Dead Space™ 3
Dead Space 3 was a fun disappointment. Fun as in action. Disappointment as in lack of horror. It tries hard to be both, but can’t be a jack of all trades. As a huge fan of Dead Space 1 and 2, this game isn’t quite as good in single-player compared to its predecessors.
Nevertheless, Dead Space 3 is still a decent installment to the franchise. The cool thing about Dead Space 3 is that you can play co-op with a friend, where you and your partner can create a bunch of fun weapons.
As of now, the game is not worth the full price. If you are thinking of buying, buy just the game and The Awakened DLC at a discounted price. Don’t feed EA, other DLC’s are not needed to enjoy the game.

Like everythingn EA and Origin it launches on the first go around then when you want to play the game again. It opens Origin even when its already open and with you logged in and doesnt launch the game nor does it give you a reason to why it doesnt open. Most likely because it keeps logging you out of Origin in the process of loading but EA being braindead dont really know or care to fix old games but only to take your money and to leave you to dry. Even googling the problem doesnt seem to work because everyone that does that repeats the same shit basics of how other games tend to run or they just try to be the first ones and dont read the issues and give you a fix for a totally different issue. When someone says the game wont fucking launch that means theirs no black screen it just doesnt want to launch. And it sucks leaving a negative feedback on this game because it is fun. But what isnt fun is trying to fix EA and Origin Bs or interacting with their god awful customer support.

I am not a Monster: First Contact
One of the best games I’ve ever played. It is Xcom style tactical turn based strategy game and it is flawless.

Visuals are stunning. Game is made in a way that it looks like as if it was made in the 60s. The graphics use old movie filter, the sound effects are “poor” quality, stereotypical (with game progress you’ll find out that they have much more depth) characters and the whole future concept from 60s movies about distant future. The whole 60s thing is done very well. Amazing.
-
Level design is great and used cleverly. Many times game reuses same levels, but is done so well that those reused environments feel like totally new levels, I mean they are, they have different objectives and stuff, so they are completely new levels, just with same level design. But it is not reused because of lazyness or cheapness, it’s reused because it is needed for story progression. This is really smart design choice, I love it.

Literally, I started the game with no expectations. I knew people liked the multiplayer, but since I wasn’t interested in it, I’ve watched the game with suspicion. Once I learned that there was a single-player mode, I didn’t expect much from it either.
I was sure this was some sort of “alibi mode” to complement the multiplayer and even if it was good, it would be short as most indie game campaigns are.
Oh my God, how wrong I was! The game campaign is simply stunning!
It is very long, it takes 25-30+ hours to finish it. - That is a huge selling point for me!

The Station: Escape Room
I don’t even know where to start, so let’s go with more technical stuff. Controls are bearable, definitely not enjoyable, but bearable. Glitches here and there, as a lot of people noted, the fastest way to escape is to fall through something, because falling into starry sky is more fun than this. You also can’t save your progress so you have to replay it all over again, but don’t worry, most of the time you spend will be on running the infinite corridors and not solving puzzles.
The worst part is that your partner won’t see things the way you do. And if you get to the last puzzle you won’t be able to finish it properly because of that since even if you do complete it, your partner doesn’t and vice versa. Oh well, the ending consists of “The End.” so either of you won’t be missing much.

Puzzles weren’t awful but the game is terrible. Multiplayer doesn’t work, and some of the functionality is too difficult for use. Don’t buy this game. Sorry.

Whisper Trip
I really love this game I can’t wait for the next chapters.
– Real player with 8.1 hrs in game
Whisper Trip is a fast-paced, strategic hack and slash, side scrolling, platformer game with a difficulty spike that comes on too strong in the beginning levels of the game. One thing that should be noted, this game is rough to play on mouse and keyboard. I enjoy the general concept and where the difficulty is trending but combined with wonky controls and physics it makes it a very frustrating experience.
It’s difficult for me to give this a thumbs down, I genuinely enjoyed it and found moments of fun and engaging gameplay and because for some people this may be their cup of tea or might be much more adept out of the gate. I found myself getting stuck on walls or spinning endlessly on top of enemies on a corner and other buggy elements that added to the already frustrating element of gameplay where you can expect to die a lot. Sometimes enemies will randomly fire very fast or not when they have other times. There is also no save menu, so if you start a new game accidentally you will lose all your progress, not ideal if multiple people are playing on the same machine.
