Geometric Feel the Beats
Loved the game! Remembers me of Space Invaders, but at the same time its quite different (in a great way). I’ve been playing for hours, the music is great and the game has a good pacing. Hope the developers make some sort of player for the musics within the game, it would be awesome. I certainly recommend this game!

Have you ever wondered what would be the mashup of Space Invaders with Tron’s neon lights and some well chosen music to spice it?
That would be Geometric Feel the Beats!
And knowing that the game hasn’t a game over is a relief! Because you can just relax destroying the amount of geometric figures that appears on the screen, with a mix of trying to maintain the score multiplier and raise your ranking! =]
Oh! That’s not all!
The released coop mode is a lot of fun! I enjoyed tracing an strategy with a friend to try to maximize our score! xD

Saw that this Game is finally released, so i bought it for my new Video :)
You can see it later on Youtube, when i’m finish my editing.
To the Game:
Really cool rhythmic Game with some twists. I really like that it’s not instantly on an easy mode, but you rather start on a regular difficulty. The Music is awesome to listen to, what makes me more smile when doing mistakes then actual raging for my fails.
To the Developers (If you haven’t checked the Video):
Please make a Windowed Mode (Or Windowed without Borders Mode)

Fun game. I’m so glad it came to Steam I loved it when it was on Xbox Indie Arcade back in the day. Has a lot of replayability.
The price is great.
The game play is great.
The sound design is great.
Cannot go wrong with this game. If I were rich I would gift this game to everyone on my friends list.
EDIT: After this review they added a bunch of online Leaderboards so it got even better!

Remember Geometry Wars? It’s similar to that but with Music at its core instead of bright explosions. I kept my 360 solely for this game, thats how great it is. Years ago, I’d get home around twenty after four from work and fire this game up. It was easily one of my favorite ways to chill and wind down after a long day. The game isn’t deep, but it has a lot of depth. 3 basic modes, the last 2 being locked until you beat the first mode.
Gameplay
The game takes place in a 2d box. Your a little spaceship(that always reminded me of The Last Starfighter) and every enemy is a musical instrument. Some enemies only need 1 shot to kill(or trigger their instrument) while others, aka The Romulan looking ship (the rapper) requires numerous hits to kill. There’s numerous waves which are all different. Each wave presents more difficulties than the last. There’s changes in your weapons, rate of fire, enemy population and variety, and a lot more. Later in the game, some pretty crazy things happen, which are pretty exciting to encounter and play through. You only get 3 lives. Theres no restart from checkpoint. So getting to the end is an amazing feeling. Its very reminiscent experience to playing old games at the arcade. Theres definitely a lot of strategy and you’ll learn through your play though how to attack each wave. However, I always called them Shells(guitar), can and will ruin your day. They can go out of the play zone, and come back in. They only take one shot, but when youve been backed into a corner or running a wall and your trying to get out, having a shell sneak in behind you is frustrating. Especially when you seconds to the next wave.. It is very easy to get swarmed and overwhelmed so here’s a couple of beginner’s tips.

Polynomial 2 - Universe of the Music
Well that sure is a game that’s gonna scratch an itch long forgotten about by the industry at large.
Well has the industry ever considered this type of game with a great deal of respect to begin with ? That’s a question for another day.
Polynomail 2 might be only at the start of its existence and its adventure, but straight from the start we can see ourselves linking it to a long legacy of games made to get you “into the zone” .
If just like me you’ve cherished games such as Jeff Minter’s Tempest 2000 , Space Girafe, Gridrunner Revolution, or hell Tetsuya Mizuguchi’s Rez or Child of Eden or outside of the shooting game genre his feverfull Lumines series , The two Playstation 1 game oddities that were Internal Section and Vib Ribbon (a game that is still better experienced on its original hardware by the way) . Then if I tell you that Polynomial 2 is apparently setting itself for the very same kind of experience then you know what I am talking about.

Released six years after the original game I was pretty excited to see how Polynomial 2 had changed from the original.
The first game, The Polynomial, I initially found quite confusing and unintuitive, but after a little while of trying to get used to it I found that there was some fun to be had. There was a lot of personalization when it came to what arenas you could play in (and therefore what aesthetic you had), what animator type you used (which could change the tone a fair bit) and what sound visualizer settings you had. It wasn’t something I was particularly drawn in by, and didn’t put much time into but it was a unique game, which was nice to look at and something fairly chill to play.

