Gameplay (Short Summary)
Let me start off this review by saying, that the game currently has very little to offer in terms of gameplay if you are not much of a creative person, but if you are, then be prepared to a big grind fest early on in the game until you get the ability to construct auto miners, after that prepare yourself to the next gameplay phase - driving simulator, because resources are scattered across multiple biomes and while driving at max speed from 30-50kmph, it takes a while to get you around the map.

PROJECTIONS
This is an extremely unique and fun game. I’ve been a fan of Wolfgun’s music for many years, and when I saw the trailer, I was dazzled but I shared others' concerns about the game being visually busy or hard to follow. I was proven wrong very quickly and I’m really amazed at how quickly I picked it up and how fun and addicting it is. I think this game has an incredible spirit to it, the story mode is quite interesting and high concept and I find myself pondering the meaning (or meanings) of it weeks later. I’m extremely excited to see what Wolfgun does next and I think this is a remarkable first game and definitely a worthwhile experience.

If you, like me, have never played a hack-and-slash game in your life, you may very likely find Projections a bit difficult and even frustrating at first. Every time you get smacked and your score is halved for it, even though you swear you hit the dodge button just in time to parry that attack from an entity you’re familiar with? If you, like me, get incredibly invested in and perhaps a little overly-competitive over beating your own high scores? It can be a bit disheartening to say the least.

Several months ago, the Lab went black… Communications were lost with the outside worlds.
Residents on-board have no idea what triggered the Lab into stasis that released the dangerous exhibits to roam throughout the cargo-holds to search for sustenance.
Everyone and everything on the Lab has been reduced to utilizing whatever resources they have or can find to survive, not knowing when, or even if, help would arrive.
In the deep of space, you board the seemingly dead ghost ship…
Approaching Infinity
Send help. I put 60 hours into this game in one week. I’ve lost control of my nervous system. I can’t stop thinking about this game. I’m ducking obsessed!
Approaching Infinity is by far the best game in this type of genre that I’ve ever played. What sort of genre? Well, the trading/planet exploration/ship combat/character and ship customization/space sim genre. You’re basically captain of the Enterprise, except the Enterprise comes in a bunch of different flavors.
The game isn’t perfect, but you should know the background of its history before judging. This game is actually years and years old. The developer, Bob, worked under a publisher for a while, but they were run by greedy idiots. They kept actively sabotaging him to make the game worse. It took him years for the game to fall into such a bad state that they finally sold him the rights back for pennies on the dollar. Now that Bob owns the rights, he’s jumped back into fixing the bugs, errors, glitches, and major oversights caused when a publisher is garbage.

Please read this comment if you are hesitating whether to buy this game. Because I remember 1 week ago, I also wasn’t sure about it.
Short Version - Freaking buy it if you like sci fi/exploration/planet and wreck scavenging - just do it! This game is purely amazing, fun and mindblowing!
Long Version
Game is roguelike, with very nicely done balance, it is always challenging, always one step behind you, but at the same time, it gives a lot of satisfaction - infinity idea is amazingly implemented here, everything is scaling. So however long you play, there’s always something new, powerful after next corner.

BFF or Die
A nice cooperative puzzle game.
CRASHES when trying to use Remote Play Together. This is too bad. I really wanted to try it out with some help from my far-flung friends.
The initial levels of the game are different based on the number of players. If you want to teach friends how to play, I recommend playing the first 7, or so, levels in TWO PLAYER mode. The early levels of other modes might fail to teach important aspects (like how to get out of the flashlight booth).
This could be a nice title for some “Games Night” cooperative frustration, err I mean fun.

The game is like a physical puzzle game but with action elements to it. And if you play multiplayer, the extra dimension of needing to figure out what each player needs to do and when to complete the level. It can get crazy hectic and tense, especially when your teammates mess up or something unexpected happens. But it never feels unfair or too punishing. Plus you always get time to plan at the start of each level / puzzle.
My only criticism is some of the menu options don’t work with keyboard, but nothing that stops you playing the game.

Galactic Chef
Galactic Chef is a fast-paced cooking competition show game with procedurally generated ingredients and voxel-based cooking simulation. Your dishes are scored by alien judges on flavor, texture, ambition, technical execution, and the unique requirements of each challenge. Can you make it to the finale and win the ultimate title of Galactic Chef?
Procedurally Generated Content
Each season of Galactic Chef comes with new ingredients, challenges, judge preferences, and NPCs who will generate never-before-seen dishes. Every game is unique if you want it to be, or you can share your RNG seed so you and your friends can play with the same ingredients and challenges.
Dynamic Simulation
Behind the pixel art is a complex voxel-based cooking simulation. The unique properties of each substance determine how voxels react to heat, moisture, damage, and more. Solids can melt, liquids can boil, and you can even sculpt your foods in 3D with the laserboard.
Tastelize Everything
You Tastelizer will tell you everything you need to know, from flavor balance and texture variety to hazards you’ll need to address before serving the food. Just don’t use your actual tongue - we don’t know how many of these ingredients are toxic to humans.
Beat the Clock!
Each challenge lasts 5-10 minutes, so you’ll have to think fast to plan and execute a better dish than your opponents within the time limit.
Unlockable Content
Every season you win will earn you new prizes - new equipment, guest judges, ingredients, kitchen skins, and more. No DLC, no microtransactions.
Ring Miner
Another great lil simulation game from Stolk! The physics are robust and the interface is intuitive. Driving around and digging through asteroids feels good, but at the moment this is mostly just a sandbox to play around in. I’m hoping more missions and things to DO will be added in the future, but even in its current form it’s a good chill-out game for messing around in while listening to some music or a podcast.

Ring miner is a space mining simulator in which you control a lander and a rover. You pilot the lander around a ring of space rocks (around Jupiter), find one that looks suitable (the next one in the ring), land on it, then explore and mine elements in order to collect each one in the periodic table.
This game has complete three dimensional movement, a gravity indicator to help with analyzing landings, the possibility to completely annihilate space rocks, and what is basically an infinite amount of rocks to mine. I have not played anything like this before and I think it’s pretty unique. Check out the gameplay video to see what I mean.

I’ve had some time with this game now and really having a good time. I am having more fun with this than No Man’s Sky, don’t say I said that ha ha. Space games are my thing and what I like is how the game is so randomized. So I played through about 7 games and each one was nothing like the last. In one game I jumped through 8 sectors, yes 8 without finding a single planet! It’s pretty much an open ended experience and you can play it how you want without following some sort of storyline. There is so much to do here in this game I am still learning but I am catching on. It still feels like an early access title especially in some areas but I seen the game has had many updates since it was released. It is a little difficult at times but I like a good challenge anyway. I am hoping to see more of everything in this game as it progresses towards release. I would like to know when they plan on doing a final release. Right now I really like it and was surprised. So do I recommend it, sign says yes!
