Empires Mod
Best FPS game I have played. Dynamic gameplay, huge player limit and skilled community make up for a constant hail of bullets and neverending fun as a simple soldier, who needs to teamwork if he wants to live another minute. The strategic aspect is not my favourite (I’m really bad at strategy games) but gives you a lot of fun too when your forces listen to you and you guide them to victory.
Devs are close to the people, the community is loving albeit harsh at times, the more professional part of the community is like a big family (there is hate but they still love each other).

Earthbreakers
Earthbreakers is a team-based PvP multiplayer game which combines the most enjoyable elements of FPS and RTS! You and your team battle for territory and harvest rare resources, while building and customizing your team’s base. Choose an infantry combat class, defend your base and supply lines, construct and pilot powerful military vehicles, and ultimately annihilate the enemy’s HQ!
Earthbreakers uses a team purchase system to build an RTS-style base. Each building unlocks new infantry classes, vehicles or upgrades depending on the structure built. Do you build a factory to unlock new, more powerful vehicles, or do you build walls to aid in base defense? The choice is yours! Bases consist of six primary buildings, wall defenses and a selection of defensive turrets.
The resource, Vilothyte, is the lifeblood of a base; you use it to purchase new structures, higher ranking infantry classes and vehicles. Resources are collected by a harvester and returned to a refinery. Protect those harvesters to ensure success!
The world of Earthbreakers is a harsh place that requires guts…and a big gun! Multiple infantry classes are available, each with their own strengths and weaknesses. Higher ranking classes must be (just like an RTS) unlocked by building one or more structures. Play as a Soldier to fight on the front lines! Play as a Technician to repair vehicles and keep your fellow teammates alive! Or play as a Firefly to burn enemies from a distance!
A good soldier can be even better when driving a tank. Multiple vehicles add the firepower needed to destroy base structures. Drive the Pulse Tank to destroy enemy harvesters and turrets! Use the Atlas APC to get your troops to the battlefield unscathed. Or pilot the Tiamat Artillery system and lay waste from a distance!
Earthbreakers race to collect Vilothyte wherever it is exposed! The game locations will be varied and present new obstacles. Each map will include two full base layouts, capturable locations, natural hazards, sniping positions and unique elements that can help or hinder your battle plans.
The Story
The year was 2045. In a time of global unrest, riots and civil war, scientists discover a new form of matter, Vilothyte, that can be used both to create any element or used directly as a power source. Considered a cure for the Earth’s resource crisis, a system of satellites was placed in orbit which would scan for the materials needed to create the material and fire conversion bombs. Designated the “Earthbreaker Project”, It was said to be safe and would never target populated or endangered areas.
The first test was highly successful, creating enough Vilothyte to power the eastern seaboard of the USA for a week. The system was placed into full operation. It seemed the world was saved…until the hacker group Devolve removed the safeguards!
It is now 2060. The Earthbreaker system has slowed, but the orbital bombardment never completely stops. Most of the countries of the Earth have devolved into groups of city-states. Each sends out Earthbreaker teams to collect material whenever a bomb strike occurs. Combat over the bomb craters is fierce and never ending!

Cascading Failure
A solid RTS/FPS hybrid that forces you to consider the environment when tackling any objective. The variety of assets you have will have you toying with various strategies in the game like occupying buildings that oversee an entrance to an objective, or setting up a defensive line of turrets, or even hunkering down with a massive heavy walker. You also have a bit of a tech tree that you unlock with points you earn in the game, most of it being weapons that you can equip to certain soldiers or bring in yourself.

TLDR: A really unique combination of a FPS and RTS. The game currently offers two different game modes: A horde mode (“Wave Defense”) and a skirmish mode (“Assault”) on several maps (Single player or co-op online up to 4, PvE only). As well as a training course with a shooting range to try all the different weapons out which can be unlocked for the main game modes by playing them. Overall the game feels quite polished in comparison to what I have witnessed with other early access game on release. It is nicely playable and offers definitely enough fun hours to be worth the reasonable price it’s asking. I can especially recommend the Assault mode in Co-Op :)

Explanation upfront:
This game is hard to judge, it has a lot of ups and downs, but I think the thumbs up is a little bigger, so I gave it a recommendation. But please read the Review, and maybe look for a lower price.**

Hybridising genres excites me. Taking even the basic gameplay loops of two long-established genres and mashing them up can at least make something somewhat interesting – at least for a little while. Disintegration treads this long neglected (and possibly a little treacherous) path by incorporating RTS-style unit management into a (somewhat) fast-paced first-person.
Set in the distant (but not too distant) future, Disintegration is about a world where humans can choose to have their grey matter ‘integrated’ into a robot armature, allowing a temporary new life as inorganic robo-beings - Only it’s not all sunshine and rainbows, as it appears a group of integrated/robotic deadshits known as the Rayonne have decided that full-scale robotification should be essential and irreversible across the entire human race, squarely working to stomp out any pockets of resistance (Human and Integrated alike).

