The World After
A short but sweet game. The quality of the film shots is really nice, and the story is well written.
The second half of the game (from after the mansion gate) felt a little too linear, as you can only access one or two screens at a time. If you missed a lore QR-code at some point, you will realise this only in the very last game scene, forcing you to replay the game to get the true ending. A more open approach to the map would have been nice.
The puzzles were simple but consistent with the world, and the day/night mechanic was a great idea. Except for the very last puzzle, the solutions are more or less apparent from the story or available items.

The World After is an FMV game with gameplay similar to Contradiction: Spot the Liar.
A writer has recurring dreams and the answer to their meaning lies somewhere in the French village where he resides. It’s an interesting set-up, and while there isn’t a great deal to the plot, I liked what there is.
Unlike most modern FMV games, there is only one choice in this game to make. It isn’t the sort of game where you make many choices, and from those choices come many variations in the plot. It’s basically a point-and-click adventure game in FMV form, complete with inventory and a small number of characters to interact with.

Ground Zero Texas - Nuclear Edition
I’d already seen the work and vast improvements in picture quality with Screaming Villain’s re-releases of Night Trap and Double Switch, so I was itching to get my hands on Ground Zero Texas! As a fan of this on SegaCD back in the 90’s, it is super fun to re-visit this again and see this game in all its glory, as it was probably intended (and not 64 colours at 12fps). The video and audio is as good as it’s ever going to get, and it feels like the original game thanks to the painstaking programming by Tyler and Screaming Villains.

This classic still remains badass to this day, and while not as popular like the “Command & Conquer” series is, it still remains memorable to those like me that absolutely LOVED it during their childhoods and so forth, and as such I have VERY fond memories of this title, DEFINITELY a solid 10/10, and perhaps well beyond that due to the pure nostalgic vibes I get from this title. The original missions have a very fair feeling to them for the first few missions for both factions, but as you progress through more and more you are REALLY put to the test as you accumulate enough resources to prepare your defenses/counterattack forces, as the enemy can and WILL overwhelm you if you stick with regular defenses. Thus, it is ALWAYS necessary to add a few units capable of driving off the enemy AI’s VERY harsh waves that get MUUUCCH larger as time progresses, and while the enemy AI never drain oil from their derricks, you DO, and as such careful use of resources is needed whenever doing the aforementioned tasks of maintaining your defenses/defensive units whilst preparing your counterattack forces, you have been warned…

Playing God
Didnt work htc vr vive. Waited a long time to see if it would launch over 10 minutes nothing ever happened. I restarted it waited 5 minutes a few times and gave up assumed it didn’t work on first release day.
TECHNICAL PROBLEMS:
1. The start up screen is on PC ONLY NOT THE HTC VIVE so can’t see it at all looks broke to HTC VIVE user like myself – WE DON"T HAVE PC SCREEN every game I launched it FROM INSIDE VR so I had been claiming the GAME was broken for first REVIEW since I waiting for a screen in VR that never would come because you have a PC DISPLAY only question to start in VR… This made me pissed off more than anything with game.

Playing God is a free VR experience, It worked on my HTC Vive system, looked ok, sounded ok, played ok, was understandable. Tried two runs with different decisions, and saw some different endings. One of those No Win Scenario tests. At the end, it gives you a breakdown of your decisions and the percentage of people choosing them.
Try this, if you like thoughtful experiences.

Terra Nova: Strike Force Centauri
Terra Nova: Strike Force Centauri was an immeasurably revolutionary computer game released in 1996.
Terra Nova established the outdoor first person shooter genre with extreme render distances and advanced physics modelling including gravity simulation, water reflections, player movement systems, and weather conditions. Terra Nova also pioneered and perfected squad commanding in an fps environment, with competent, realistic bots. The squad members performed the player’s exact commands, ranging from movement options, tactics, engagement techniques, and special abilities. Terra Nova even pioneered exosuit simulators, inspiring the Tribe series of fps’s. It is a very technical simulation, with the missions requiring strategic planning, in outfitting the squad with weapons, suits, pilots, and, “alternative suit functions.” Alternate Suit Functions, or A.S.F.’s, permitted an operator to perform an ability, including deploying sentry turrets, additional suit shields, demolition explosives, power plants, repair modules, cloaking, and other abilities. On most missions, the player had to rely on the bots to perform tasks for the player, either defending a structure, destroying enemy fortifications, and scouting. The player managed all of these tasks via three multi-function displays, similarly to an aerospace fighter jet. The player had access to a powerful and immersive mapping program, drones, damage outputs, and A.S.F. controls. The player also had access to jump jets. Jump jets were integral to gameplay, allowing for mountains to be scaled with ease and impossible maneuvers to be performed.

