Horribunnies

_Hewwo, I’m Pâquerette! ⊂(◉‿◉✿)つ

I will be your guide in Horribunnies, teaching you how to take the UTMOST care of your bunnies so they’ll all be super happy (and you too!) :3

Our bunnies need to be fed, groomed, petted, and cleaned D-A-I-L-Y, but most importantly… they need to be loved! (灬♥ω♥灬)

I will be watching you practice on my own bun-bun, Moko, before I leave you in charge of the store’s hutches – no pressure, I swear! :p_

Add to your wishlist now to stay updated on these buns' development!

  • Bond with the cutest virtual bunnies you’ve ever seen. They come in all shapes and sizes but require the same amount of petting!

  • Get food, equipment, and cosmetics for your buns so they’ll be as happy as bunnily possible!!

  • Everything is as flashy and sweet as it gets, from lovely graphics to sugary music… You’re guaranteed to melt with joy!

_Hoy, Ophéline here (⌐□_□)

There are lots of other things you can do to make your bunnies as profitable “as bunnily possible”… (¬‿¬ )_

  • Put up some of your bunnies for adoption so you can focus more on your favorites.

  • Traits are inherited genetically, so breed responsibly! You don’t want cheap-looking bunnies, do you?

  • Genetically engineer your bunnies to boost their value: If you figure out how their genes work, you can land a killer bun!

  • Take an alternative approach: My methods may not be to Pâquerette’s taste, but if you stick with me, we will definitely change this pet shop.

Lucifer Within Us

Lucifer Within Us

Normally I operate a £1/hr to determine if a game is worth playing, and I’ll admit that I was worried about “Lucifer Within Us” when many were seeing short play times in the demo. However, I had enjoyed the demo so much that I gave it a chance knowing that it was very doubtful the game would be very long.

Having completely finished the game with all achievements, I feel the game was worth it.

The story is very well written and pulls you in with the voice acting adding that touch of atmosphere to convey the character emotions perfectly, particularly during confessions. My personal favourite was the second investigation where, despite having worked out what was going on, I was still shocked by the outcome and confession. The little touches with the voice acting delivery and graphic choices were key to creating that atmosphere. Well done!

I’ll start with the good things. This game has an interesting style and setting. The color pallet doesn’t hurt the eye and the graphics are passable if you don’t scroll too close. A strange mix of high-tech and theology would make an interesting setting for a bigger game. The mysteries themselves are pretty good and may take some time to solve on the first playthrough.

But the problem is, you will only play it once. Now, to the bad stuff.

1. The game doesn’t allow you to lose. You can’t accuse the wrong person, you can’t frustrate the suspects to the point of angry unresponsiveness. In fact, you are encouraged to do so, based on achievements. The absence of failure allows you to just play dumb and spam every possible combination of clues and statements until it clicks, making the whole detective part meaningless. Even when performing the exorcism, you are safe. Wrong daemon name? Well, just try another one!

Space Colony: Steam Edition

I really like this game. It has been described as The Sims in Space. I have never liked The Sims games as I find that they are far too repetitive and boring. Space Colony is a good building game, The Sims element is that you do have to be aware of the needs of your operatives to improve production. This does give an extra twist to the game that you have to think about and some of the challenges are based around ensuring that your crew are reletively happy or they won’t work.

Any Building Sim worth it’s salt should have an element of ensuring that you are providing basic things, such as food, so I don’t find this particularly strange, as some have mentioned. Making sure your crew does not go mad while on an abandoned planet does give the game an additional challenge.

well i dont know what to say, i really want to like this game but its more about mini managing all of the peoples quirks than it is about building a colony. the maps are very small so building is limited even in sandbox mode. there are numerous objects on maps that cannot be removed (maybe by bombs in free mode ?) forcing you to make odd looking and crappy base layouts in most cases.

alot of the quests are just kind of gimmicky, in a previous scenario you will unlock items for the quest, yet the very next quest acts like you never used them before just to make certain quests “seem” harder. although there is an option to download user made content so thats a plus.

AREAZ

It may be in early development but i think this game has a lot of great possibilities. Interested to see what they do with it. So far I have really enjoyed it.

Only played a short time so far. I recommend this game to people who appreciate a little bit of realism. Some complain how you only have an inventory of 10 items, I reckon that’s great, finally a game where you have to choose what you need to have, to complete the tasks required to survive. Excellent game in my book, I look forward to spending many hours playing it, 9/10 in my opinion. I hope the developer doesn’t create an enormous character inventory to please a few. THIS IS THE SURVIVAL GAME I’VE BEEN WAITING FOR. My 1st review was at 44 minutes, as promised, I will be playing this game for hours to come, I absolutely love it.

Arid

Arid

Arid is a completely free student project created by potential graduates of the Breda University of Applied Sciences located in the Netherlands. There they cater to international students offering both bachelor and masters degrees in both media and game technology. Priding their expertise in the Houdini Engine for Unity among other things. Their focus is on creating AAA games and some students manage to progress even further eventually working for companies such as Ubisoft and Guerrilla.

