CHARIOT WARS
Watch intro which lasts 5+ minutes and cuts off before its' conclusion.
Start my first race, the AI pull ahead.
The AI swap positions with each other off screen.
Catch up with said AI, and they are in a perfect line, no swapping of positions.
But, still shows AI swapping positions on the side bar?
Insert confusion.
Pass some chariots - shows me in last position.
Pass all chariots, cross the start/finish line first, tells me I lost.
Insert more confusion.
Restart race…
The AI start climbing up the scenery and doing doughnuts.

After getting this game as a gift, I now want to pay my friend for getting it. I also want to pay him for getting himself a copy because I now have a seriously dangerous urge to get into a car crash. This games CPU has an IQ worse than its fps as they will slam the walls cheeks harder than Jordi El Nino. The worse thing about this though is the 5 minute intro. The only reason we all played this is because of the lore. 11/10
PS if you’re into 500cc mario kart, this is for you.

Story of a Gladiator
Story of a Gladiator is a small arena beat ‘em-up game in which we try to avoid getting a bloody nose.
The story is told quite quickly: Our family and friends are killed by the Romans and we manage to escape so that we do not end up in slavery… or worse. Finally, we spend the day with fighting and drinking alcohol in the company of shady ladies - until one day we meet a famous gladiator who gives us some advice on how to become a great champion ourselves. And so our first fight of many begins in the arena…

The game is very fun and interesting, we definitely need more Gladiator games as there hasn’t been any good one’s in modern times, it’s very sad that such genre is not being looked into by developers and game studios. Ryse of Rome had gladiator mode, but it’s not like Gladiator Begins/Road to Colosseum. I am glad this game came out, and hopefully people show interest in this game, so we can get more of this genre.
As for the game
The game is very fun and actually very hard, my only issue with it is the lack of story and in depth customization, the game feels very limited in that aspect, it’s not even as good in terms of depth as sword and sandals to be honest. The graphics are amazing, the armour looks very nice, I just wish there was more depth to fight styles, weapon, character customization, story arc, training and maybe companions and such in fights. There is a lot the game can do, I played all the levels and have 3 stars in all of them, took me 9hrs total play time

Historical Games: Chariot Racing
Fun. Like this. But overpriced for 15 minutes of indie game.
Wish there was an option to get rid of the stupid Vignette.

Mario Cart 64 B.C. baybee! Love the idea around this.
But in all honesty this game is low quality garbage.. which is quite apparent after watching the gameplay video. I had a pretty rough time even getting through the first level. Too easy & boring. That being said, I knew what I was getting in to and still want to reward the devs for good behavior (the idea not the execution).
This game needs:
Multiplayer - Everything bad about this experience would be excusable if you could play with others, Bonus: Let us yell insults as we ride by each other.

For Sparta
PROS:
-
A decent variety of enemies. There are about 3-4 different skins for each monster, but they each have varying attacks and behaviours to keep things interesting.
-
A large selection of craftable perks to potentially obtain.
-
The controls handle well. Dodging and attacking feels responsive and enjoyable.
-
Action-packed generally speaking. Enemies spawn in waves throughout a day, but if you take too long, the next wave will spawn in to keep you on your toes.
-
Satisfying and appropriate sound effects.

Great little arcade game. It’s difficult and has a lot of random elements that can make it anywhere from challenging to near impossible, but with games being so fast/short and the ability to restart in a couple of seconds it’s not normally frustrating.
If you like old school keyboard bashing this is for you.

Riding Seas
Riding Seas is a cartoon-style boat racing game that fits into the arcade racing games of the 2000s (WaveRace, Splashdown, …). A family friendly game, with varied, colorful and fun decorations in which you will find many references to cinema and / or video games.
The game offers:
Shield Impact
maybe some more gamemodes would be nice. Like a mission gamemode (kill 10 enemies in 15 seconds for example), or a gamemode were you play as the enemy would be super cool.
But it’s a nice little game
7.3/10

The player character goes invisible after first game played and there is no actual bots, hardly even any pattern to compete with or gameplay. It needs to be fixed..
I did not refund it, as the original idea is kind of great.. !
Shields are always underestimated. But that underestimation only returns stronger with this game.
Not only the game craps out and it is the gamebreaking bug where the character disappears every retry.
It is a try and retry centered game. Not really worth anything like this. Could been really great but always forget to retry.

Asterix & Obelix XXL 3 - The Crystal Menhir
It’s a very good and fun game for coop for two kids or a parent and a kid. Even though the coop experience is diminished by poorly thought way of handling camera when the two heroes are far apart .
So:
-
- great graphics,
-
- great sound ,
-
- great level design , alternating between quests, puzzles , fights
-
- good dialogues ,
-
- good story,
-
- dogmatix is adorable and fierce!! ,
-
- fun fights with many options
-
- Fakeusnewus , Econimicrasious and other funny characters

I have been a huge fan of Asterix since my childhood. Played XXL 1 many many times and 2 sporadically and loved them very much.
This game is a disgrace to Asterix (XXL). The developers didn’t attempt to make a 3D game like the other two games have been and made some random “mobile top down” game for the quick cash grab. The menu interface is even ripped off straight out of the XXL 2 remaster. No effort put into it in any way.
The game looks nice, going for the collectibles is very fun and bringing back a specific Roman from the very first Asterix comic (and animated movie) is a great touch. I think that is about all covering the positives of this game.

Shillelagh
Got this game because I love devil daggers. The soundtrack is awesome and the gameplay has a really unique twist.
– Real player with 4.3 hrs in game
Overall, I feel the potential and the charm of this game are buried too deeply beneath absolutely horrible visual clarity and the frustration of, for a lack of better words, total bullshit deaths completely outside of player control.
Shillelagh is held back by issues that are few in number but quite significant in effect. My biggest frustration currently is that it seems everything in the game has collision and can push you around. The trees popping up, the spirits you launch at enemies, the little floating stone fragments that appear when enemies burst through the rock, and probably more. On the handful of runs I’ve tried, an enemy has killed me only once. Every other run I’ve had end did so due to a tree bursting up beneath me unexpectedly and shoving me off the arena with no chance for me to react, or a single, tiny out of place floating stone bumping me into a pit. I don’t feel like I died because I made a mistake - I died because of something stupid I have absolutely no ability to influence and no possible method of reacting to. It feels like shit and it’s rapidly killing my ability to enjoy the game even this early on.
