SIT DOWN, PLEASE

Game is a 1 out of 10 for the sheer fact it’s broken Video here (once it uploads) w/ time stamps to dialogue outside of the ending you can’t reach and the crashes: https://youtu.be/R_UDuAQKmQE

Disclaimer Unlike the other reviewers so far I actually played the full game (that you can play BEFORE making my review)

The first part of the game has the most redundant mechanic and takes sooooooooo long literally like 5-6 minutes a person to max the juice and you’re literally just managing 2 things. The story is really hard to follow the grammar is a bit off and you’re thrust into the world told A B and C and the story doesn’t really give you enough information about the world to draw you in and feel involved in the plot to be honest. I did enjoy the flashback with the grandpa that was probably the highlight of the game and story. (the story is probably the best part of the game by far). THE WORST PART IS you get all the way to the end and the heart crashes your game. I literally tried so many different ways to beat it the mechanic for even playing the ending is terribly hard because your chain move and your single light up move are on the same key and with the BACK TO BACK TO BACK COMBOS it’s almost impossible to get them without erasing your moves plus the heart heals when you make a mistake, so imagine my surprise when the game crashes after I FINALLY brought him to probably his last phase. Hopefully the crash situation will get fixed for future players. The game would have been a 6 out of 10 if it worked the story was interesting even though it’s not told particularly well told and it tries to do some neat things but the first part of the game drags because of redundancy.

I wasn’t expecting a game like this at first, but it drew me in pretty much immediately. The story is really intriguing and well done, so are the characters and the ending was a nice twist. But the spearhead of this game is the atmosphere, the mood that transmits is really powerful, giving me different emotions, from distress to sadness. In a word: dark.

The only flaw, if you’re looking for a game with fast-paced gameplay, fun and dynamic, this game is not for you. In fact, it’s a bit repetitive, but once you understand that the gameplay is functional to the narrative, a simple device to tell a story, it’s something you can live with easily. In addition, there is also a fast game mode that shortens the timing and does not make you lose anything in terms of plot, a mode that I sincerely recommend to anyone who wants to approach the story giving up a little immersiveness. Basically, a game that you do not see every day and that I fully recommend.

Interesting game and looking forward to the next chapters. One thing that surprised me is that though the date is 300 years in our future, when I stepped into the office I saw stacks of reams of paper, a photocopier that would fit in any of our offices today, desk telephones and fans, etc. I honestly would expect the office equipment to be maybe vaguely recognisable and I would not expect to find a copier and reams of paper. Surely in 300 years there will truly be paperless offices. When I look into the future I expect to see the future. Hell, the original Star Trek did much better than this.

Please read (I don’t want this to come off sassy):

So I have a medium to beefy PC, with a higher end GPU. I also do 3d Modelling, animation, game development, and play a lot of games with the highest graphics settings (currently breezing through The Medium and Tomb Raider SOTTR on the highest settings).

After having installed this game without even beginning to play it, I for the first time, saw artifacting from my GPU with it blowing over the 8GB, meaning that the way this game was made is demanding more than what’s necessary.

SokerPop 2077 is a cyberpunk bounty hunter simulator featuring 8 minutes of content and 7 achievements for an approximate 15 minutes of “judge, jury and executioner”. To pay for your $900 ticket to outer space, you must terminate 3 highly dangerous criminals across the 3 sectors using the highly sophisticated scanner and your trusty charge blaster. As you traves across the vast empty design space, you will need to operate a hovercar that traves much faster once you realize that you need to hold shift for boosters. I would tell you that game has a fantastic concept that had a lot of great ideas, but it would not be SokPop if the game was actually developed beyond the proof of concept.

Very promising conception, neat atmosphere, nice raw aesthetics (reminds me “Bernband” a bit), but still very simplistic.

10-20 mins duration is fine, there is no problem with it, but the saddest thing – every location in the game looks completely same. There are no unique details and nothing interesting at the islands – nothing to explore. The mood and the atmosphere of the game assume this sort of bluesy melancholic vibe and wandering spirit, but the game itself doesn’t support this motivation.

Starts off pretty interesting, then you get annoyed, half the time you’re fighting with the controls and bad camera angles.

Even the menu is a bit hit n miss if the controller navigates the menu correctly or if you even have the ability to navigate the menu’s with the controller, I had to resort to using the keyboard most of the time I wanted to access menu, like when trying to exit.

enjoy 5 minutes of watching someone else give up at the same point I have got to.

SPOILER ALERT***

Where do I start? This game is phenomenal.

The GTX 2080 top of the line graphics card, almost isn’t enough to play this game on Epic settings and that’s a pure testament to how incredible this game is. I would recommend the GTX 3090 for best gaming experience.

If you ever thought MMA was gruesome imagine your fellow extra terrestrials beating the shit out of each other. The most action packed thrilling hand to hand / Foot to head combat SIMULATOR.

First impression: nice music, love the vector like artstyle and obvious attention to detail; I can tell this is someone’s love child. For that alone, a thumbs up from me. Plus it’s an interesting take on Asteroids, for the price of a cup of coffee with which to support a fellow indie developer.

Dark Train

Dark Train

Dark Train is a beautiful, wonderful game. While the developers have termed it “tamagotchi”-style, this description woefully underdescribes the gameplay, which is very much puzzle-oriented. Nominally, one must keep the train supplied with electricity, fire, and water, but there are no dire consequences to allowing any of these to run out: One must simply wait for the required resources to come along, and then once any puzzle at hand has been solved, one is gothily chugging away down the tracks once again. There are a few “secret” areas that can be missed if you aren’t actively trying to find them, but bypassing them won’t impede gameplay.

Another game with an artistic vision but no game design skills.

This is some of the worst gameplay I’ve experienced in a long time.

  • Pixel hunting. Those tiny hit boxes are simply wrong.

  • Poor controls. I’ve been patient with them, because they kind of fit the squid theme, but they are quite wearisome nonetheless.

  • Deplorable visibility. Interesting art, incompetent presentation. The squid camouflaged over the train. Things of interest hidden in backgrounds. Doors tiny (I often get stuck inside rooms.) Now remember the tiny hit boxes.

this game has 2 really annoying parts already in the start that i will reveal here

first of all when u install the game and then press play it says u need to download origin (gameside) and create there a acc ..so u have to again wait like a half hour longer to install origin and create your acc

second of all because first thing u soon have to do is sing with some kind of alien flower… k seems funny but how u do it is just very annoying and kinda taking alot time if u dont have luck or dont know how.. how u do it: u press with the mouse.. for longer but gently ! ..means almost not pressing(just slightly) i tried wth my laptop and extra mouse like more than 1 hour.. until i found out how..

Fe is an Jump N Run Plattformer with unique minimalistic but cute Graphics

You can learn 5 different Voices that you help to control special animals or flowers to get on other Stages

The Story is a bit confusing since no Voices or Subtitles, but with an Suprising End (what reminds me on Jet Force Gemini & Spellforce Order of Dawn

You can find 75 Crystals & 12 Helmets with a few Abilities you can get for a special amount of Crystal. 25-30 Crystals are well hidden and you need to figure out where they are and how you came to them. What sometimes need many thinking around corners or luck because the real way to get it a little bit far away and well hidden (under bear cave on in the Bird Area)
