Lakeview Valley

Lakeview Valley

The Elevator Pitch:

It’s like “8-bit Horror Groundhog Day: The Game.”

Only, it’s really more like “Groundhog Week”, and you’ve traded the meteorology for murder.

The Meat & Potatoes (& Amy’s Cookies):

I absolutely LOVED Lakeview Cabin Collection, so when I found out that the sole developer of LVC, Roope Tamminen, had just recently released his latest game, I couldn’t wait to give it a try.

It quickly and effortlessly surpassed my already-rather-lofty expectations…

-There is a staggering amount of content in this game.

Lakeview Valley is a refreshing take on the genre of Small Town RPG games that I have thorougly been enjoying. After playing more than 45 hours of it I haven’t even brushed the surface of what this game offers and am still getting a handle on what I’m doing.

You play some guy who moved to a new town where nothing is as it seems and you can choose to be whatever you want. I think this game is amazing and I can’t believe I didn’t pick it up from day one.

Want to be a normal guy living a normal life and get to know people and be helpful in your community while remodeling your home? Do it!

Seven Days

Seven Days

So… Seven Days, or Seven Days With You: The Most Precious Memory in Our Lives… sigh … It’s all too bittersweet…

A friend of Shuuichi’s gives him a cursed Blu-ray disc and asks him to watch it and see if it’s actually cursed. Well, as it turns out, an evil girl ghost comes out and tries to possess him, only to be exorcised by his childhood friend Murasaki. It’s then that the ghost turns into a normal looking girl named Chiyako, who in turn reveals that she had died and that there are souls of six other girls in her who had also previously died. But a ghost can only remain in the mortal realm for 49 days, give or take a few. So it’s decided that these seven girls will divide the time they have left between themselves, leaving everyone a week to do what they want with the small bit of life that was left to them before they disappear for good.

A mysterious adventure well-worth embarking on.

Synopsis

Seven Days tells the tale of Shuuichi Kanzaki, a young man who, thanks to his rather peculiarly resourceful classmate, Masaru Kinokuniya, stumbles upon a cursed video. The man of reason he sees himself as, Shuuichi takes his friend’s “dare” and decides to watch the video, only to realize shortly later, to his own bewilderment, that he was not quite exactly being bamboozled. Out spawns a creature from an otherworldly plane of existence and assaults the protagonist. The bleak situation comes into speculative resolve by a Shinto priestess, and his good childhood friend, Murasaki Sairenji, as she attempts to exorcise the begrudged spirit, the result of which is far from the expected one. Both Shuuichi and Murasaki have to deal with a body which, although now bereft of former hostility, still serves as a vessel to souls of seven girls whose lives ended far too prematurely and who as such harbour profound grievances against the world that has abandoned them. Will Shuuichi be able to grant them their postmortem wishes and the ends they desire?

However, Lane must convince at least four other students to join the group before the end of the week.

Angels of Death

Angels of Death

This is my first time writing a review, which is something that I generally won’t do, but I feel that this game was special enough that it really deserves it. This review is spoiler-free, as the story is by far best enjoyed going in with as little knowledge as possible. If you haven’t already, I recommend not reading the chapter summaries posted on the store page. They don’t contain any key spoilers, but some things are far better left as surprises. By the way, yes, you have to play the chapters in order.

First of all a question to whichever genius wrote this story.

HOW?!

How do you create something that is both ****ed up and ****ing beautiful at the same time?

I do not want to spoil the story because it is best experienced blind, in fact I’m very glad I got around to playing it rather than watching a let’s play as this is one of the best game narratives I’ve experienced in a while. The main crux of it really focuses on the growing bond between Ray, a teenage girl who wants to die, and Zack, a ruthless serial killer, as they leave the building together with the promise that Zack will kill Ray once they’ve escaped. From there we go to each of the floors, which have their own unique killer to run from and puzzles to solve. I loved encountering each new threat, every character was extremely memorable and each one presented a different type of challenge to overcome. But it really is the relationship of Ray and Zack that pushes a lot of the emotional scenes, in fact it’s quite unreal how much my heart aches at some of these scenes (I should not want to hug a killer as much as I do playing this).

GACHIMUCHI M♂NLY PUZZLE

So… Bear with me. I had these DEEP DARK fantasies and no way to release them…And… The moment I laid my eyes upon this gem, I knew that we were meant to be together.

My girlfriend did not approved on my personal choise of games and I am single now… But it’s allright, I moved to my parents house and now I can spend more time with my favorite puzzle. Though I do not see them often, because my parents are afraid to go to my room and interact with me. Strange… Must be because I play with speakers on… My steam friends stopped inviting me to play any other games. They stopped talking to me at all, as a mater of fact. But that’s allright… Since I already got all I need.

Edit: REMEBER TO DOWNLOAD THE R18 PATCH TO GET THE FULL EXPERIENCE!

If you saw my review for the 1st game, i asked for more replay value… This is it.

This game has soo many stuff to unlock and i can’t wait for future updates if they add any new content!

Now let me explain in detail what i mean:

So i already played the demo before launch so i was already impressed for what they added, but now when this launched, i kept getting amazed on the new stuff there is! It has soo much XXX scenes i couldn’t even count. (Compared to the 1st game) You do have galleries but is unlocked after upgrading the hometown, only thing missing for now is a “Zombies/Monster attack animation” gallery, but you got cutscenes and death scenes available.
