P.U.R.G.A.T.O.R.Y
Lucifer Awaits, Chump!
Pros:
Highly addictive and I found myself lost in time a bit the 2nd time I was playing it.
The Notes can be super hilarious (If you have a dark sense of humor)
Mod support to add your own characters (added few Horror Villains)
Sprite animations are excellent
Cons:
Wish it had more color
While the background music sounds a bit creepy it can be a bit dull in long play sessions
Repetitive sins (mod support option sorta fixed that for me however)
Bugs:
The game soft locked 2 times when i exited in full screen mode.

A great little game that allows you to hand out judgement on souls! once you work out what you are supposed to be doing but that’s part of the fun.
The game runs well and has a very dark sense of humour, with some LOL comments in the victims bio’s, a lot of thought has obviously gone into this game.
The game uses very little PC resources and I found myself jumping in and out to judge the damned….. I mean souls during coffee breaks, much better than minesweeper!
Overall, at such a low price it is worth having a look at, be careful though, you may get slightly addicted!

CyberTaxi
UPDATED Review 4/10/2021: Wow! This is a ton of fun. I had some prior grievances with some of the choices made with gameplay that were making the game very hard to enjoy for me. I voiced my concerns in my review, and the devs (small, indie dev team) responded very quickly to address some of those concerns. The devs are very receptive to feedback and appreciate hearing from their community, and it seems like they care about their product after seeing the most recent updates.
The gameplay is a lot of fun! It’s a bit of a combo of Crazy Taxi, Quarantine, and Carmageddon with slight influences from other media as well. If you’ve played Quarantine, you’ll notice the inspiration, but trust me, the devs are working hard to make this their own game! You will find yourself driving around a crazy, chaotic, and relatively apocalyptic city with bad guys and pedestrians on the road, turrets, other cabs/vehicles, and more. You are picking up fares, some of which need to go somewhere, others want you to kill someone or blow up a vehicle, and others want you to blow up a building (similar to dropping someone off at a destination, except with more explosions!). There may be more fare types in later districts that I haven’t gotten to yet, but I am satisfied with the fare types that are already in the game.

Cool indie game! Some stuff heavily resembles Quarantine or Road Warrior, but there are some major differences. Even despite the fact that the game has some bugs, the devs update it all time - a lot of stuff was fixed in recent patches.
Pros and cons below.
PROS:
-
positive vibe;
-
unique atmosphere somewhat reminds the old Quarantine classic;
-
nice effects and gore system;
-
excellent music!
-
driving model is not that bad at all,
-
cool weapons!
CONS:
- some missions look bland and could be a bit better;

Different factions and corporations fall and rise, by YOUR choices in this crime-filled neo noire world. You can even finish the game without killing anyone!
THIS IS AN RPG
Define your playstyle by experimenting with a wide variety of weapons, nanotech, biotech, skills and items found throughout the world. DETECTIVE TYCOON
Travel 70 years back in time to the days of noir detectives and lead your own 1-bit detective agency! Solve the most difficult cases. Hire new detectives. Expand your office.
Travel to the noir era!
-
Start from scratch
Your story begins in a small backroom with one detective and one table. Expand your business and hire new agents to solve the most difficult cases. Choose simple and safe cases or take risks for a bigger reward.
-
Decide for yourself what your agency will be
While your detectives are gaining experience on missions, you can improve your agency. Build a break room to give your detectives a place to relax. Build the wiretap room to receive irrefutable evidence or the laboratory to analyze collected clues.
-
Participate in the investigation
Solve cases by guessing and collecting clues! The prosperity of your agency depends on your choice. But the success of the case will depend not only on your deductive abilities but also on the amount of evidence that your detectives collect!
-
Take care of your detectives
Keep track of the needs of your agents. After all, it is impossible to solve a case without a cup of strong black coffee! Make sure all of your detectives get enough of it. Don’t forget about the personal skills of your detectives - may be one of them should inspect the crime scene, and the other should interview the witnesses? Or vice versa? Also, remember to send detectives on vacation and improve their skills. And don’t forget about their salary too!
City of Gangsters
An amazing game overall. I would like a few more features though, such as the ability to export goods to other cities, mansions that you can buy, maps based on Boston, New York, and Philadelphia, and the ability to buy off the mayor or even run for office.

Great management style game. Don’t expect a game with heavy fighting as this is not the focus of the game. It’s really how to max profit. Easy recommend for me.

Empire of Sin
Main quests:
- So far two of the paythroughs I have had have game breaking bugs for the main quests.
Police:
There is not enough interaction with the police, they are basically not even a problem. Give them more power, create tiers of police, where there are cops, investigators, feds, etc. Make it so that if you piss the police of by killing a lot of people you get a heat system.
Economy:
There is apparently a non ending need for alcohol, the game would be more interesting if your bar saw less profits and patronage because your neighboring faction has a better bar, higher quality booze, etc.

Seems like the game has that weird Paradox disease where the game is garbage day one but undergoes radical changes that make it into something really special. I bought it after the precinct update and I’m hooked. I like the combat and gang management elements as well as the almost seamless switching from tactical map to street view to turn based combat. There’s also room for strategy, you can cut off sections of someone’s territory to destroy their supply lines or trade poison disguised as high end alcohol to set some one up for the moment you take out their brewery in an ambush leaving them with nothing to sell and no one to sell it to. I think that it’d be a whole lot better with more room for customization but it’s a solid solid game.

Coffee Noir - Business Detective Game
The idea was good, the delivery is kind of disappointing.
The music and artwork are the strongest points of the production. It looks very pleasant and it’s nice to have in the background.
Gameplay is problematic. Tasks are easy (I played on normal), negotiations not always make sense, but it’s not bad. The worse were the clues, the whole detective system is quite bad. A lot of text and updates that are repetitive. The clues supposed to have the logic in connecting them, but it took me a while to understand, that some clues are going to be obviously connected to stuff that we already knew. I didn’t feel like it’s a challenge, more like a blind guess.

Coffee Noir doesn’t try to be anything more than what it is - a neo noir game with supporting business sim mechanics. No pointless time-wasting side activities to be found here. The story is at the front and center of everything. Moreover, the game’s fully voiced from start to finish, making for a more immersive experience. The game might not have much to offer in terms of replay value. But if you’re willing, you can walk away having learned a thing or two about the art of negotiating.
