DON’T SUPPORT THIS SCUMMY PUBLISHER!

…that being said, I cannot find it in me to not recommend it. This is simply the best RPG maker game I have played so far.

The story and characters are what makes this game so good. It is pretty long considering this type of games, but it’s lot of variety and interesting developments to keep you playing. The biggest issue is the localisation done by the infamous SakuraGame/Paradise Project. They machine translate every game they publish and thus decrease enjoyment significantly. Some text is even left untranslated which makes things even worse. True disservice to the developer (one person made it!).

When Steam started carrying cheap adult games, I picked up whole bunch of ‘em and I didn’t get to play this until last month. And wow… This game was amazing. As others have mentioned, this game has rich, involving story and I was really hooked. Translation is bad, so I had to decode what they’re saying inside of my head, but there was some really interesting story underneath it. What really surprised me though, is that while the story can get often tragic and morbid, there were also some really humorous moments that I geniunely found hilarious. And the fact that the developer was able to convey all this with a really old RPG Maker engine shows real talent. I hope this guy makes more games in the future.

The game is great, but i do have some complaints;

First off, the ice world part did not run well, now to be honest i do use a laptop that is technically a “lesser machine”, but that is the only area i had trouble running everything else was fine.

Secondly, when you first get the boat, those water monsters will just destroy you if you aren’t careful or grind like crazy before hand in my opinion.

Thirdly, it was not clear that i could go into a certain late game area which might be my fault, but to me it gave no indication that i could open the wall and enter.

An RPG maker title telling a story of an aspiring knight Rose and saving the world cliche. Despite it being released by the H-GAME don’t expect more than ecchi here.

Rose starts her adventure in a standard RPG village where she was born. She embarks on a standard RPG world travelling tour during which she encounters 3 other female companions and some sketchy characters that dare to defy your op team. Story lacks originality, suspense, plot twists etc. Characters and enemies alike lack backstories and are pretty black and white in terms of morality. Bad guys are bad because they’re bad, don’t questions their evilness. There are no story choices and there is only one ending but length wise it is pretty good.

Very nice short game. Awesome character artworks and lots of fanservice (nothing hardcore though). The story and dialogues are also very well done. My only complaints are its a bit too short and need more towns and NPC (because the naked comments are so fun to read lol). Can’t wait for the next game from this developer.

Fun and cute but with many flaws, barely gets a positive. Needing to follow the game-guide closely or else you will miss many quests and items makes gameplay tedious. The “punchball” event can crash if you re-arrange your team. RPG-maker games are low-effort as is, so I expect a bit better.

*I edited this review from negative to positive after finding a way around the puncbowl bugs, and noticing my son likes the cute animations in this game lol *

Treasure Hunter Claire

Treasure Hunter Claire

I had the honor of beta testing this little jewel so take that into account when reading this review.

Now then, for the second title of Kagura gaming, it’s definitly an good title if you have no illusions what you’re gonna buy. If you come looking for a complicated combat system combined with an orginal story then you best turn around and look elsewhere.

Credit where credit is due, however, as “Treasure Hunter Claire” does offer a basic combat system with a few interesting things related to the H-aspect of this as you can use naughty moves against your enemies. So it’s a bit more extensive than your typical nukige but as expected don’t think the enemies will put up much of a fight since it’s very easy to become overpowered. The plus side of this is that you don’t need to concern yourself with overly grinding or anything of the sort as you can simply relax and let Claire do the heavy lifting on your path from H-scene to H-scene.

One of the biggest H-RPG available on Steam.

Positive Points:

  • 80+ quests with good varieties and doesn’t feels repetitive, if that’s not enough there are also 20+ events, some of them are repeatable to grind money. You can expect at least 10 hours of gameplay.

  • Very light-hearted story, filled with comedy. No dramatic conflict, no breaking point.

  • Multiple endings based on your stats.

  • New Game+, with the true ending can only be unlocked after you finish the first run, so you can experience the powersIut version of Claire in first run and the pure version of Claire on second run.