Poop Plague in Fairyland
Fairyland has been cursed with a terrible poop plague. Poop crystals need to be removed. They turn dead to poop. Fortunately healing mushrooms grow out of poop.
You will be sent in a ghost form. Enemies can not see or attack you. Scout the area with help of a little fairy to plan your attack. Guide your units to enemies and then send your Dwarf to remove crystals. Use crystal shards to attack enemies. They will come looking for you. Use shards to take them out one by one. Use the terrain to your advantage but watch out for areas, that have no exit. Enjoy 20 various units with melee, ranged and area attacks.
Once you reach the walled city in the final level, you still can keep on playing and improving forever on two leader boards:
-
One leader board is for total team health after you completed the levels.
-
Another leader board is for time needed to complete levels.

Executive Assault
Before starting, Im giving a disclaimer. THIS GAME PROBABLY WONT BE UPDATED MUCH ANYMORE. There wont be more content coming. What you buy is what you get. There isnt DLC’s. And Im not 100% you get my golden rule of 1 hour for 1 dollar of playtime for this game. Now I’m gonna do nothing the negative reviews ive seen say, but explain why there isnt more content. There is a 1 man dev team and hes coming out with the sequel set in SPACE GET HYPE. Look up exec assault two and he has frequent updates and photos and gifs from what hes working on. And he gets a Sh*t ton of respect from me from being a solo dev.

This has the potential to be an awesome game. What you can play of it is rather enjoyable. As far as alpha’s go, it’s great. But the developer seems to think it’s full release. And is working on Executive Assault 2. So, I don’t forsee a significant amount of development happening on this, especially considering the patch release history prior to working on EA2.
That said, I will probably purchase EA2. From what I read it’s a single individual who makes the full game, which makes this kind of an incredible project, and if that game gets more developed than this, I’ll very likely recommend it.

Battlezone: Combat Commander
As the lead artist on this project and life long lover of Battlezone 2 (The first real 3d game i played) I wouldn’t have worked on it as hard as I have if i wasn’t going to recommend it, which of course I do.
I worked as faithfully as i could to restore and enhance the battlezone 2 i played and loved, despite initial criticism, much work has commenced to further enhance the battlezone: combat commander experience visually, I knew I had to step the bar up as one of the key elements of BZCC was it’s beautiful graphics and rich, unique worlds in which the war for biometal was raged back in 1999.

I served as a tester for this game, so I’m going to be as impartial as possible.
I enjoy the game overall, but there were some items removed that I wish weren’t.
There is also plenty room for improvement.
In case someone doesn’t care to read through the bullet points.
For under $20, I would recommend the game.
The following isn’t a comprehensive list, but is a list of items that I could think of at this moment.
Things I liked
- Shadows have been fixed when compared to 1.3 and older versions of Battlezone II. Shadows never looked correct.

Disintegration Technical Beta
I like it, it’s worth a try and for a beta, it almost feels like it outdid its self.
pros:
the graphics are nice and somewhat level, assets don’t feel rushed and cheap
didn’t find any glitches even tho I tried
the gameplay is interesting a definite team game it’s interactive and engaging
I didn’t feel I had a problem going around the map it feels smooth
there is replayability to it, it wasn’t so repetitive to be boring
cons:
the assets in map feel like they have bigger hitbox i crash and get stuck way too often i feel like there is a lot of places i can fly over but there is an invisible wall maybe lower the height of flying

This is a great game, however it suffers from similar criticism that the game Sanctum faced; people fail to realize that it isn’t just an FPS, but rather an objective based RTS FPS. Similarly to Sanctum, some people focus on the FPS aspects of the game, rather than their tower defense aspect, just as people ignore the RTS aspect of this game. Another issue is that people are comparing this game to Destiny, Halo, and Titanfall, which is entirely wrong as the game functions nothing alike.

Guardians VR
If Halo Starshiptroopers and Starcraft had wild night this is what would come of it 9 months later.
You can play it with different play styles. Full on trooper mode. or oversee the battle as a commander and assist as need. or if you tactics are good enough no assist. There is a challenge to complete on the harder difficulties so tactics are important. Co op allows you to ensure that all your friends can start doing their part. PVP(max 4 people) allows you to show off you tactics and challenge your friends. or make some new one as you get hit by a deflected scorpion bomb.

Man I really love this game. I have been playing it for a few months now since it has been in open beta and the game has changed so much and lots of content was added in those months. I am hopeful for the future of the game and can’t wait for more. This game is also on quest standalone which is where I mostly play. For sure one of the best VR games in this genre, and most of the most unique experiences you can have.
