Watch the 2nd video on the store page; you’ve now seen 80% of this game’s content, except for the buggy as fuck ‘reversed controls’ ice section in the last level. It’s 3 demo levels that you can finish in 20 minutes or less while meaningless achievements pop up.
The Mirror’s Edge style level is amusing since wall running is spammable, though.

Welcome Back
Loved this game! Pretty retro art style which grows in complexity as we “evolve” into more complex lifeforms. There’s so many details about it that show that the creator spent a lot of time polishing the game’s edges. Although it seems simple, Welcome Back surprises us as we accept its invite to search for secrets.
That many secrets to uncover make the game to feel magically alive, as we dialogue with it, asking questions of “what if” and receiving “yes"s as answer.
I strongly recommend that you play it to the very end, going after each of its nine trophies. The last one is so mindblowing (the challenge itself and the reward) ✨✨✨

Short game in which you play a recently deceased gamer who gets a second chance by god. However, after getting on god’s bad side, the gamer’s turned into an ameba and has to overcome five evolution stages to finally reincarnate as a human. Each stage is made out of 4-5 puzzles where you need to reach the golden star.

1. Stage plays similar to Kirby. You need to swallow enemies and use them to break rocks or eliminate sparkling enemies.

2. Stage has you controlling two snails (one with WASD, the other with arrow keys) that need to work together by pushing or turning a certain object.

Taking a Cue From Coin-Op – Utilizing tried and true mechanics that helped define the shmup genre, That Tiny Spaceship’s gameplay returns to the days where forward was the only way to go and getting a power-up opened up new tactical options. Warp from one side of the playfield to the other, just like in the arcade titles of yesterday.
A Few Seconds Can Feel Like A Lifetime – Each mission in That Tiny Spaceship might only be a couple of minutes long but when a flaming asteroid or enemy fighter comes barreling towards you with little notice, reaction time can make the difference between placing a high score and being another piece of space debris.
5 Levels – Travel from the narrow spaces of an asteroid field to a battle for survival within orbit of a blazing sun in That Tiny Spaceship’s 5 campaign missions. Each mission features a unique locale, unique gameplay mechanics and challenges that build upon the foundations established in prior missions.

Physics of Fun – Every moving object, hazard, ship and projectile utilizes a built-in physics simulation. While this does not provide the “pixel perfect” accuracy that earlier shoot’em ups made their name on, it provides a unique sense of movement and flow not found in similar games.
Full Controller Support – Now fully supports the Xbox One gamepad from the first menu right through to your last pulverizing explosive death when an asteroid careened into That Tiny Spaceship.

The Odd Neon Void
The Odd Neon Void is a surreal experience of a… game, you are told nothing about how to play other than through trial and error, the bugs can teleport to “nothing personal kid” you, and the ending breaks the game to the need of alt f4. Ok I’ll leave a short review since this game seems new and I think it needs it.
First of all it is not really worth the full €2,39 price, I’d suggest to buy it when it is below €1. It is a very basic maze game with three levels:
The first one is the one I’d call the real “Neon Void”, with vaporwave colors and the highest number of monsters
The second one is a forset, which I couldn’t rellay explore that much since I found the exit pretty quickly
The third one reminds of a sunset for its colors and I guess it is when you get to choose wether you get the bad or de good ending depending on your actions in this level.

Setting: different 20th century themed scenes, both famous and common, to be travelled by the player
Difficulty: 0/10 – you progress, no matter what. 9/10 if going for achievements
Length: about an hour for a single playthrough
Mode: singleplayer campaign, replayable “vignettes” (=scenes)
The positive aspects:
- different scenes from 20th century’s history, such as manned spaceflight, mignight air raid, boarding a helicopter in a war territory

Full Disclosure: I won this title during the Steam Winter 2014 Auction (look at the braggart) and basically got it for free.
Being up front, I would wait for this title to go on sale and pick up the Deluxe.
I love WTF/Mind destroying games/experiences. So when I saw the trailer for this I got very excited.
The first time playing through is somewhat magical, you’re in complete wonderlust. Meanwhile, your constantly dancing with the sweet release of death from drowning from your own blood as it pours from your eroded eye and ear holes into your big dumb gaping maw.
