Agent Klutz
I love this! The rhythm/music aspect of this game, made it super fun to play, as was the story shared in the chat between the characters, which gave a lot of personality and dimension to a 2d pixel art stick figure and made me want to know more about the person and adventures of Agent Klutz. It has also quite a bit of humor which made everything even more fun.

Yes/no is pretty harsh for this game, but the game has downsides. Ultimately, I can’t recommend it, but it isn’t a bad game.
Reasons:
1. It’s only one song. For the whole game. It works, because it’s spy music (the music in the trailer), and the game is under two hours to beat. Probably under 1 hour except I wanted to get 100% everything.
2. The controls are a little clunky. Every level, you can move on the first “beat” of the game, but not the second, then play actually flows on the third. Additionally, using the same button to aim, shoot, collect, move, turn, and enter can be frustrating — it’s all the LMB and where it’s placed can use the wrong command, causing a fall.

AGAINST
‘AGAINST’ is a rhythmic journey through crime-ridden streets and their phantasmagoric seamy side.
Dodge obstacles, run up walls - all the while picking off your enemies as the pounding music builds. Use your mind and muscle memory to banish evil and find answers.
Fierce songs combined with rhythmic combat with a gritty comics aesthetic make for a truly unique experience.
Detective Got a Gun
Slice the henchmen with your sword and mow them down with your gun - but do it rhythmically for points and pleasure. Throwing blades, brass knuckles and a whip will complement your arsenal.
Dark Comic-Style Graphics
We’ve paid loving attention to the dark and gritty comic book style. Set in 1930s America, the story of Dr. Vice’s terrifying ambitions is revealed through comic book cutscenes full of dimmed colors and frightening shadows.
Deadly Enemies and Dreadful Bosses
Dispatch villains to the beat as you make progress in the investigation. At the end of each chapter, take on the boss in sync with a musical climax.
Diverse Levels, Intriguing Narrative
Finish a complete storyline about the confrontation of Detective and Dr. Vice in 7 levels, all available in 3 difficulties. The chapters are set in different locations, each with its own unique touch.

Synthwave Burnout
Interesting control system. Unlike all races, here we are still given the opportunity to play as a driver without a car. I wonder what will happen if you run to the finish line without a car? It will be too long, but perhaps some secret awaits us. Personally, I haven’t tried it.

This game as a whole is quite attractive with its visual style. There are various tracks in the retro style of the 80s and 90s. Neon cities, relaxing music, palm trees at sunset. But one big problem is that the physics of the car is far from the best. Very strange behavior when driving, there is a feeling that we are driving on ice. One wrong move and the car is out of track. I hope this issue will be resolved once the game is fully accessible.

Moxie’s Lemon is a short cinematic platformer about pettiness and frustration, in the style of 2000s-era Flash games. Using mouse, keyboard, or gamepad, help Moxie get her lemon and achieve ultimate satisfaction! The goal of this game is to surprise you, frustrate you, and make you laugh.

Soundodger 2
Already I can see how much work has been put into this game- and it is a major step up from the flash version. It works amazingly, plays good, and most importantly: shows some very promising music. I recommend you check this out, and play through it.
I’m so excited to see the future of this game.

basically Soundodger+ but with a few very good changes:
-
it’s way smoother
-
additional tiny animations
-
3 new cool bullets
-
more cool options for the bullet object
-
10 different layers instead of one
-
prefabs
-
bpm snap
-
literally seven new effects
-
cool backgrounds and large theme creativity
-
player settings (which is cool for challenges)
-
overall less limits
and I like all of these additions!

Rogues Adventure
Rogues Adventure (Tiny Adventure?) is one of literally thousands of 2D retro pixel platformers infesting Steam. This one has you jumping around maze-like 2D puzzle levels collecting coins etc. The usual.
They chose to use obsolete retro pixel “art” as a substitute for contemporary PC graphics. It’s unclear if this is due to lack of budget or talent, regardless, the overall visual quality of the game is extremely low as a result. Resolution and controls are locked. These flaws push this game far below minimum acceptable standards for PC.

Arrest of a stone Buddha
Надежна лишь смерть, жизнь — нет.
К сожалению, простая и тривиальная игра Arrest of a stone Buddha

another incredible effort from Yeo. easily my favorite developer in the indie space.
[ TLDR: the game is awesome; the aesthetic is on point; the story is minimalist but effective; the gunplay, even with occasional quirks and bugs, is tight and exciting as Hell; the look and the sound (graphics and music) are beautiful - even my wife, while listening to me play, said, “i really love the music in your game”. buy this, and Yeo’s other game, Friends of Ringo Ishikawa, immediately. /TLDR]
––
Arrest of a Stone Buddha is lighter, somewhat less “meaty” title than the previous game in the developer’s catalog, The Friends of Ringo Ishikawa (a surprisingly poignant and emotionally deep exploration of a Japanese high school gang leader delinquent’s last year of high school, and all that entails). where Ringo Ishikawa was a melancholic treatise on growing up (and what it means for those who cannot or will not try), Arrest of a Stone Buddha is the next logical step in that emotional journey - the existential and monotonous routine of day to day life, where sometimes those days seem to run together, from one to another, and you find yourself just passing time until the Next Thing you have to do, never really engaging with anything in the present moment - just drifting, the world whirling by with your feet barely on the ground.
