PolyClassic: Wild
This is not a classic shooter, but there is clearly something interesting in it. Although at first it was very difficult for me to pass even the first level.

It turned out to be quite a complex action game. I’m sure that this kind of hardcore will put off some players. I, on the other hand, liked the game, both the graphics and its simplicity. PolyClassic: Wild is a good time-killer, I recommend it to those who like high complexity in games.

Soundodger 2
Already I can see how much work has been put into this game- and it is a major step up from the flash version. It works amazingly, plays good, and most importantly: shows some very promising music. I recommend you check this out, and play through it.
I’m so excited to see the future of this game.

basically Soundodger+ but with a few very good changes:
-
it’s way smoother
-
additional tiny animations
-
3 new cool bullets
-
more cool options for the bullet object
-
10 different layers instead of one
-
prefabs
-
bpm snap
-
literally seven new effects
-
cool backgrounds and large theme creativity
-
player settings (which is cool for challenges)
-
overall less limits
and I like all of these additions!

I’ve changed my review and recommendation. Updated and original reviews below.
[Updated review]
I switched from Not Recommended to Recommended after experimenting with different audio files in Free Play mode. With lossless audio sources and synthesized tracks, it is very possible to determine key strokes based on the beats of the music. This doesn’t work as well with audio files that are too compressed, or that were taken from a lossless source that hasn’t been remastered (e.g. a non-remastered CD of music from the 1980s). I still urge the dev(s) to add the highlighting option that I mentioned in the original review. Also, the Arena Mode still needs remappable keys and a better explanation of its mechanics. However, for US$9.99, this is worth a buy.

Firing Vibes
Firing Vibes is a 2 vs 2 multiplayer FPS that combines heavy vertical gameplay with a little bit of rhythm.
Instead of classical weapons like assault or sniper rifles in Firing Vibes you choose a melody. And each melody provides a unique damage pattern. Some melodies are quicker or slower in their rhythm, that leads to different types of gameplay.
Set in a minimalistic Scifi world. Your character has two special skills which allow to go about everywhere and master the fully vertical environment. The first one is a unique climbing ability enabling you to move on walls as easily as if you were on the ground. The second is the ability to spawn cubes and walls and create new pathways.
KEY FEATURES
-
2 vs 2 Online Multiplayer - Dedicated servers in Europe, North America and East Asia (and more later).
-
Shoot with music - Your only weapons are music based lasers.
-
Create news pathways - Spawning or destroying cubes helps you to move through the level in new and interesting ways.
-
Climb everywhere - Your climbing ability combined with the cubes you can place make you free to go about everywhere you want.
Pistol Dancer
Twos hands two guns!
Pistol Dancer is a shoot’em up style rhythmic FPS. Initially, it’s a home-collaboration kind of project developed for my daughter to get her interested in VR but it’s gradually evolved into a casual/party game that many of us enjoyed with.
Press the trigger alongside music beats to unleash devastating power to the enemies.
Your enemies are little virus bits trying to reach the heart, and you are the last line of defence!
Shooting Arena VR
I play tons of VR FPS games, and this one is great because of a leaderboard you must constantly go for, I love the game because of the adjustable barrel angle and fun levels. Although reloading is quite different, it honestly helps with practice getting your sights on the target quickly. Honestly I am a very picky person when it comes to VR shooting games and this is one of my favorites of all time, it’s got TONS of room for personal improvement and AMAZING arcade modes to really improve aim and speed. It can also be quite competitive for getting those leaderboards, something I looove.

i have played alot of shooting range games and this is by far the most fun yet.controls are tight and simple,no complicated reloading just put your arm down to your hip to reload.exactly the sort of arcade vr shooting range i wanted

Pandemic Panic!
It’s intense. You don’t get time to prepare, the enemies start spawning after seconds, and you need to get moving.
The enemies are just the right amount of bullet spongey to be difficult in groups larger than 6 or 7, but not soft enough that you can just swat away one or two.
The soundtrack is an energetic synth which I would consider using for a pleasant alarm in the morning.
The chaos in this game gives it hours of play time just in trying to learn the map’s layout, and the common spawn points of the pills you need to collect to keep going.
