鬼谷八荒 Tale of Immortal

鬼谷八荒 Tale of Immortal

I bought this game less than a week ago, now look at my hours. And I have a dayjob. Speaks for itself aint it?

Well if you want details read below:

Tale of Immortal (Gang Bang Guang in Chinese:)) is a great sanbox with persistent story, choices, and endless character build customisation possibilities. Set up in the world of classic Chinese martial arts, you are to go from a useless nobody to leader of one of the sects or more. The world here is alive, and is not centered on your character - it has similar system to what Space Rangers 2 have for example - your character is merely one of the actors, NPC’s are not static, they have dynamic relationships with each other, then clear bosses, missions, factions fight each other and develop and compete with you. Kill each other, too. The game is still in beta, but is already fully playable.

UPDATE: Chaos is the real game, the rest is a tutorial. At Chaos you are forced to juice everything out of the realm (grind and min/max red skills, get the best consumables, buffs from encounters/quests), and the transcendence fights are still challenging enough. Also, disregard the note about permadeath. If you, as me, are not a hardcore player and just like grindy gameplay, then you simply have to adopt and follow the Dao of Alt+F4.

====================================

In general, the game is very addictive. There are always lots of things to do, so it is head to leave it and go tend to other stuff.

Bunny Flush

Our game is an endless platform game.

Your only goal is to get as high as you can and earn the highest score.

Pay attention to the symbol shown to you before the game starts.

Don’t jump onto the platform have that symbol.

It is the hardest of all platform games. It wouldn’t be wrong to say HardSouls.

If you don’t trust your reflexes, stay away from this game.

Because after you start playing the game, you will be defeated dozens of times.

Rise in the Leaderboards!

And don’t look down!

Sketch Tales

Sketch Tales

Sketch Tales is based on a brilliant idea - a sandbox RPG where you can draw, animate and even voice things while in-game.

But you can completely ignore that, if you wish. There’s fun to be had no matter how you approach the game - landscapes designed for exploration, quests to find and perform, structures to build, beasts to kill and loot to hunt.

I spent my first hour just wandering around in confusion with a goofy grin. I was chased by enemies who muttered daft things at me or played the harmonica. I laughed as I killed something whose body span comically down the hill. I picked up a quest from an NPC who then randomly wandered off to fight a ninja. The whole thing is a living, breathing cartoon that oozes charm.

Hi Everyone!! I just wanted to give my “Very Brief” Opinion on the ‘Sketch Tales’ Game (Great Name) lol… For Only $1.00US This Game is the Definition of a Steal!! Remember just because a Steam Game didn’t Sell Many Copies.. Doesn’t Mean the Game is Bad… It’s the Opposite in Fact when it comes to Sketch Tales because this Game is Absolutely Fantastic!! I love Creating my own Cartoony Playable Characters and Exploring the Dark Worlds that this Game Offers and I can’t leave out the Creepy Sound Effects when it comes to the Creepy Creatures that Wonder the Worlds in this Game!! The Game has a Oddly Charming Feel to it… I think it has something to do with the Ability to Draw and Design your Very Own Playable Character and the Ability to Animate It as Well!! So…!! Please just check out the Trailers and see what you think!! It’s All Good Bro… Thanks for Reading!!

Fish & Bubbles

Fish & Bubbles

It’s my very own fish tank… without the smell! 3

The game starts out slow, feeding your first fish enough to get you your second. Once you get your second fish though, things start to get faster and faster because you’re able to produce more money quicker! The fundamentals of this game are fun and addicting.

My favorite thing about this game is that I can leave it anywhere on any of my monitors while working on my own stuff. It sorta feels like a fish tank widget with a lot of features (and it looks like there’s a lot more to come!). Although I haven’t purchased everything in the shop, I’m excited to be able to decorate my tank with even more items that are in the works!

Very laid back game. Relaxing play and rewarding. Wish more games would go back to these simple mechanisms.

Levelhead

Levelhead

Whether you love designing levels or just love platformers in general this game is an instant buy! With a robust level editor, a system to get your level played, tight platforming, and endless content, this is the best Maker game ever made!

I originally purchased this game to help pass the time until Mario Maker 2, but was so amazed by the level editor I never left. From creating traditional platforming levels, to complex machines, the editor has almost unlimited potential. The editor is easy to learn, but extremely deep and robust to the allow for creating even the most complex contraptions.

Levelhead is the best level maker experience on the market.

Gameplay

Some describe it as a precision platformer, but it does not have to be. Even running around the most basic levels is enjoyable because the controls, character animations and sound design are spot on.

The main distinguishing gameplay feature is the grab/throw mechanic, which adds a ton of depth to the platforming and sets it apart from established franchises. The array of carry items can be used for platforming, puzzles, combat or even currency.

Mud and Blood

Mud and Blood

I love the Mud And Blood saga.

I’ve been a fan for 15 years of the games and the concept behind, which is kept in its Steam version.

It’s a one man army of a game which provides you with a strict and unforgiving challenge.

The game requires you to be alert and actively playing, focusing on each decision and movement in order to avoid certain defeat. This causes the player to descend in a trance, in which you need to be at 100% of your playing capabilities.

The game “fuses” MnB2 and MnB3 togheter, and are now being called classic and campaign.

Real player with 333.1 hrs in game

As a tester for this game, there’s a reason why I have played this many hours of this game. I’m not the kind of guy who’s a masochist, especially as someone who can remember plenty of times raging at this game. Some moments will be easy and some moments will be randomly challenging. But for new players, especially those unfamiliar with the older Mud and Blood flash games, you will get screwed really hard in the first few or even several hours until you learn. However despite all those moments, I still come back and play this game again and again because its difficulty is what makes winning rewarding, and its randomness is what makes the game replayable. I’ve lost lots of men to standard rifleman, and other times I managed to beat back a element of infantry backed by armored vehicles.

Nebuchadnezzar

Nebuchadnezzar

While inspired by the classic Impressions city building games, it would be inaccurate to say Nebuchadnezzar is just a reskin of Pharaoh. The game has its own mechanics that are distinctive such as the beautifully worded caravanserai or the planned market/bazaar walking routes (as opposed to the annoying random wandering of sellers in the Impressions games that required the use of roadblocks). There are a ton of resources in the game and the tiered housing levels have an interesting intertwined dependence on how these resources can be collected.

Real player with 62.0 hrs in game

Probably the closest any game has come to recapturing the old Impressions City builders (Pharaoh, Zeus, Emperor, Caesar etc).

This type of city-builder game focuses very heavily on production and distribution of goods to supply your population, where a mistake in logistics management can cause the whole city to come crashing down. If you’re expecting something more like a SimCity or Cities: Skylines, you might end up frustrated with the strong presence of logistics management aspects and harsh penalties for making mistakes in that department.
