It’s a little buggy, but none of it is game breaking. It’s a little grindy, but possible without the grind. It’s a little game, but the ambition behind making something decent paid off.
Every enemy in the game has a clear weakness and moment to attack. Your roll is how you avoid damage, and the attacks are mostly well telegraphed. You can play as a ranged character or a melee character. I prefer the melee personally, but ranged is playable.
All in all, the game passes the time in a fun way, and that’s pretty much all you can ask from a video game.

Patch Quest
THE GAME
Patch Quest is an amzing Roguevania that, as the name suggests, combines gameplay from the metroidvania and the roguelite genre. This is resembled by the overworld map being fixed, with shortcuts to unlock all around the world (and the world is pretty big, trust me) but the actual things that are on the map are random each time you start a run (monster encounters and terrain, basically). I adore this aspect as it allows for really fun and varied gameplay while still keeping some of the things that make the metroidvania games great. The game also has its roots in The Binding of Isaac and Enter the Gungeon, which is very noticable if you’ve played them before jumping into Patch Quest.

Absolute Gem. I picked it up a few day ago and I keep playing it almost every night with my wife. We both love it.
Pros:
- Your ride determines your skills and the fruits are your bullets.
! You can catch up to 5 pets that can let you ride on, or help you in fight.

It is so easy to pick up as what you have to do is just dodge, shot, occasional catch and use your skills.

There is a good and simple story.

This is a wonderful game, its small but tough.
Info I have discovered via playing, beyond this point.
If you don’t mind game overs, a terrific amount of game overs, then its the right game for you. You can get pretty far, and have great runs at the Three collection levels and Three boss levels (1). There are a great many weapons to discover (2) as you battle vicious creatures (3).
(1) (a) SlimeBall (HP 50) ; It releases hordes of Slimes and punches you for a cross map knock-back and deals 5 damage.

EDIT:
The devs seem to be listening to the community really well. Lots of improvements have happend, the sarcastic remarks are gone, the tree is possible and theres some actual progression to look forward to and plenty in game where you can see that effort is being made.
This game went from a disaster with no real direction to a playable and enjoyable experience
For a free game id give it 7/10 now. Once we see more levels in play, more weapons to choose from, more stats or even spells i think this’ll be a decent semi-rouge like. Id like to see more chances for healing, more combat than just watch the enemies drop and fight carefully. The bigger maps before were nice, but i think a healthy medium would be perfect.

Block Dungeon
The meaning of the game is quite simple, you need to pass different levels, pump your character, kill enemies, change weapons. The game has good music and very nice graphics, the eyes just rest during the passage, this is not a FPS game where you need to focus as much as possible at the monitor, this game is where you can relax and have a good time.

This game is simple yet it is FUN.
There is no tutorial or manual, so here is a simple guide (WASD to move or attack, Q opens inventory WASD to move about inventory E to use item, F to destroy item, Q closes inventory) As you get stuff check your inventory if the item is better than what you have equipped then use it if not destroy it. Healing potions are 25 health and 50 health so watch were your health is and use one as needed.
Every block you reveal gives you coins equal to the level you are on. Lvl 1 = 1 coin lvl 10 = 10 coins. There are 3 vendors in the main screen Weapon, armor and potion/health spend coins with these vendors to get upgraded gear, it also drops randomly from chests in game. You inventory is LIMITED to the boxes you see once it is full you cannot get any more loot until you use or destroy something. If you die you respawn in the main screen area.
