Bandapes is a rhythm fighting game where you control 3 types of monkey at a time. Each monkey has their own combos, and it is up to you to figure out what combos work best for you. I was incredibly lucky to find a 3 note combo for 3 monkeys - this meant I could attack nearly double speed to my opponents. After every match you will get a new monkey on your roster.
Once you figure out a combo and can do it reliably, start attacking people above you rank for quicker leveling up. Each level up gives you a new rank and hat you can equip.

Karateka is a 2012 tribute to 1984 game of the same name, made for Apple II and Atari. The premise is simple: evil shogun imprisoned a girl and you need to save it by a series of honor melee fights one-on-one with shogun’s minions.
The game is really short, the run from the start to end takes for about 25-50 minutes usually. And if you want to compare the tribute with the original, well, it’s 50/50%: some say the original is still top-notch and the remake is so-so, and some think that even the original was mediocre, and the remake is only made the concept worse, ‘cause times had changed for 30 years, and you can’t enter the same river as it was before. And you shouldn’t, some would add. Not me, though.

Pride Run
Pride run is an unapologetically gay, bright, and fun rhythm game with bangin’ music! I don’t play a lot of rhythm based games, I can probably count just on one hand how many I’ve played, but I really liked this, and the mode with the RTS elements really makes it stand out from other games of the genre.
As it says in the description, the game has two modes; Vanilla Mode and Play Hard Mode. Double entendre aside, Vanilla Mode is the standard rhythm-based part of the game. You lead a Pride parade through different levels based on real cities from around the world, smashing the arrow keys in time with the music. The bigger the combo you string together and the more accurate you are with pressing the keys or controller buttons, the more people will join the parade.

Pride Run, saw this game had a free weekend so I decided to try it. Overall there is a decent rhythm game here, couple that with the good art and the gameplay itself and you have an overall fairly queer experience. I would recommend the game to anyone interested in it, maybe not for the full twenty dollar price tag but I can say at least that the games not bad.

Hotel Transylvania Popstic
This music rhythm game is super fun and with the multiple difficulties it can be easy enough for a kid, or challenging enough for adults. There is a bit more variety than games like Audioshield with various power-ups, lasers to dodge etc. This is a great game to keep active with. We did a video with the Popstic add-on which works quite well:

Oh PopsticVR… Ever since I purchased my VIVE headset over 2 years ago, I have longed for quality beat/rhythm games that could bring me back to the good old days of rockin out on guitar hero or rockband. With my VR, I have gone from playing MC OSU, on to beat saber, and now this game, set in the perfect atmosphere of a Hotel Transylvania themed DJ Cruise. What a brilliant combination of a highly immersive and movement based VR game, with the fun and positive animated universe / characters of Hotel Transylvania (Can’t wait to see some of the many adorable monsters make their debut as a DJ to rock out with.) This game feels like a DDR for VR, and really focuses on precision and full body movement, over just swishing as quick as you can. It is a refreshing game in the VR Community that I definitely have a hard time putting down. I hope to see this Popstic platform grow and take on other awesome themes and styles in the future!

Smirkers
This is a happy simple game.
Through the transmission of happiness, more faces are full of smiling faces.
Game mode: use the mouse to pull the smiley face to make it touch other faces. After many collisions, all faces turn into smiley faces. After winning the game, you can enter the next level.
Features of the game:
The screen of this game uses a variety of Galaxy effects with a high degree of authenticity. In operation, players only need to control the mouse to put their own tactics into action. On the whole, it’s a work that tests the strategy of players. If you like, you can download it and experience it yourself.
Super Duper Party Pooper
A Rhythm Based Pooping Simulator
-
Ridiculous yet extremely fun and amusing gameplay which involves timing key presses with the beat of the music to eat various food. Eating food will increase how much you poop you can fling out of your butt at dancing people.
-
Every stage seems to add new interesting mechanics which makes the game more frantic and challenging as you progress.
-
Variety of unqiue and comical environments that take place in various parts of the world, all with unique foods and some rather funny dancing

The main reason I’m giving this game a positive review is because of the low price. Otherwise, I would probably give it a neutral review. I will dive into that in a bit. Basically this is a fun game where you eat and poop! Your goal is to hit food with awesome fun music in the background, and then use that poop fuel to poop! I love the idea, the fun behind it, and the play. But there are a lot of cons that really need to be fixed before I can give it a solid positive review.
Cons:
The game is super laggy. I would like to say its my comptuer but this is a game that isn’t high on graphics, and I’ve had less problems with higher quality games. Lagginess can cause you to lose a beat which is extremely frustrating.

SMUSH.TV - Competitive VR x PC Action
Really enjoyed getting into this game with some friends. Allows a great opportunity to showcase VR and makes me hopeful to see more interesting and unique ideas for the platform. Great variety in power-ups and song tempos provide a fantastic level of replayability, and as I have learned; a large deal of strategy. SMUSH.TV really ramps up as you and your friends put more time into it and learn some of the intricacies of the game. Highly recommend this game to anyone with a VR Headset.

i’ve only played one session so far but it was an amazing time. my experience? i played on my LIVE twitch stream with a friend controlling the blocks via remote play on Parsec. i also had beta access to some twitch integration features that allowed my twitch chat to become active players and participants via twitch chat. they were able to use !commands to activate special abilities that were working against me. it was a truely remarkable experience, a very fun time and i can’t wait to see where this game goes, as well as where this functionality pushes VR gaming into the future.
