–-Update—
6/11/2015
Cards are finally enabled for this game and there are 8 [out of 15 for the badge] of them to collect. I’ve played the game and did not enjoy it. Now I can leave the game open to get the 8 card drops.
–-Update—
Steam store page lists Steam Trading Cards. No card drops after 8 hours. Something is obviously broken or the game was published claiming to have a feature it clearly doesn’t

A lot of the previous reviewers' gripes have been addressed. The windowed mode thing and the tutorial thing. My xbox 360 controller works fine with the game.
Unfortunately that leaves me to gripe about the actual gameplay. Not feeling it. Sorry, but it’s floaty garbage. It is what I imagine homemade soap would be like if you never made soap before. Not really enjoyable.

TOKOYO: The Tower of Perpetuity
Very good daily run roguelite tower climber. The lack of a primary attack and reliance on a single slow-recharge bomb makes the entire thing feel a lot more like a danmaku game than a platformer. Characters are pretty diverse and have completely different styles of bomb attack which leads to needing to play them in completely different ways. Using the foxgirl you need to hold back and allow the missiles to home, while the maid boy (cute) needs to get very close and whack into enemies. Powerups being random and tied to player corpses makes each run feel just unique enough to make you change up your playstyle, but the powerups are weak enough that succeeding in a run still feels like a test of skill instead of luck.

even though it’s in early access game you can still enjoy what the game offers! the gameplay is very fun even without a “normal attack” as you journey through the tower you learn you use your skill better and find better items to assist you.
the graphics are amazing and the pixel art style just has a unique charm that just makes everything so cute! the game reminds me of older arcade games I used to play
the game easily worth $10 and can offer tons of fun.
the social features are very fun and I hope that they get expanded on more!

Betrayer: Curse of the Spine
Okay, let me start out by saying that i actually REALLY LIKE this game. I played through the demo multiple times since hearing about it a couple of months ago, and was excited when it came out 3 days ago and have been playing it as much as i can since. But with all of that being said…this game definitely has some bugs/issues & and is SO CLOSE to being absolutely great…that i hate having anything negative to say about it in this “review” for it.
First things first: PLAY THE DEMO (which is actually pretty long) BEFORE BUYING THIS GAME.

Project Delta
Overview
Project Delta is a Metroid-like game which uses procedural generation inspired by Area and Item Randomizers of Retro Metroidvania titles.
The game will require you to choose what order you want to receive power ups in and generates a world which adheres to that order. Discover new map structures which require more and more powerups as you try to track down the powers of darkness which is trying to gain power over the multiverse.
Content
At this point the first 4 map structures are available on the base steam branch, the beginning of the midgame is available on the beta branch. After finishing the content in the base branch (around 1 hr play time), if you wish to continue playing switch to the demo branch (roughly 2 more hours of playtime).
Controls
At this point the game requires using the D-Pad for movement.
Face Buttons:
Left button = Shoot, Hold for Charge. Charge restores ammo and if your charge shot hits it heals.
Top Button = Bombs
Right button = Run. Pressing Right Button in air will result in a somersault which changes air physics and makes your collider smaller.
Bottom Button = Jump.
Shoulder:
Left Shoulder = Diagonal Aim. Press up or down while holding this to change if you’re aiming diagonal up or down.
Right Shoulder = Essence Arrows. If you have this powerup you can attach your bombs to your arrows by holding right shoulder. Consumes ammo
Quick Powerups Access:
Using a combination of your Left Analog and Right Analog you can change which powerups are active.
Left Analog Up = Movement Menu
Left Analog Left = Arrows Menu
Left Analog Down = Set Time Scale (requires powerup not currently in game)
Left Analog Right = Change essence practice (bomb type)
The Rogue Cavern
Hey sean so this my review of the game
so kind agree with krudler the game was a little shakey at the start and you had bunch work to do at the release but i’ll give you credit you listened to his advice and made game much more elaborate and more challenging and I found myself playing it quite a bit more ever since the updates
So here things you do well and need to work on or add
pros:
1. you did much better in making the levels a lot more elaborate and build on each other
2. you made much more challenging levels

I went in with a totally open mind. I don’t mind that the graphics are limited, that’s not why I play games. I play games for fun gameplay and good underlying mechanics.
Rare is it to find a game made by a one-person studio where they explain the basic control scheme right off the bat. There’s a few characters “in town” and they have some witty dialogue that actually made me laugh, and then a guy holding a sign who gives you a little tutorial. I was actually impressed with this aspect. It got me up and playing in under a minute, and I got a laugh out of the good humor.

Boots Versus Plants
Hey, watch out - zombie are coming… But no, it looks like this time we will have to deal with a more dangerous enemy - BOOTS !!! Jokes aside, we have a brand new platformer made in black and white style. It may seem that you have already seen such games a bunch of times, and this one will not surprise you with anything. Well, you are partly right, of course, but I still decided to devote a couple of hours to this game and discovered a couple of funny things there. Firstly, the game really tells about the fight between boots and plants, but at the same time the protogonist here is a boot, and what is more, in HUMAN form, armed with a pistol with endless cartridges. It sounds absurd, but it is. In general, if you are looking for innovative gameplay, then this game is clearly not for you, but if you just want to pass a couple of hours cheerfully, you can safely take it for a rather modest price of $ 0.89.

If you have nostalgia for the good old days of beautifully crafted black and white games, you
will love this game.
