Playing Pride & Prejudice 1: An Austen Armoire
As the title suggests, it is the novel Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen.
It is strictly speaking a visual novel. I mean there is no game, it is the text of the full novel transcribed (Only the first 23 chapters, however) with an interactive part where you can dress the characters (Elisabeth, Jane …) With various clothes in a nice visual style and create postcards with quotes from the book.
Essentially, it’s an easy, fun, and enjoyable way to re-read this lovely novel at a pace to suit everyone’s taste and without affecting the reader’s imagination. Good work

Kabukicho Story
It’s okay. A melancolic little story told using the RPG medium. There are a a couple game sequences. The whole thing is short, maybe a couple hours at most.

Great game. The atmosphere is really soothing and the story is awesome.
I am just gonna point out a few things here. This game is somewhat held in the 12th century irl. Although this is a fantasy game, modern language is not really that suitable. But overall, great game. I recommend playing it.

Xuan-Yuan Sword: The Gate of Firmament
Things you need to know about before playing or purchasing The Gate of Firmament ( 穹之扉 in Chinese)
At the foremost, I have to be frank I am a fan addicted to The Gate of Firmament and its gaming series. But in this review I will try to elaborate neutrally the pros and cons of this game alongside with things you might be interested to know about.
- Languages Supporting. You attention here please, this game only supports English, Japanese, Chinese, Traditonal Chinese with the corresponding UI, menu and subtitles. So feel free to play if you are English or Japanese players, but unluckily for players in other regions, whether waiting for mods( or official translations, donnot be expecting on that ) or choosing not to buy is at your discretion.

Final Fantasy Love Stories? Pfft
This RPG i played it over three years amidst all the work and disappointments I had lol. and it is a real gem. Its basic outline is like 3/4 good FF games comprised together. But the story is a very powerful one and has one of the beautiful romantic storylines ever. The gameplay is pretty interesting, it has many locations, quests, equipment, forging, enemies and so manyyyy easter eggs hidden inside. It has this range of achievements that are so difficult and can be time consuming, to my knowledge only 3 people completed all achievements til date. I also think some achievements are bugged and that’s also a reason but regardless this is a pretty good game to play. Also this is one of the games where you can see how much the developers have cared for you, the small clock on the right up, good controls, mouse camera option etc. I was touched by it.

Behind the Horizon
I’ve been enjoying this game a lot. It has quests, farming, animals, magic, crafting etc. You get to explore a pretty big world and meet the villagers. The scenery is very pretty and it has seasons. It is a very unique game. The developer has answered questions, taken in feedback and suggestions and fixed bugs rather quickly. I am very satisfied with my purchase and would recommend this to anyone.

This is a great game.. The developer is VERY responsive and open to new ideas. and they any fix issues quickly.
Its a farming game BUT don’t expect Stardew Valley, although it has a somewhat similar loop. IE farming, explore ect, although with a “Nature” theme..
Progression can be slow at times, but blossoms after chapter 1..
Make sure you read the help F1 as it explains your tools. Use the MAP.. to keep track of possible resources.

Dead Man’s Rest
A very good game, even in early access (it’s almost complete at this point, anyway).
I follow Argent Games ever since Requiescence, even if I tend to purchase their titles elsewhere due to Steam censorship, which isn’t relevant here since the game is not explicit in content.
It has to be my favorite of their games, alongside Requiescence itself.
The storylines are interesting, and with a very short common route (that has more than one path to access the various routes), it makes replaying each route a whole new experience, especially since what is true in one route won’t be in another, aside from core traits and background elements about the characters.

Dead Man’s Rest
Developer: Gallium Games
Publisher: Argent Games
Pros:
1. The Wild West, a place where a balance of lawlessness and peacekeeping is a mainstay. Gunslinging, alcoholism, and tensions between Americans and Natives run in the back. What happens if we add in a little love to that? A more taboo love such as homosexuality in a time where heterosexuality was the overwhelming factor? You get Dead Man’s Rest, a finely packed visual novel with short routes varying from 5 love interests, each being variably different from each other but keep the characters consistency almost each time. It does a great deal in being faithful to old western culture that involves your standard by the book sheriff, trifles with Native Americans, and some small scenes of gunfighting, however it does an excellent job at adding in the romance aspect. It feels down to earth and realistic, with morals that reflected the time back then whether it be about sexuality or your culture, and how people react.

Lady in Mystery
I enjoyed Lady in Mystery very much. I’m sad it’s over.
This is Yuri. You play a few characters in this VN. At first I was confused about who is who because the narration changes between them. I hadn’t realized that until I noticed that at the bottom right corner, the initials of the character’s name you are about to play as, shows up. Suddenly everything made sense. lol
The main character is Heesoo/Seol-Young and she is the one you play as most of the time. She is a woman pretending to be a man due to her tragic past. She lives and works with her servant Woosung and they pretend to be brothers. While working as private detectives they help people and also investigate the whereabouts of the person that
! killed Heesoo’s family and ruined their lives.

After Black Closet (and it’s since 2016!), it was such a long time to find the next proper yuri game that suit my taste. I do enjoy those lighted-heart, heart-warming, gentle, simple plot yuri game like OshiRabu, Perfect Gold or Those without voice, but I WANT something more serious. And this is it! I’m glad Lady in Mystery got localization! Especially since it was such an old game (it was out in Korean since 2012). Oh how I wish LiM have voice acting while playing, it would be AMAZING. ILJIMAE BEST GIRL!
