Just Dance 2017
ºWhat to say to Just Dance 2017?,in short, is another bad game of Bugsoft.
-Control (phone) disconnects ALL TIME, there is not 40 seconds connected to the computer (sometimes).
-In addition to paying $ 49.99(R$ 99,99), you DO NOT HAVE ALL THE MUSIC RELEASED TO PLAY, some you buy with the Ubisoft currency, some you need to have Just Dance Unlimited.
-Just Dance 2017 looks Just Dance Now, ridiculous.
-I did not ask for a refund because I am hopeful that they will solve the problems of this game soon.

Pros :
-
One of few games in Steam that makes you do workout instead of sitting all day.
-
Many selections of songs (about 50 built-in + more than 200 from Just Dance Unlimited).
-
The respond and accuracy is very good (better than Just Dance Now).
-
You can pay for Just Dance Unlimited subscription either from Credit Card or Steam Wallet (I like the latter option, since I don’t have credit card). The subscription price is more or less same than Just Dance Now subscription price.
-
Many modes, so pretty high replayability (apart from that many songs selection).

LoveBeat
[14/10/2019] The game itself is still fun but I would give this a neutral review now in its current state, would reccomend playing with friends as the community is mostly philippines/spanish and russian these days who tend to stick to their own groups so unless you speak one of those languages, you can’t make friends really, many of them can also be ill mannered on here (having had many issues with them myself) very few here who are ok now. Having played the game since 13 January 2016 (release date) can definitely say its not the same as it used to be which is a real shame as I have had many fun times on here and met friends that I was very glad to of met.

Long review incoming.
Lovebeat, affectionately known as LB, is a rhythm game where you use your arrow keys and space bar on your keyboard. It also has DDR mat support. (Dance Dance Revolution). The game as a style that people would call dated, but it doesn’t age badly and fits the game fairly well. This game is completely free to own and play, with payments for cosmetic items.
When you first start LB, in order to not be overwhelmed, I would recommend not going past 4 star difficulty, and starting on the lower BPM (Beats Per Minute). If you find the lower BPM is too easy, then you can raise it, but don’t start off at 4 stars+ with 200+BPM unless you are a veteran with rhythm games.

Rhythm Knights
This being Dallen’s first rhythm game I’m actually quite pleased with how good it is. At launch this game had some problems, it seems like they’ve been fixed as of latest patch. There is a slight desync issue with a few tracks where the song and the button prompts don’t line up and the song ends before the notes do.
The ost is full of bangers. 7/10

Super Ledgehop: Double Laser
TL;DR: This game is an amazing experience, especially for $0.99. I highly recommend playing it again and again and again.
I discovered this game through YouTube videos of the soundtrack when I was trying to find inspiration for compositions. I thought the game was pretty neat, and decided to spend $0.99 on it. What really interested me was how “speedrunnable” the game seemed.
Let’s get into the core gameplay first. You run around in a top-down RPG-like environment while shooting enemies with bullets. Soon after starting, the game tells you that you can absorb enemy bullets to use as your own. This seems like a weird mechanic, but I can absolutely assure you that you will be needing this on more than one occassion. My first playthrough was extremely challenging to complete. I died countless times in boss fights, and even in the stages themselves. Note to self: Trying to speedrun the game on your first playthrough is a VERY bad idea.

Super Ledgehop was quite a fun experience.
The OST was great and I can’t wait to hear it again on more playthroughs. The fact that the beat of the OST ties into the gameplay was a really interesting concept to me, and I think it was pulled off well. The absorb and reflect feature was a welcome addition to the standard bullet hell concept. The gameplay really shines especially in the multiple boss fights throughout the game. You have to make use of the game’s mechanics to find out ways to take out your enemy efficiently and take the least amount of damage.

Super Duper Party Pooper
A Rhythm Based Pooping Simulator
-
Ridiculous yet extremely fun and amusing gameplay which involves timing key presses with the beat of the music to eat various food. Eating food will increase how much you poop you can fling out of your butt at dancing people.
-
Every stage seems to add new interesting mechanics which makes the game more frantic and challenging as you progress.
-
Variety of unqiue and comical environments that take place in various parts of the world, all with unique foods and some rather funny dancing

The main reason I’m giving this game a positive review is because of the low price. Otherwise, I would probably give it a neutral review. I will dive into that in a bit. Basically this is a fun game where you eat and poop! Your goal is to hit food with awesome fun music in the background, and then use that poop fuel to poop! I love the idea, the fun behind it, and the play. But there are a lot of cons that really need to be fixed before I can give it a solid positive review.
Cons:
The game is super laggy. I would like to say its my comptuer but this is a game that isn’t high on graphics, and I’ve had less problems with higher quality games. Lagginess can cause you to lose a beat which is extremely frustrating.