! you have to be pure if you want to get the true ending

Dark Elf

Dark Elf

Dark Elf is an erotic RPG game where you have to lose if you want to get to the naughty parts.

It is not a complex game and the horrible translation doesn’t help getting prospective players engaged with the story (and sometimes with the sex scenes themselves).

That said, as my playtime shows (taking away 10 hours or so as I forgot the game was running in the background), I enjoyed it alot.

As I said, the game isn’t complex nor is it hard, making fights quick and thus making leveling up easy, forcing the player to consciously go out of his/her way to lose on purpose to corrupt the heroine. Personally this is why I liked this game a lot, coupled with the multiple endings the game offers and how subsequent playthroughs after the first give you a new ability to quickly lose fights, making it even easier to get to the interesting stuff.

Real player with 42.8 hrs in game

Dark elf is an erotic rpg with an incredibly deep story, great action economy, and fantastically crafted dungeons. Unfortunately, nobody gives half a damn about any of that, because this game is so full of flaws that those three big positives just get tossed to the wayside.

The first big problem with the game is its translation. I almost quit playing ten minutes in due to how terrible the translation is. It would be bad enough for a game to mess up a few words in the characters’ dialogue, but this game insists on inserting onomatopoeias everywhere. If I have to see the words “poo poopoo pooooo” describing anything one more fricking time for any action at all, someone is going to get hurt.

Elise the Devil

Elise the Devil

ELISE THE DEVIL {ETD} is a JRPG involving Elise’s, the Female Protagonist, adventure questing through multiple maps, occasional dungeons, and turn-based Battle modes. At the time of this review, ETD is on sale for a mere $0.59 US { a 70% discount }. The game play is decent in a typical JRPG / RPG Maker style. The Female characters are Voice-Acted in Japanese … Nobody wants to hear the guys anyway :steammocking:.

Choices do make a difference and there are multiple endings or “GAME OVERs”. There are plenty of slots for Saves, SO make frequent use of them. There is a tableau of Graphic Images to fill-in by reaching certain game points. Most Guides are in Japanese { or perhaps Chinese ? - not sure } or in a poor, Google-translated, English {?}.

https://www.sinicalanimenetwork.com/post/elise-the-devil-review

Elise the Devil is prolific Japanese adult game developer Dieselmine’s sixth release in Steam and the third title that has been localized and published by SakuraGame (later renamed to Paradise Project). The story focused on an archdevil Iblis. A party of heroes led by Sean fought against Iblis to restore peace to the entire world. Iblis was left for dead, but the archdevil returned as a cute young girl, renamed herself Elise and embarked on a quest to become stronger and exact revenge on the humans for turning her into a weak young girl who was a pale shadow of her former self.

Ever wanted to play a sexy Link to the Past game w/ monstergirls and anime girls? Well, here you go. I was actually pleasantly surprised by this game - I was expecting a generic jrpg but it’s a straight up top down action clone of LttP. Actually pretty fun to play - I was initially interested just by the art style but the lttp gameplay works well for it, and exploring the world is fun, and there are decent puzzles to solve and such, too. Not too linear, either, feels like you actually get rewarded for exploring the map.

Pretty hyped for this one to move forth, a bit of mix of zelda old school, some good difficulty and random fun with the side portions of it, plus the demo is fairly big and has several things to do, to which I need to still finish the temple xD

I also like the artstyle, pretty nice, right up my alley. Plus I been wanting more games like this on steam, more than those games that really have no content to them, (you know, those games that bank everything on the nudity, rather than some pretty fun gameplay + story. we need more games like that, and like the h-metrovanias with atmosphere to their designs.)

Fake Happy End

Fake Happy End

Story:

The player character is an ordinary citizen who is suddenly able to see a strange tower that looks like a lopsided jenga stack, but nobody else can see it. Upon entering, they fall into a trap door and get attacked by an OP monster, only to be saved by Karin, a human who can also interact with the tower. The two eventually recruit two more people who can see the tower so they can traverse the increasingly dangerous stratums and solve its mysteries.

