Orion: The Eternal Punishment

Orion: The Eternal Punishment

Not a bad game has a nice retro feel to it,Controls are spot on,aiming and movement are very responsive. There are somethings i felt could use some improvement like when coming off of the hook shots it feels like you’re going to fall off the cliff side and in some cases i did indeed fall off,the enemy AI could use some major tweaking witch in turn would make the gun play more fun and last but certainly not least when you shoot your crossbow sometimes it shoots and sometimes not. In closing it’s fun,it’s free and if you like Fps games Retro or otherwise then it’s worth checking out.

this game isn’t bad, but it is a bit of a hassle to play. there is only one level as of my play time and that one level is designed in a way that makes sure you don’t know where to go. it’s easy to feel stuck or like you’ve done something wrong when playing. the end is very abrupt and just replays the same level without any satisfying conclusion to your half hour effort to find the exit

Authentic small two-color point-and-click adventure game in retro 80s style.

This game can be a real gem for you if you value minimalism and retro atmosphere with a non-linear sci-fi adventure with less graphics and more story.

spacenet is a retro-style sci-fi point & click that gave me asteroids, elite and similar vibes, but there’s no combat, resource management (except money, see below) or anything like that here, just you in your spaceship wandering around, talking, puzzling and hacking in a non-linear fashion.

As its two predeseccors, it is a nice simplistic adventure and survival game. It is a little bit more complex. I enjoyed it very much and hope for more in the future!

Tanglewood

Tanglewood

Tanglewood is a top-notch gaming experience.

In this 16-bit platformer (actually built, coded and assembled on original developer tools for the Sega Megadrive) you take control of Nymn, a fox-like forest critter, and navigate levels with puzzles, skill-based jump sequences and ruthless enemies in.

First and foremost there has to be some recognition of the game’s construction – whilst there are many games that aim for a ‘retro’ feel and only achieve pastiche, Tanglewood is authentic and benefits hugely from this fact; this is no mere nostalgia trip with nods to old games – Tanglewood is a strong game in and of itself, not a game propping itself up against an older ‘style’ (though fans of the 16 bit era of platformers will certainly feel a lovely sense of familiarity when playing).

Tanglewood is a puzzle platformer that takes the game ethos of old and sprinkles in modern design elements to create a game that I would consider to be what the mascot platformer might have become if the 32bit era hadn’t come along and made everything all 3D and terrible. Made for the Sega Megadrive/Genesis and ported to PC, the Steam build offers everything the console version does, plus more.

The game starts you off with a cut scene to set the mood before gently introducing you to its world. You soon find your first firefly, the collectables in Tanglewood, before leading you on to your first puzzle. There’s a gap you can’t jump. How to cross it? If only Nymn could glide. Well, there’s a yellow Fuzzl nearby and a nest pretty close to it. Why not roll it into the nest? Oh, now I’ve turned yellow and can glide. How handy! Things get far more complicated later on, but the puzzles are never unfair. Even for someone new to the genre.

My son and I loved this game - nice relaxing retro platformer - keep em coming!

Super neat that the artifact statues were old video game characters like manic miner and, i think, dizzy. Ending was also classic…

Really nice jumping platform 8 bit era inspired game. If you remember that era well, then this game will be right up your street. Nothing more to be said.

Dismantled 2

Dismantled 2

Dismantled 2 is a survival horror game. It will see new characters involved in the story, 4 years after the events of the first game.

This sequel is also inspired by the old Resident evil games, The Suffering games and by old B-movies. It is built in the Unity 3D engine and is also in first person perspective.

Please be aware that my game is full of shocking content and also contains nudity.

Dismantled 2 aim for a N64 style esthetics, and will be as gory and disturbing as the first game.

HELPLESS

HELPLESS

(Very) short game about going through an abandonned hospital, mostly about finding an object to allow you go through to the next area, and hide from the main enemy.

Well done and nice to play, but little replay value.

I really enjoyed this one. Sound fx and music were on point with the creepy factor and I like how you seemed “Helpless” when trying to escape at the end. It made for some great content as well (except for the copyright claim). EDIT The Copyright Claim was released - Great first game! https://youtu.be/HKgInJur_2I
