Simple platformer for kids and adults. The game is quite short and it’s easy to finish. If you have children at home, they can play too.

Disney•Pixar WALL-E
Wall-e is not any kind of game, it’s a game that truly makes you question how you didn’t find this game sooner, it gives a completely new meaning to video games, with the amazing graphics, amazing story and amazing smooth gameplay. There really isn’t a better game than Wall-e. Wall-e answers the questions like: What is the meaning of life?, What happens after death?, Is life real?, Why does dad hit me? Etc. It really is something special… You really wouldn’t think that it’s that much of a special game at first glance but when you play it you realize more and more how fantastic the game actually is… The only con is that people might make fun of you because it’s a “kids game”, but they aren’t real friends anyways, right? So I would 100% recommend this game to anyone who seeks for the most amazing and fascinating game on this platform. It truly is something special and I think that everyone should experience this amazing experience that Wall-e will give you.

I got this game on sale for like 5 bucks, and it’s AWESOME. I had the console version of this, as well as the PC demo when I was younger, so I decided, “why not”? I was not disappointed. The controls were kind of weird to get used to at first, but I got the hang of it. It’s charming and cute, but action-packed at the same time. I definitely recommend picking this one up if it’s on sale, or even if it’s not. If you’re a completionist and would want to beat this 100%, I genuinely wish you the best of luck. Seriously.

Robot Island
This is a really nice, warm game that lightened my night. I couldn’t explain why, but the general aesthetic, dialogue, and gameplay just put a smile on my face. I would have paid as much as $10 for these 30 minutes of my life. I really hope the developers make more games.
On a more personal note to the makers of Robot Island: Thank you. I needed this. I needed a bit of a wake up call, and a spike of happiness in my life. You help make the quarantine bearable.

There is one theme in movies, literature, games and all the other types of storytelling media which interests me most - how one person’s words and actions, even very small can influence other people’s life. Some of this influence is light, briefly noticeable, but sometimes it can shape other person’s future.
Robot Island, though a tiny project, is about small talking person into life’s decisions. I’ll be homest and say that I got the best ending for the first try and was somewhat scared to move the plot to worst ending (if there is any, I belive, there is). Graphics is charming and cozy, dialogues are well written, I wholeheartedly enjoyed Nim’s point of view on different things in human life - games, furniture, jewelery… Nim is written as a robot-companion should be - he has his own perception of things and he is also cheerful and exited. A lot of chances to melt your heart!

Redirection
Ever played Chu Chu Rocket? If not, you should. Great puzzler. If you have, this is pretty similar, with a couple of minor but significant changes that work really well. The grid-based movement is retained and your gameplay still entirely consists of placing limited obstacles on the level to guide little characters to the exit, but now they can turn in different directions depending on their colour, you can set obstacles to spawn on a timer and now levels are 3 dimensional instead of just being on a flat grid. To me, that alone adds a lot of depth to the gameplay.

Redirection is a cracking little isometric puzzle game. A glance at the screenshots will tell you all you need to know really. Place objects in the path of robots to guide them home. It’s simple and unfussy, with puzzles that are set to just the right difficulty. Many will have you stumped for a while, but none should have you quitting in frustration. And it’s been designed to make the player’s life easier. For example, you can rewind and tweak solutions without having to start all over again. You can rotate the view or view it top-down. There are no time limits or tedious requirements to play and replay levels over and over again. It’s clear that the developer wants you to progress and enjoy each puzzle to the full. I respect that. At the time of writing he’s still active on the forum; listening to feedback and making small adjustments. I respect that, too.

Rover Builder
(Oct 8)
A bunch of changes have been made. Generally building has improved greatly with symmetry working properly now, and the addition of namable crafts.
There could still be improvements like the ability to copy paste sections or copy paste part parameters, but id say this is easily worth your time if you like physics sandbox games now as you arent fighting the clunkiness as much.

Its obviously very ea, but that doesnt change the review does it. I cant recommend it in its current state, but il update if that changes.

I definitely enjoy playing this game; it lets me unleash my inner engineer. I have had a lot of fun building unnecessarily complicated rovers. Despite having only a handful of parts (or maybe because of it), Rover Builder is a deceptively challenging game.
However, there are a few bugs/issues that I have found rather detracting. Fixing these will greatly improve the game.
- Bearings don’t always load correctly when the simulation starts. Sometimes they disappear and sometimes steel beams coming off of the bearings are in the wrong orientation. In order to fix this, I have to go back to the builder, delete the bearings, and reinsert them. Sometimes even that doesn’t work.

STELLATUM
Good game, I very much enjoyed it.
As I see some reviews, I feel I should write something that ‘overcomes’ them all - well, I cant do that. But… This is finished game, balanced and polished. Long enough - maybe 14 hours to end story mode. Some levels are harder than others, not overwhelming, so game difficulty (adjustable: easy, normal, hard)is fine.
It brought me memories of Xenon II Megablast - my favorite shmup of all time - you have to even collect little balls from dead enemies, except story mode can’t be played through on one session (thankfully) and the music is not as good and…

I actually do recommend Stellatum, but it comes with an awfully long list of qualifiers to that and a lot of issues, so this is marked not recommended for those who are looking for the problems with the game as there may very well be dealbreakers in here for you. I could not in good conscience recommend it to just anyone who likes space shooters. If you don’t mind the things I’m about to mention though, then I can fully recommend it.
So first off, other negative reviews have stated that the component parts you need to craft items are really random. This is true, you will often be missing key pieces. As you get into later levels, more pieces drop, but more are needed, so this doesn’t help much. Fortunately, there is also a universal item drop that every enemy drops which lets you craft any component part you need. This isn’t mentioned anywhere in the tutorial and it’s not especially obvious on the crafting screen you can do this, but it means playing through each level once will typically give you enough parts to build anything you need, but you may need to craft specific parts at times.
