Bloody Paws: Passion Unleashed
Really great little beat ‘em up! Starts getting pretty tricky after a while
! and the ending’s pretty lackluster rn, though (But hey: It’s Early Access, everything’s subject to change/improvement)
Definitely worth the $5 and I’m looking forward to seeing how this one develops!

Frincess&Cnight
A charming little game, it’s obvious that a lot of care has been put into it!
Interesting and fun mechanics, but don’t be fooled by its charming exterior: it does not mess around in the later levels, and requires a considerable degree of mechanical and puzzling skill.
Overall, I enjoyed it, and am glad I completed it.
Expect a few hours of playtime, a lot of fun, and many, many deaths.

As I’m writing this review, I have completed this game.
In one word: wonderful. I loved this game from start to finish. The controls are very basic but don’t get me wrong! with such simple controls, you can do so much and the game is extremely complex despite being so simple… the puzzles are a huge brain teaser and I love the increasing of difficulty as you go on.
Maybe a lot won’t realize but the first few levels will teach you how to achieve certain areas and little tricks (not mentioned in the tutorials) that you can use. and again, you can do so much with so very little controls!

Winter’s Empty Mask - Visual novel
My first review after a fair break…
I quite enjoyed this VN. It’s a bit dark - but the store page already gave that away.
The plot and setting aren’t spectacular but still quite well done - importantly, they are internally consistent; although the English translation is a tad wonky, it’s certainly enough to get the point across. I believe that the reasonable weeb would be satisfied with the level of cultural authenticity. The story explores a number of concepts such as inner demons, conflict between love and familial duty, and most certainly moral relativity.

I’ve finished this game in ~20 hours. I had a great time in Winter’s Empty Mask. Now I’ll why you should play this one if you like Visual Novels.
Main features:
— Unusual story about ~16 years old girl, who is professional killer with mystical skills. [Its not a spoiler. You will find it out for 30 minutes from start of game]
— Interesting storytelling from two points of view. Game, roughly speaking, divide on two phases: night and day. At night you playing as killer and fight with bosses. At day you looking on results of these fights as usual student, who actually studies in 1 school with serial killer.

Fight For Love
While we had fun this was a frustrating experience.
What I will give this game, is that it allowed me to step into the shoes of an actual incel and understand their life. This game is the reason that videogames are linked to school shootings, and that is an outright fact.
Overall, I found the gameplay to be meaninglessly difficult alongside unnatractive visuals, as well as a disgustingly written and developed plotline which personally made me fill up my personal vomit bag.
The movie SAW couldn’t make me afraid of saws, but level 6 did - FUCK LEVEL 6.

It’s an action platformer and a basic one at that.
I’ll list all the problems I have with the game below and then have a shorter summary at the end.
Underwhelming throughout
Fight For Love starts with a long-winded, cringeworthy nice-guy infatuation story (that, in retrospect thankfully, can be skipped). Honestly, it would’ve been better without, or at the very least shortened. Perhaps small parts of it could have been included between levels instead of the whole thing showed in the beginning: this would have applied some useful pacing to the plot.

She Is My Sin
She Is My Sin is a old school Top Down Shooter game. It is about a story of a dark hero, who was planning to steal the power of 2nd God.
The Ruler of the second Heaven [High Tower] has been vacant for a long time. Nobody knows the truth that only six Gods lives in [The Seven Gods]. Someone is ready to create a bigger deception to bury the lies and mistakes.

The Stone

––
The Stone is a sci-fi game for the HTC Vive and Oculus Rift by Bornteks Entertainment. The exact genre is a bit awkward to pin down as it has a romance sci-fi story, some puzzle elements and while there is a good number of shooting areas, the focus seems on the story more than anything.
The narrative really has to be praised in this game and I felt that the voice actors did a good job too. The world that has been built kept me wanting to play.

This game is pretty weird. It supposed to be an RPG but it feels more like an adventure game with shooter parts added.
The game’s best part is it graphics. They are honestly great. Easily some of the best graphics on VR. However the actual gameplay is nothing special. Feels more like an on rail video where you sometimes press buttons honestly. But it is pretty immersive and the story isn’t awful (although nothing special). The music is also surprisingly good, it sounds really nice. All the other sounds (the weapon sounds primarily) sound a lot worse though. The voice acting also is surprisingly good. The game is sadly really hard. And not in a hard but fair way, the shooting parts are just unbalanced.

9-nine-:Episode 3
The game is much more developed with the plot and the romance is build to parallel episode 1’s version. Though, episode 3 is a mix of a visual and kinetic novel. It’s much more straight forward than the last two games of the 9-nine series. Although I wish I had waited for episode 3 to be on sale, I was disappointed the there was no spring break sale for 2021.
Anyhow, it’s certainly easier to interact with Haruka because you can barely hear anything she says in the last two games. This game is (obviously) much more concentrated on letting her interact with Kakeru and co., so at least even on listening at full volume you can finally her hear more clearly.
– Real player with 18.5 hrs in game
9-Nine Episode 3 is the penultimate volume of the series with the establishment of the main villain.
Here we focus on Haruka, an older senpai with split personalities. Her personalities are a side effect of her unique superpower and her insecurities, and while a classic case of self-development, her earnest efforts rings true. Haruka’s drastic change between her two personalites increases her appeal, and along with her unique reactions, makes her an expressive and animated heroine.
The series is noticeably weaker when it’s not emphasizing its comedic bits, romantic heart-to-hearts and action heavy scenes, but in the grand scheme of the story, it’s only going to get better from here.

If My Heart Had Wings
I told my friends I was idling for cards.
I lied.
Edit; Crap. You put me on the front page, here is a real review.
Let me start this honestly. I am totally biased. If My Heart Had Wings is the first Visual Novel I ever played, and I love it with all of my little heart. Also in case you didn’t notice I’ve played this game for more than 900 hours, and only 20 of those hours were idle. I’ve run through each route in this game at least 15 times, and I can actually speak really crappy Japanese because of this game. In addition, I’ve spent more money on this game for the badges, emoticons, cards, extra cards and backgrounds.

If My Heart Had Wings imhhw is an English translation of a popular Japanese VN = Visual Novel that follows the struggles of Aoi, a young male recovering from a serious biking accident, in his relationships with several Academy female classmates while he simultaneously manages an all-girl dorm.
IMHHW even may tug a bit on your heart-strings as you follow the developing relationships among Aoi and the girls struggling to rebuild a damaged glider in the face of determined opposition from influential Academy leaders. IMHHW is an excellent VN for a reader new to the genre. The story is well conceived and the programming to achieve the multiple story-lines is well done. /imhhw

tia.sav
Summary:
A touching tale of finding hope and love told via a retro-styled 2D RPG. When disaster strikes, you must battle your way through lovingly crafted levels that cross several game genres. With a variety of mini-games, and a delightful collection of levels tied to wide-ranging genres, tia.sav manages to keep its story at the center without feeling repetitive, though it sometimes forgoes player action in areas that I REALLY wanted to take a more active role.
✔️ A heartfelt tale of hope and love in the face of isolation. I was invested in helping the protagonist, and there were many moments when it really hit me in the feels.
