Geometry May. I swear it’s a nice free game
Geometry May is a nice prequel to Maytroid where May only begins her adventure.
Gameplay is great as always - for a runner game you actually have a lot of freedom in controls allowing for some cinematic combat moments. The game isn’t that difficult aside from couple extra stages after finishing the main campaign.
The meat of the story in this game lies in Journal. You can unlock May’s diary using points you collected (you can also spend them to unlock ecchi pictures (and there is a patch for them)). Diary describes how May got from an awkward teenager arguing with her father to where she is now - fighting some Lovecraftian monsters in other realms (some parts are still a mystery as there is a big gap between the date on the last diary note and the start of the game). I would call this game “May’s Origin”.

PixelGreeds is one of those indie devs I can’t help but admire. Their work isn’t anything that redefines genres. But their work is filled with an irrepressibly earnest energy. Whatever mechanic they’ve figured out, PixelGreeds cannot wait to apply that knowledge into the very best game they can make. As such, their work is always evolving and improving with each subsequent release, and that’s really all I expect from a game designer honing the craft. Geometry May is a solid run n' gun title precisely because it does not muddle itself by trying to be anything more.

Go Away My Fat
it’s a cute sideway scrolling running game where u try to keep within ur weight and eat as healthy as possible so you can avoid gaining weight. The premise is interesting, art+characters are cute.
However the requirements for acquiring the other characters is too high for little reward, so basically no incentives to unlock them other than purely aesthetic reasons. Unlocking characters with higher unlocking rate (100, 300, 500 hearts, and 100 fruits=1 heart) SHOULD come with incentives, like better gameplay advantages. I like the game, but it’s very difficult and daunting to unlock all characters with such little reward.

While by no means perfect, this game at least adds some new mechanics to the obscure anime runner genre. I think it’s enjoyable and well worth the $1.99 price tag

Montaro
Montaro is the best game i have ever played
The concept of the game is very realistic. These struggles are what doges go through on a daily basis. This game raises important awareness for those poor doggos who have it hard.
I can’t remember exactly when I bought Montaro, but it was the best decision I ever made. I saw the adorable shiba as the mascot, and saw it was only $0.99 and decided to try it out. I got all of the achevements within about three days of hardcore gameplay and passion. I’ve now got this game for at least eight of my friends so that they could enjoy it too.

This game is plagued with: utterly repetitive scenarios, unresponsive controls, no control at jump height, broken hitboxes, options with nothing but sound volume, etc, etc.
The whole game seems rushed, to drain a well known meme, as much as them can.
Don’t get me wrong, I really wanted to like my Montaro, but I just love him.
Even if we know all errors someone have, the true love will remain intact. We’re unable to understand love, there’s plenty of beauty inside it. You know, even if I spoke the language of angels, without love I would be nothing.

Run or Die
This is on the cautious side of positive, as I don’t really think the game is great (the endless runner portion by itself would probably get a negative review from me) but I do like it in concept and there is a lot to like here. 4 of the 5 skills feel pretty good and polish, as do the overall controls. The level design focused around these skills is pretty good too, especially in the challenges, most of which provide a very precision-platformer kind of gameplay, not going on too long and never really asking for too high a level of precision, while also providing the optional challenge of collecting for ranks.

TL;DR – This game should be called Buy or Die. Why? Because even at full price it costs less than a junk food menu.

As a non-casual player of the genre, Run or Die caught my attention very fast, and I was sure I’d grab it when it had any sort of discount.
The game is basically what you see in the trailer: a RNG side-scroller where your main character has multiple skills to help her avoid obstacles and trying to reach the ending (is there really an end, actually? :P).

Alpacapaca Dash
Alpacapaca Dash is an endless runner with shooting elements.
The levels are randomly generated, so you will most likely never face the same level combination twice. With the coins you can collect in the Levels, you’re able to unlock a variety of different outfits for your Alpaca. One of my personal favorites is the “Sailermoon-Alpaca”
What I really like about the art style of the game is that the world is all black and white, and you bring it to life with your Alpaca while running. Has a really nice feeling to it, to see the world change colors while playing.

Montaro RE
With over 550 hours of playing Montaro, I consider myself an epicurean of the doge jumping genre but unlike this review, the devs are actually listening and fixing things up. Woo Hoo.
1. The banana rolling time seems random sometimes even cumulative. (Original was completely predictable).
[Edit: cumulative bananas still appear to be cumulative.]
2. Pantsu can ONLY be gathered on the up jump. Can’t be gathered from a banana up jump but can be gathered if you up jump on a warning kate. (Original gathered up, down and on a banana jump with well timed click).

Not as good as the original. Yes, it’s a lot prettier and has more variety in location– but the incentive to collect pantsu is virtually nonexistent. There is no pantsu bar, and the motivation to keep going doesn’t really seem to have been implemented.
Where’s the difficulty? Where’s the heart?
What purpose does Montaro have if not to rush through Japanese streets and look cute while taking upskirt peeks?
There’s also no steam icons or cards to collect, which I find to be weird, since the original had them.

The game is designed for 9:16 portrait, if you’re running landscape you’ll get black boxes on the sides, meh it doesn’t really matter, the game play is all there but for best results rotate your monitor and set your display settings to portrait mode.

The game is playable with mouse and keyboard. In addition there is xbox controller support for the main platform levels.

The main characters will run automatically. You control the other moves such as jump, double jump etc.

The game starts off easy, but trust me, it does get harder!

There are 25 Steam achievements to collect in addition to 36 in-game achievements!

This is the PC port. The mobile version has ads and a one time unlock fee whereas the PC version has an extra life mini-game, no ads and no unlock fee.

Panic Diet!!
The game is really fun to play as the constant obstacles ensure a unique run every time. The graphics are great and the controls are easy to understand. Lastly the background is done very well, with it feeling like an actual block or two that you are running in. If this is your first game it is done very well.
My only dislike is the rapid ramp in difficulty, as by the time I run close to being 80 kg is when suddenly I can’t break through as the randomness of the obstacles begin to make it difficult to even go through without sustaining weight gain. Maybe by either making the difficult based on weight (lower weight=higher difficulty) or to make a group of obstacle paths that has the player have a path to avoid the most of the weight gain. I will still try to accommodate the difficulty but it may take be a good hour or so to see any other progression.

And endless runner where you are a chubby lady in a bunny bikini out to shed some kilos. Avoid candy, eat the healthy carrots for energy and be careful of the pink poops… Super cute graphics
