the cure.
Sanguon, an otherwordly and newly discovered planet, has found itself the hotbed for a highly infectious alien lifeform. After intercepting a distress call from the surface research colony, you conclude the infection rate will outrun your efforts to contact your fellow humans. It is up to your piloting skills and the peculiar cleansing capabilities of your allied Chonklers to save Sanguon - and indeed the universe - from Viroid assimilation.
Multitask to victory.
Efficiently and continuously reposition your Chonkler companions to impede the rising infection. But stay alert, as your friendly critters are completely defenseless and will need your maneuverability and firepower to keep them safe as increasingly dangerous waves of enemies amass to attack.
Their loss is your gain.
Viroid corruption siphoned by the Chonklers can be converted into power-ups by your ship. Radar improvements? Piercing shot? Do you save up for big upgrades, or do you enjoy a flurry of smaller ones? The choice is yours.
A blast from the past, in the present.
A love letter to shoot ‘em up classics like Gradius, R-Type and Defender. Undeniably gameplay driven and thoroughly indulging in 80’s sci-fi pulp, Antibody is sure to excite arcade enthusiasts.

Bladestar
I got this game because I was in the mood for a good-old-fashioned shooter, but I was tired of all the “retro” pixel or SNES graphics that seem to plague this genre. I understand this is an old-fashioned genre, but I like flashy graphics and I want to have my cake and be able to eat it too!
I am pretty pleased with this game overall. I have an older laptop (still runs with Vista) and this game played very well, there may have been some lag with the bosses, I’m not entirely sure, it was ever-so-slight if it was lag. And the game feels like a pretty solid shooter. Lots of fire on screen, lots of moving targets to hit and avoid, powerups to collect all while the game gets increasingly faster and more difficult.

Ladies and gentlemen allow me to inform you that Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen was not the only interesting title released on my birthday (January 16) this year. Of course it received the majority of the headlines and the water cooler discussion – online as well as off in gaming circles – but Fair Weather Studios’ first entry on Steam is well and truly worthy of your consideration. Unfortunately, for the most part it has been completely and utterly ignored. It’s a real pity. The game does a lot of things right and the majority of those who have played and reviewed it on Steam have walked away leaving positive remarks on the game.

It’s time to get out from the solar system
This is an extremely low quality vertical scrolling arcade shootemup/bullet hell game. The objective is to fight through waves of enemies, perform limited ship upgrades, and eventually escape the solar system.
While the quality here is very low, the developer didn’t use retro pixel graphics, which makes this immediately better than thousands of games on Steam. The game runs properly in fullscreen and even supports 4K graphics, again better than thousands of games on Steam. The downsides, however, are significant. The graphics are of very low quality and bad to look at. The controls are lethargic and the ship moves like a slug. The translation is too terrible to make the story digestible. It’s just not fun. And what’s with the unskippable intro that replays when you die and goes on for an eternity?

Back in 2014 this was not the worst shoot em’ up on steam for under 5$. It it still not the worst shoot em' up on steam in 2020. There is plenty of other shoot em' ups this generation for the same price. This game is lacking content compared to todays shoot em' up and this game is no longer being updated or supported. So if you are looking for e decently fun game for about this price, this is fine but keep looking they is alot more out there.

Sora
Intorduction
I have never been a fan of bullet hell games reason being is that I always can’t keep up with the action that is going on the screen and I usually give up if it is too hard but as for Sora I liked it in fact I loved it and it is quite addictive, because it is manageable for me and I could say I did have a great time playing Sora. Sora tells the story of its namesake: the lone enhanced human, Sora, and her struggle to protect a fading world. Enjoy breathtakingly fast-paced combat in the Suguri universe, with improved game system and graphics along with original trance music by DEKU.

Let’s be honest.
If you’re buying this game, you’re buying it for Sora (Military) and that’s the only reason.
Same with the other games.
But that doesn’t mean it isn’t good in it’s own right.
Out of the games that give you bonus characters i’ve played (AoS 2 hasn’t been released yet, and i don’t care enough about Aru (Scramble) to get her game) this is most certainly the best. The gameplay is more refined and detailed, the story is much more deep than “QP wants pudding back” and it actually makes you feel bad for the characters, even some of the bosses.

Space Hamster in Turmoil
Did you know that the entire universe depends upon hamsters. Without them your world would become a den of stinking evil. Hamsters, as depicted in this game, face constant turmoil…. All in effort to keep you safe. You should be thankful to hamsters everywhere. In fact, if you see them in cages free them, this will give them the chance to find experimental space craft like in this game. Free hamsters=live in safety…makes sense.

Thunder Kid
“Mega Man meets Crash Bandicoot”. Hidden gem is right. This is a fun behind the back shooter platformer that takes you down corridors of baddies. The bad guys are mixed and matched to make each scenario unique and increasingly challenging. The bosses are spectacles and the secret coin in each level is a nice bonus. Highly recommend this game and other Renegade Sector games!

whaaat a game
i really enjoyed the advanced difficult in spite of simple controls. the music was good enough and fit the look and style of the game, the boss fights are truly where this game shines, the platforming is occasionally painful but i very much suggest checking this out. looking forward to trying the sequel after completing this one shortly!

Cosmo Chaser
Very nice little shooter. This takes me back to the arcade days. Everything works smoothly, no complaints here.
Note:
Game was last updated on July 15 2019.

Cosmo Chaser is a bullet hell shooter where the enemies have infinite, long-lasting bullets whereas you have slowing, short-distance bullets. I couldn’t even complete the first step. 3/10

Excubitor
Excubitor is the debut game from Tesseract Interactive and is published by Kasedo Games. For those of you who may not know, Kasedo Games is the digital first division of Kalypso Media who are famous for among other things their fantastic Tropico franchise. Among their other titles are Imperium Romanum Gold Edition, Skydrift, Crookz – The Big Heist and many more. Therefore, before I even had an opportunity to sit down and play the game I had reason to be quietly confident that I would be presented with a potentially great new indie title.