Arid is a ‘unrealistic’ desert survival game. I say unrealistic because you literally starve, drink and need shut eye constantly even on the easiest of settings. The survival reminders are relentless and before long you’ll be praying that the game give you at least a moment’s rest so that you can gather yourself.

Real player with 32.2 hrs in game

For a free game, Arid is really good, in my opinion. It has some bugs here and there and could use some polish in some areas, but so do lots of games. I had it crash a couple of times, both times connected to saving, but it turned out the save had worked anyway so it was alright.

Overall, without having ever been to the Atacama (and bearing in mind it’s been enhanced for video game purposes), it felt properly punishing. I’ve wished other games that featured large desert areas had something like the sun exposure mechanic; on the hardest difficulty in this, when there’s no UI element to tell you what your exposure is, the sun is very scary. You end up reapplying clay obsessively, and scuttling from one shaded area to another, and doing a lot of your work at night. I also enjoyed the mechanic of finding dirty water and having to filter it. Other games have similar things, but this felt very natural, part of the daily tasks.

Cargo! The Quest for Gravity

Cargo! The Quest for Gravity

This game is ludicrously fun and quirky. Absolutely nothing in this game is resemblance of logic and common sense and the game is sure to make you laugh all through the ending credits due to sheer nonsensical characters and environments being infused. It’s certainly a much less complex game in terms of mechanics and is no where near as difficult to complete, except for few glitches I have noticed here and there that is the only thing I didn’t like. You control a female protagonist while the central theme and everything , even for you to progress in the game revolves around Buddies ! Buddies were designed to be replacements for Humans after the world was remade. They’re the small, naked men that run around the islands. Buddies are the only known source of FUN and you’ll be using them to accumulate that important substance. A group of three buddies playing musical instruments will greet you shortly after you begin the game. Known collectively as ‘The Band’, they give you some guidance throughout the game along with occasionally bizarre pieces of insight. By walking up behind a Buddy, you can give them a swift kick to the backside. Contrary to what you might think, the Buddies actually love it! Kicking them will send them flying and produce small quantities of FUN. If you kick Buddies too many times, they’ll start floating up into the sky and explode! Luckily, they’re not dead. By throwing bits of debris into the Sinkhole, new Buddies will be born from the volcano. You can also bring items from earth’s stratosphere to make dear gravity centered all across your sandbox in which you are playing game from absolutely nowhere out of skies such as Iceberg, Ship, Big Ben, Skyscraper, UFO, Statue of Liberty, Train, Earth Axis, Collider, Comet. You’ll enjoy Cargo much more if you just relax and have a good time. There’s no time constraints, enemies, or anything else stressful to worry about. Experiment with vehicles, try new things, enjoy it, and have FUN!

Cargo is great! It’s a very quirky and funny physics builder/driving game, by the makers of Pathologic.

If you feel like building a car, a submarine, a hot air balloon, an helicopter and driving it around to your own music (or the game’s pretty cool OST) as the game world around you feels more and more like a fever dream, Cargo is probably for you!

Works flawlessy without the slightest adjustment on Win10 in 2021 which is notable for a 10 year old game.

If you are familiar with Ice Pick Lodge, you should know most of their games have been designed starting from the idea that “games don’t have to be fun to be good”. This leads to the birth of Pathologic 1 & 2, one of the most important creative works in the video game medium.

Kitchen Simulator 2015

Kitchen Simulator 2015

the entire game looks like those terrible 90’s compressed cgi full motion video things that play before you begin a game.

there are no options, period.

so the music is way too quiet, turning it up leads to excruciating beeps and boops that i guess serve as a notification. none of my actions made any noise.

graphics as i mentioned, are just awful. no options there either. chugs like a chungus. made in UNREAL engine.

Upon launch, you are greeted with a dreadful menu that has three things to click on. PLAY, TUTORIAL, QUIT. Even worse, they have those three things repeated right next to their english counterparts, now in russian. One of the worst UIs i have ever seen.

Night of the Dead

Night of the Dead

Night of the Dead is a great “Tower Defense” game. Yes it has “Open World Survival Craft” but you need to understand this is a “Tower Defense” game first.

So I played this game when it first came out and I really liked it. It had a good foundation to build upon. Yes it was a bit buggy in spots. I finished the story then set the game aside for a while.

I have now returned to the game after the big Electric Update (Dev #5).

I have to say I am blown away by what was added and changed in this game for the good.

Real player with 345.6 hrs in game

First of all, let me start off by admitting that I am absolutely a soft touch when it comes to indie games. I’ll forgive them for things I’d never accept from a AAA design studio, and with good reason. It takes so much guts to be an indie designer, to go out there with nothing but passion and a dream and make something that other people are happy to spend hours of their life playing.

Night of the Dead is very much a work in progress, and it doesn’t pretend to be otherwise. But, every masterpiece has to start off with a rough draft to begin with before you can polish it up. And that’s what we’re lucky enough to have the opportunity to play here: A diamond in the rough.