Story Prologue
The atrocities committed in Turing City, Titan, created shock waves across the Nexus.
Theta Corporations home system had been infiltrated by Earth Purists, determined to purge the solar system from the ‘abomination’ of the Nexus Mind, The single most Intelligent Sentient AI mind born of the Singularity.
This event became a catalyst for the 1st Interplanetary war that ravaged through the Solar System.
For 30 years. Millions of souls perished into the cold vacuum of space.
It was to become forever known as ‘The Singularity War’
The Nexus Mind offered a gift in exchange for peace. Space time distortion technology for ALL humankind..
It allowed each faction to look beyond the confines of the Solar System for the first time.
Stability returned to Sol but inter faction differences remained and the scars of war cut deep..
The Singularity Trials was born from this pain.
Each Faction offered up their most competent warriors and commanders to compete in an annual tournament designed to honour their fallen and test their readiness for battle.
For even though the Singularity War was over, the Universe is Infinite… And completely Unknown…
Move It Up
Seems fine to me I guess. Probably better than most of the other countless Beat Saber clones that exist. This is a million times better than Beat Saber. Hell, now that I come to think of it, this game granted to be by the curator connect program (iirc) is the best rhythm game ever made since PaRappa The Rapper on the Sony Gamecast.
! It’s even better than Guitar Hero. https://youtu.be/9pnXRnch8oM

RhythmSlinger
Definitely a good future to this game, it does come with a bunch of different pistols and themes. Also this game definitely feels procedurally generated in that the ‘beatspheres’ respond to the type of music played or at least the bpm of the song. I got some different pop songs off youtube to play with this game and enjoyed the pacing of the beats.
The tricks definitely take some time getting used to with the different pistols, I’ve found the western (orange) pistols to be the easiest in setting up for the trickshots. I was playing this game in easy mode and getting the timing right on the white trickshot spheres was the most difficult because they last longer than the other beatspheres, but I’m guessing that it allows you extra time to perform the trick.
– Real player with 5.7 hrs in game
It has promise but the controls for tricks are pretty tough. For example theres a white sphere that appears for only 0.5s and doing a trick to shoot it can take longer than this. Doing in my mind same movement with hand didn’t always correspond to same heigh or duration of the trick and sometimes it just didn’t activate on index knuckles.

Space Channel 5 VR Kinda Funky News Flash!
It’s quite a literal nostalgia trip, but a criminally short one. I cleared the story in 42 minutes.
======================================================
Updated review after I nearly 100%ed the game:
It feels quite nice to dance alongside Ulala and hear her talk to me, and also to
! high-five Jaguar and Pudding near the end. The dance moves are also abundant in variety, going way beyond just directions and “chu"s. A few example unique commands include “barrier”, “nyan”, about 10 different “pose"s, and of course “Toyota” and “Honda”. Even the same command - such as “left” - can require a different action depending on whether you are dancing or dodging enemy fire. This means you have to use both visual and acoustic memory to get everything right. The dance battles are paced pretty well, with frequent but short breaks to ensure the player never gets too tired.

this game alone makes the hundreds of dollars it takes to get VR worth it. High-5ing Ulala after all the adventures we had been on is one of the happiest happiest moments in my life playing games. the music is every bit as great as the originals but still feels fresh. the english voice acting isn’t the greatest but i wouldn’t want it any other way, and even if i did there’s an option to switch to japanese. this game is going down as one of my favorite games of all time.
edit: after coming down from the high i can recognize this doesn’t really have much for people who aren’t fans of the space channel 5 already, and i wish it was a lot longer. not perfect but for what it is it’s incredible

Oscillatron: Alien Frequency
If you like games that can use your music library it’s a decent shooter. I like the little slow time effect it adds on my music. If your track is noisy and at full volume at all times it’s easy mode. The medkits blocking your bullets is an odd decision. For the low 90% off Summer Sale price I can recommend it.

Sixtar Gate: STARTRAIL
This game immediately got my attention, because it looks so good! It plays well. Expect some bugs while trying this out, it’s just got in EA, so that’s understandable.
There is only Travel Mode for now, which lets you freely play any song you want. Orbital Traveling and License Test are not playable for now. I guess it’s going to be some mission-based mode or something.
The choice of music in this game is pretty decent in my opinion. I like the simple yet aesthetically pleasing UI, which fits the colorful theme of the game. Every song covers all difficulties (Comet, Nova, Supernova, Quasar). The gear and note skins compliment each other really well.

As someone whose experience in rhythm games is limited to osu mania, etterna, and SDVX–this game is super rad and I"m excited for more songs.
Technically, it’s pretty much a 7k where the spacebar only shows up at certain moments, but the visual distinction of the 1st and 7th key allows them to make difficult songs without the patterns turning into a mess of notes. Though the highest I’ve gone in difficulty is only 10, so maybe if I ever make it to 14 maybe I’ll change my mind, but I honestly doubt it.