18-09-2016: Updated review after second playthrough: added some lines, fixed a few errors.
This review does not go into details of how the game works, nor does it mention everything. It only broadly explains what you can expect when playing it.
So, one would hear about this game, and would at first glance think: Well, this game looks interesting, let’s give it a try, right? It’s made by Looking Glass after all! (sounds a whole lot like me ;)
And then you play it. Holy crap, this game is amazing. Complexity unlike i’ve ever seen before, to the point that I have learned so much to fill a whole game at my second playthrough alone. one of the best soundtracks i’ve ever heard (albeit pretty biased), a story that starts very cheesy but then keeps punching you in the face with plot-twists and the gameplay is nothing short of excellent either.

Dracula VS The Ninja On The Moon
Dodgy bootleg VHS style interactive FMV were you try to fix the tracking on your VCR to see what happens next in this outrageously silly movie about vampires and ninjas on the moon!
– Real player with 4.0 hrs in game
The introduction feels like you’ll be there to see your first born live and die it takes so long. Most importantly though, the game’s main mechanic, the “tracking” is outright broken. Pressing either side does nothing no matter how many times you press, and when a new scene comes it’ll be clear suddenly for no apparent reason.

The Complex
The Complex is by developer’s Wales Interactive, Good Gate Media, Little Jade Productions and filmed in the UK. Also featuring guest acting performance by Twitch streamer and former Xbox UK presenter, Leah Viathan.
This is a story rich adventure FMV game where choices matter. Most playthroughs for each game are roughly about an hour long with one much shorter. Be forewarned: U do have to make quick, tough decisions/judgement calls that matter and alter the progression of the game depending on your choices. The Pause Choices (timer) can be turned off in the Streaming Options. This was mainly for Streamers with audience participation during live streams. I left my timers on.

SUMMARY
London is under siege. A major bio-weapon attack casts a heavy shadow. Two experts in the Nanocell Technology find themselves trapped into a laboratory where assassins have just infiltrated and with time and air running out. Their only option is to take some hard decisions. But soon, those decisions will come back to haunt them. An interactive sci-fi thriller movie where you must ponder each and every decisions. A nice piece to kill some time, it is worth buying if on sale (half the price-tag would be decent).

Wetlands
When I saw this game appear on Steam, a long forgotten memory came back to me! This is actually my very fist video game! I remember when my parents bought me my first PC, this “new game” was delivered with the PC. I didn’t like it because it was too difficult (for a 9 year old). The cutscenes are excellent, beautiful cartoony style, but the gameplay itself is a very bland railshooter … which is fine, I guess … but if you don’t care to play this game (which is a challenge if approached without nostalgia glasses), then just watch the cutscenes on YouTube. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2536351711

Command & Conquer 3: Kane’s Wrath
Command & Conquer 3: Kane’s Wrath.
What a game, really. I’ve loved the CNC and Red Alert series since RA1, what a classic. But this is, sadly, the best, most recent game out of both series (in my opinion).
I haven’t played much of the single player, because WHY? The skirmishes are so fun, there are many different strategies to try out, try different challenges like vs one easy AI and two Hard, capture the easy base early game with minimal resources, e.g. engineer and a few troops, get their tech, have yourself TWO ultimate units, MARV and REDEEMER for example. The unit ranking system is basic but great, very rewarding for looking after your units and keeping them alive through battle trades.

GAMEPLAY:
Kanes Wrath further spices up the C&C3 universe in terms of gameplay by adding a handful of new units as well as multiple sub-factions. These sub-factions also have their own exclusive units and overall play styles; in addition there’s a new game mode known as global conquest to which the player tries to achieve global domination. This game mode includes TBS & RTS gameplay elements .
STORY:
What really sells this game as a MUST PLAY is the story, assuming you’re a Tiberium Universe fanatic.

Iron Sky: Invasion
-Do you know how to drive this thing?
-Well, can’t be any different than playing “Wing Commander”!
~Iron Sky
I totally miss the times when we used to get at least one video game for every major motion picture. It was like… a part of the experience. A way to prolong your experience with the movie you liked. Together with comics and other stuff of the kind. I must say, though, Iron Sky was not the movie to make you expect video game. I mean, sure, it had quite big space battle in it, but the thing is – it wasn’t just a Sci-Fi movie. It was a satire. Pretty toxic one too. And toxic movie about Nazis in space is not something that instantly calls for a game. I mean, back in the days, when even Home Improvement TV show had its own game (insert Tim Allen’s grunt here) - sure. But nowadays, when even the biggest movies often don’t have any video game adaptations? Let’s just say that this game came out as a surprise. Especially since we’re talking a pretty big project here, not just yet another casual s… stuff for mobiles.

I picked this game up in a BundleStar game bundle, and have finished the game before writing this review. I have used a controller for a majority of my playthrough, and have entered this game without watching the movie.
Let me start with the postive-
1 The graphics are subpar to good; they look 2012-2013ish with decent lighting effects.
2 Some of the charachters such as the Indian diplomat are memorable and funny
3 When used with a XBOX360 controller, the game handles itself very well
Here are why I cannot recommend the game-
