Don’t Cheat On Me
Pretty fun and funny game, I think the wife and neighbor pick-ups need to be balanced, the disco is way to easy to use and other abilities could use some balancing but the game just came out so let’s see what the future holds.

The Ultimate Trivia Challenge
While the game is fun and addicting, it is also very frustrating as some of the answers do not correspond with question. An example would be… Who was the 42nd president and it would give you multiple actresses to choose from. In the spelling catagory sometimes the answers would have the same answers. However, if you chose the right answer it would be considered wrong because you picked the “wrong” box
This game needs a serious overhaul of it’s answers.

I think this is a fun trivia game, I love the party mode and was able to stream it on Mixer without a problem. My favorite mode would have to be the sound bites. I was able to play this game for over 3 hours without getting bored or having things seem repeatitive. My friends and I laughed so hard at each others rushed wrong answers. We truly had a lot of fun playing it. The biggest issue with this game if I am to be honest is the amount of errors it has in it. Spelling, grammar, not correct options, wrong answers, etc. I think it takes away from the game a bit but in the end for $5 it’s still fun to play with friends.

Flirt
My life changed approximately six hours ago.
I married my high school sweetheart three and a half years ago. I thought she was the one. I thought. Until she started throwing little quips at me just to get on my nerves. Stuff like, “You never do the laundry!” and “why do you smell so bad?” I hated it. I hated my life. How did I manage to get stuck with this woman? What did I do wrong?
Then it happened.
Flirt was released. My world was rocked.
I met the love of my life here, thirty-seven minutes and eighteen seconds ago. She never complains about me smelling bad. She never says my clothes are dirty.

Flirt is a good of communication and making new friends to hang out with online or offline. Flirt was created to simulate a dating world that’s not Tinder or any other dating sites or services. I loved Comedy Night since the day I bought it in 2017 and this is now another one of my favourite games by Lighthouse Studios now too! Sure this game was not advertised nor released properly but it’s not the worse outcome. I played for a few hours of release and can say it was good outcome so far. The player base needs improvement and better stuff added such as emotes and perks for the hearts. Overall it has potential just needs some work. Good Job Lighthouse Studios!!

Paperback: The Game
I have the physical copy of this and enjoy it - so I got this just for time passing and a bit of practice.
AI is ok and can be a bit of a challenge.
A repeated game lock up issue when dragging cards seems to have been resolved.
This version is helpful as my partner has trouble shuffling and so online is a preferred method of play for us.
Would be nice to have some of the game expansions as options, and also for the music to be longer or more varied. It gets repetitive

Deck building word game - what a fantastic idea! build words from the letters in your hand and use the score to buy more letters to add to your deck. I’ve looked at the physical version of this for a long time, but most of my family isn’t that interested in word games. This was an easy way to jump into it, and I’m winning them over :) great art, great mechanics, and the AI makes it fun to play solo. Can’t recommend it enough.

Duo Defenders - Tower Defense
It’s amazing. It’s beautiful. It’s hilarious. This game was made for Steam Remote Play, but I can’t wait to play it on a TV with a friend! #TeamKoko

Duo Defenders mixes fun co-op gameplay with one of my favorite game genres, tower defense. The tower defense gameplay is delightfully simple, and it feels more focused on team work - you can quickly get overwhelmed if you don’t work together and communicate, but that’s also the fun of it! Levels are pretty well-designed such that each level is a new teamwork challenge. The later levels are daunting for non-gamers, almost wish there was another faster/better character to select if one of the players is struggling, which would make it more casual.

Harvest Moon: Light of Hope Special Edition
I really love this game. It’s very cute without being cutesy most of the time and has an engaging story line.
The game is very reminiscent of Stardew Valley but with enough differences to be worth owning both.
I absolutely LOVE the farming mechanism, which allows for crops to MUTATE depending on chance, terrain type, and time of year as well as mutation boosting agents. It’s a very, very clever addition to a farming simulator and one I’ve never seen before. I also really love how the seasonal planting works, because unlike many other games, if you plant crops in the wrong season, they DO NOT die immediately. Actually, with enough care, fertilizer, and luck, you can grow any crop in any season. And as annoying as I find it sometimes, crops randomly DO wither and die on you, especially if you aren’t taking good care of them, which is aggravating when it happens but also a really nice touch. (My family grows food and our plants do not all suddenly wither at once with the change of season).

I liked this game, but the reason I said I would not recommend it is largely because of a few small frustrating aspects of it, that I think add up to it just not being worth quite as much as $20. I’d value it at $8 maybe. The things I mean by frustrations:
-
I had to look up how to use Soleil, and guess what, if you’re playing the PC version of the game, you can’t! You have to play multiplayer with a console and 2 controllers for that. Stupid.
-
The controls are not that well explained inside the game. It took me forever to figure out how to actually use upgraded tools. All they tell you is “hold the Action button”, but that’s not what you actually have to do. What you actually have to do, that the game doesn’t tell you, is hold the action button and drag it across the squares you want to use it on. It was a pain in the ass to learn that bc like I said, the in-game exposition wasn’t adequate.

Date Night Bowling
The arcade bowling is solid - I can consistently get strikes, but curving/spin isn’t particularly intuitive. Unfortunately, each character has a single phrase you have to confirm through every single time they come up to bowl. You have to play as everyone in single player before they’re available in vs. mode (whether AI or human). The minigames are fun and themed to the bowling alley. Achievements, at least at launch, appear to be not be functioning. If you’re looking for some casual arcade-style bowling, you’ll find it here - everything else feels a little thin.

The Sims™ 4
I’ve been playing Sims since 2000, at first only the console games but eventually also Sims 3 on PC. I have over 1000 hrs on Sims 3, and was a bit tentative to switch over to Sims 4 since I heard so many people complain during launch. I then had a period of time where I didn’t have a PC that could handle SIms, and so I only bought TS4 this summer.
I absolutely don’t regret the purchase. I guess most people who have played TS3 already have TS4 (or they don’t plan on getting it), so my review might not be that useful, but I would say that if you’re thinking about making the leap over then it’s definitely worth it if you buy TS4 on sale (which happens a LOT). I’m not sure that I would pay full price for many of the expansions though, and definitely not for the base game. As someone who has spent so many hours on TS3, I have a lot of fun with TS4 but also lack a lot of features and smaller details that aren’t available here. The only thing stopping me from going back to TS3 instead is purely the fact that TS4 runs a lot smoother.

It’s quite hard to write an accurate review for this game. Even among the most influential simmers, you will find different opinions on the game, specially the DLCs. To me, DLCs are a must to enhance experience. To be honest, no one can tell you, with a 100% accuracy, whether you will like this game or not; it depends on your play style. If you have a vast imagination on your own and don´t mind starting from scratch, I believe TS4 can be for you. I am giving the game the thumbs up because I personally have a lot of fun with it.
