Last Room

Last Room

This game has great potential and I liked the puzzles but there are still lots of problems.

First of all the UI is weird and settings are incomplete, you can’t even change you sensitivity.

Some times it’s hard to figure out what each pad does, it would be better to have the camera zoom to the function of the pad the first time we activate it.

And to top it off there are lots of bugs you can’t interact with some objects some times and some things like the key would just disappear sometimes.

The game is not finished yet so I know these issues are gonna be fixed in the near future, I suggest you buy the game and wait until it’s done because it’s very fun it you look past it’s problems.

Level-based puzzler that involves figuring out how to exit each room. This is accomplished primarily with pressure plates and directing light beams. Initially, you start in a dark dungeon and then move outdoors. In the second ‘block’ of levels, a bounce element is added that allows you to hop over walls, moving objects from area to area. I’ve only played a little over an hour but enjoyed figuring out the mechanics of each escape.

Atmosphere is good, the sound track supports an immersive experience, and the controls are easy (although picking up an object requires exact cursor placement).

Rogues Adventure

Rogues Adventure

Rogues Adventure (Tiny Adventure?) is one of literally thousands of 2D retro pixel platformers infesting Steam. This one has you jumping around maze-like 2D puzzle levels collecting coins etc. The usual.

They chose to use obsolete retro pixel “art” as a substitute for contemporary PC graphics. It’s unclear if this is due to lack of budget or talent, regardless, the overall visual quality of the game is extremely low as a result. Resolution and controls are locked. These flaws push this game far below minimum acceptable standards for PC.

A typical representative of runner gaming, but with its own features, namely the first-person view, we are in the skin of a rabbit, and the most fun thing is that you don’t get tired of what is happening on the screen, when I last tried to play runner on the phone, I had enough for a maximum of 30 minutes…

Leaper

Leaper

Classic 2d arcade. Leapen is short and easy game with pixel graphics and 8bit music. There are 8 levels that are almost the same. This game trains your reaction, but there are other games that do it better.

A cool game to pass the time. I remembered Geometry dash in terms of the fact that only jumps can be controlled. The game is made in a pixel style, you need to collect all the apples for the door to the next level to appear. There are even very amusing levels in which you need to catch good timing. Quite good

Pretty cool parody puzzle, very similar to Pac-Man. The game is very interesting, has a good graphic design and pleasant musical accompaniment.

Flying Soldiers

Flying Soldiers

Do you like war games? We offer you something new. Discover our unique and funny squad of bird soldiers. They are at your command. Become the best strategist and lead them to victory. Enjoy this entertaining avian conflict!

Not everything is as it seems in this fun game, because these “flying soldiers” can hardly glide a few inches and they don’t exactly have the abilities to go into battle. So, it’s no surprise that, with squads made up of these “characters”, they wouldn’t be able to get themselves out of the mess they’re in. Their only hope lies in your tactical skills to help them advance.

Initially my review was negative because of my uncertainty regarding letter collection and RNG.

But I return to offer an update.

Movement precision, memory, powerups, pressure!

Make sure to use WASD and ARROW KEYS together to go faster.

Happy the dev listens.

Shipwreck Escape

Shipwreck Escape

So I wrote a review around half way through the game. Im new to reviews and wanted to edit mine now that I finished the game.

The game itself is fun. Some levels feel super easy and come to you right away while other levels take some time and “trial and error” before you understand what needs to be done. There are multiple endings so if you want to at the end you can go through again just to unlock these different endings. For me it took about 9 hours to complete but being a puzzle game, some probably could do it much quicker!

Shipwreck Escape:

What would be the perfect job? Well, a position where you can make good money without working too hard, meet people who have a purse or a wallet overflowing with $100 notes or an uncapped credit card and to top it off, travel the world. It's your lucky day! Your application for a croupier on the luxury ship, the Antaraxia, has been accepted! And your first cruise is from Athens to Dubai! Everything was running as smoothly as the last few days, until . . . You woke up with a pounding headache, blood running off your face, torn clothes and covered with debris, three decks below the casino level where you were working! You quickly realised by smelling smoke and hearing the water that something went terribly wrong on the Antaraxia! The only way out is up! Good luck in Shipwreck Escape.

## Slime Story

Edit: Jump mechanic has been fixed.

My not full play through here showing an absolutely annoying (possibly unintended mechanic in the game time stamp breaking it down and showing it at 1:03:05:

https://youtu.be/SxJJiDEal4c

I like the game the music is nice and the stages for the most part are difficult but fair (For the most part) there's a good bit of gotcha moments/patience check combos as you get farther in the game, but it's not a ridiculous amount. What made me quit this game though is the fact the blob absolutely will not jump if he doesn't have the full platform underneath him. This reinforces terrible platforming mechanics in a platformer to make longer jumps you want to get as close to the edge as possible before jumping. The Slime will do a half jump to absolutely no jump if you're even a little bit hanging off the edge this is EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING especially at the part (time stamp starts here: 32:14) with the wall where you have to go up and the moving platforms are timed at the same speed so by the time your jumping to the other side the platform is already halfway from underneath slime resulting in a half jump. I wanted to beat the game, but I A. don't have the patience for that continuously B. Don't want to get used to not being as close to the edge as possible to beat this game. I also don't like when games have achievements for ridiculous amounts of deaths either that's just a personal preference though as I feel like that shouldn't be something required to 100% a game I'd rather the developer put something in game vs making that an achievement. Definitely worth the price, but the developer should really fix that jump mechanic. Another thing I thought of is when you hold the space key he consta jumps as well which isn't the biggest deal, but would be nice if one space bar press ='d 1 jump, but that again may just be a personal preference/minor complaint compared to the half jump/no jump.