Dashy Square
Kinda hard to say if I wanna recommend this game or not.
I bought Dashy Square cheap on sale a few years back, just because it looked like a fun platformer.
Now, I’ve spent countless hours in Geometry Dash, and you can say, apart from the graphics and a few game mechanics this game isn’t really anything different.
Worst thing about Dashy Square: annoyingly weird hitboxes that feel kinda random sometimes. If you’re going for 100%, good luck on the harder levels.
In conclusion: if you like Geometry Dash and the Impossible Game, you’re gonna have a few hours of fun with this, but don’t expect too much.

Given the success of Geometry Dash and The Impossible Game this specific subgenre of simplistic action, arcade platformer indie games have become increasingly popular. They are relatively simple to design and so many people believe that they have what it takes to develop one – thinking that not much skill is involved in their game design and implementation. However, for every game that we succeed we see many more fail to come close to delivering a cohesive and enjoyable gaming experience. Thankfully Kastriot Sulejmani is an intelligent game designer and has developed a game in Dashy Square that is not only cohesive and enjoyable but also difficult – which a very deft touch and in my opinion an important one – and addictive.

Hacker’s Beat
I was looking for a different kind of rhythm game and this might be it. From watching the gameplay videos of this game, it got me pretty hyped. The fact that the edit mode just came out just get me even more excited to play this game.
The core gameplay is alright, I’ve certainly had some fun playing some of the charts but I think there’s something wrong or missing from the game. For example, after exiting the result screen I was greeted by random white triangles on a black background while the music’s still playing. I thought “Oh, something cool is happening” so I started to mash the keyboard for a few minutes only to realize it has crashed.

Wow! After my very first playthrough I found myself inspired enough to write a positive review. The music is phenomenal! The visual a bit on the trippy side, and it’s a good idea to preview the songs before trying them out in-game, to get a feel for what they may throw at you. It’s not easy, and that’s not a bad thing…as it poses a good challenge that gets easier with familiarity. This game is in my favorites playlist already…so with less than a half-hour played at the time of reviewing Hacker’s Beat. it’s safe to say my playtime will grow rapidly. This game may not be for everyone, but it sure is for me!

Beat Saber
Takes a while until it clicks and you enter a trance and beat that song that has taunted you for weeks. You can do an easy song and swing super hard or a tough song and enter max focus. Counts as exercise.
Extremely easy to mod with one click song downloads so make sure you get the custom songs as they play way better. If you’re only doing the default songs you’re barely playing.

Do yourself a favour and don’t play this “game” even if you get it for free or something.
It’s the worst game I played so far this whole year…

Dance Collider
Game provided via the Steam Curator program.
Dance Collider is a VR rhythm game.
There are a couple of games of this genre already so how does Dance Collider stand among them? I believe it’s one of the best. I’m having a lot of fun while playing it, unlike other rhythm games moves here actually make sense which makes it even more enjoyable. While in Beat Saber you are forced to make random erratic movements trying to hit the boxes(let’s face it people who make custom songs there have no idea what they are doing), here in Dance Collider your movements are much like dancing. You are punching nodes by the rhythm of a song/tune. The visuals are wonderful, not too much on the eye and not too little. Despite me not being fan of dubstep and modern electronic music I do think the sound effects and the music included are excellent to get your groove on. What makes this even better is that you choose characters which act as your opponent. Each of them has unique style and has different tunes. Movement is fluid with no tracking issues.

TL;DR: For an already small selection of titles Dance Collider is a must have title for any rhythm game enthusiasts that want to get into a cyberpunk themed dance battle.
The review:
If you want to find out what “you’re yoghurt” is continue reading.
The Street Fighter of dance battles set in a variety of distinctive arenas that give off a strong cyberpunk vibe. Each character has a unique musical style and special move to keep you moving. The idea of a dancing off vs a character that taunts you occassionally gives you a better sense of purpose rather than just dancing alone in a game racking up points.
