Night Rogue
This was a pretty unique and interesting short game. I have to say that I don’t really like stealth games, but there is something about this game… I liked it so very much. So you sneak around as a Thief/Rogue and break into places and steal loot. You gotta think as a thief too, as at times the front door is locked. The music is perfect for night stealth activities!
So the game isn’t overly challenging (phew!), but it is satisfying. You also don’t have to kill anyone too. I like the idea of a peaceful thief. There is also an older man, a Fence and their relationship works out, showing the truth of how it actually is supposed to be. Oh and Thomas looks pretty good too, so kudos. I like the sprite design. :D

Ladra
In Ladra you play as the thief Estella, who’s main goal is to relieve noblemen and women of their burden of wealth, and occasionally dabble in information gathering.
When a friend of a friend hears an unsettling rumor, Estella, the best thief in the city is hired to look into it. After eavesdropping and uncovering vital information of an unsettling plot, you must do everything you can to prevent a war from ever happening.
Coming into this I had pretty low expectations, I don’t typically enjoy RPG maker games but I was pretty happy with this one. The stealth mechanics were pretty neat and I enjoyed the plot more than I thought I would. The music was pretty standard.

Ladra is a good stealth game, where you have to be careful, make no mistake even one step!
The game was created with RPG Maker, with gameplay really very solid and innovative!
In short, a really interesting game is “different” which is worth a try!

Ninja Stealth 2
Shitty game with poor controls and where combat is just here to waste your time: it’s always the same without any progression, enemies respawn as soon as you leave a room and return to it, and drop the exact amount of healing needed to survive a fight with them. You gain “EXP” but you never level up, you can’t escape fight but you see the option (always greyed-out). Looks like the author used RPG Maker and didn’t even bother to remove/hide the elements he didn’t use.

Of the ninja Stealth series I enjoyed this one the most! Let me just say I like the RPG maker engine (all 3 use it but this doesn’t chage it a ton). This feels like a short and sweet RPGame! I liked that a lot! Not too cryptic… I didn’t need a walkthrough… I enjoyed it… It was… Dare I say… Fun!
Here are three things I will say to save fellow players some time withut spoiling anytning… Know your binary codes for number up to 10 and check BOTH the trunks and drivers sides of the cars in the parked car room! There are 2 cracked walls… One for each findable charater. One cannot go through both… the game is not broken… Stop trying :) If someone had just told me that my complete time would be at least an hour less!

The game is suppose to be good, but the section where all the Shikigami is has a massive problem.
I do not know if it’s because of a bug or if I’m stupid, but it’s impossible to kill every ninja (assuming yokai exterminators) because one of them is behind one of the shikigami that you cannot kill.
The basic premise of this game is that it’s a reverse horror puzzle game. If you miss one step in a level and go to the next level and find out you must of missed something, you either load up a save fail to where you were before the mess up or start all over.

It has so far been a fun and challenging 2D pixel art survival horror game. Would recommend.

Red Gate
UPDATE:
September 7, 2020:
With the recent updates, I see a lot decent effort put into continued development and it seems that quite a bit of feedback has been taken into consideration and implemented.
I definitely look forward to what this game has to bring, though despite the polish, it’s still a bit rough. I’d like to have the option of faster dialog boxes and possibly a way to skip the tutorial as well.
I’m also not a huge fan of the music at the very beginning, but some of the other songs are great.

Recently I played “Drop” another project from this developer, that for me was one of the worst things I remember to play in a while. And when I saw “Red Gate” I think to myself it cannot be worse, lets have a look…
And indeed it was not so bad as the other, but it was not good enough comparing to other games of the genre.
Soon I start to playing the game I notice that my controller was not supported and that I did not know what keys to use. Later I find out that the keys are mentioned on the game description here on the STEAM page, silly me, they were on the most common place to put that information: outside the game.