Since the party often returns to the outside during the journey, there will be some slice-of-life scenes and relationship/dating events. The dating scenes and relationship scenes add a lot of replayability due to how they show another side of the party members, and one of them will have a ton of references to Alter A.I.L.A. Genesis. I’ll admit I was caught off guard by Mishika’s date, where some of the choices are actually there to fake out people obsessed with making perfect sim dating choices.

Real player with 34.0 hrs in game

I find it difficult to describe this game. It’s sort of a jrpg take on a dungeon crawler, and on the side it’s… Not exactly a dating sim, but has dating sim elements.

I enjoyed the game a good deal, but I’ve been known to enjoy all sorts of strange and quirky things.

Fallen ~Makina and the City of Ruins~

Fallen ~Makina and the City of Ruins~

To start off with, I couldn’t find a fault with the translation aspect of the game. Everthing is far better than a machine translation to be sure although you can’t escape the stereotypical lines as “my hips move on their own” which is a line I hoped would just be abolished entirely.

On the actual game, it’s a nukige RPG maker title. What I mean by that is that it doesn’t try to make the gameplay or story engaging and is merely focused on giving you a servicable story and gameplay exprience while focusing on the H-aspect of it all. The game is aware of this fact as it gives you an easy way to level right away which I recommend doing as there is no fun to be had battling. Grinding isn’t enjoyable as the exp you get from monsters is far too low to level up at a satisfying rate. Getting very high levels isn’t even required as the game throws so much healing items at you, one can easily cheese their way trough “difficult” battles. It all serves as some flavor to build around the H-scenes.

A fantastic H-rpg with some interesting design choices and a great story.

This is a story about makina, and her quest to bonk the bad guy who is making everyone horny. No, really. A bad guy is making everyone horny and using an ancient ruin to make a frankly ridiculous amount of monsters out of the people who have come to conquer it. Beneath the heavy plot is a fairly interesting world with monsters and dungeon excavation that adventurers flood to in what amounts to a gold rush. It’s up to the honest adventurers like makina to keep the corruption down, one way or another…

Kunoichi Botan

Kunoichi Botan

Kagura Games' Happy New Year 1st Project, Kunoichi Botan is now live!

Kunoichi, it’s a fascinating word. This game is somewhat short but the impressive Ecchi RPG. Above all, H events are good enough to make up for this short gameplay. That is, this game can satisfy our first priority, H desire .

As mentioned in its introduction, Botan still lacks experience as the kunoichi. Kunoichi means a girl ninja. So, before starting this game, maybe we could already expect the fate that awaits her .

Real player with 24.1 hrs in game

You need to install the patch since it adds the h to h-game.

https://www.kaguragames.com/product/kunoichi-botan-steam-patch/

The controls are: X = Menu/slow text, Z = Enter/fast text, directional arrows = Move, Shift = Dash, Ctrl = Speeds up dialogue, F1 = options, F2 = fps count, F5 = doubles the screen size (originally 646x509) but the image isn’t as sharp, F12 = returns you to the start menu.

The game’s about 3-4 hours long. It’s uncensored, there are a good number of scenes, and you have a certain control of the direction of where those scenes goes; which makes this game worth the purchase. Make sure to save frequently. You might want to try something different - like fighting the swordmaster instead of submitting to him. Or you might deliberately let Botan get ejaculated in, which will result in a loss. If you lose, and you’ve already seen a scene and don’t want to watch it again (because they’re usually very long); hit F12 and it’ll take you back to the title screen. If you’re having a tough time with fights, select gifted instead in the options - and you can use her ninjutsu to spawn shadow clones outside of combat for battle preparation. When you finish the game, there is a gallerymode. It’s done a bit weird, it’ll use up one of your other saves. There’s 3 different levels - you do everything from view events to fight every enemy in the game. I like this game.
