Undelivered

Undelivered

England, the 1920s. Provincial town called Fate. Bored already? Don’t judge the book by it’s cover!

Plunge into the swirl of events and you’ll realize that Fate is one of the most mysterious and dangerous places you’ve ever heard of!

Where is the local cutie who has suddenly disappeared? What is the doctor’s secret? Is the military test range near the town really dangerous? What are the crazy chemists doing in their laboratories? And what can an ordinary postman do once he suddenly finds himself in the thick of it all?

Undelivered is a detective quest where you have to find the answers to all these questions and decide what to do next!

… It started as a joke or little mischief… Mike, a young postman, learned to open the envelopes so skillfully that no one could ever notice that he reads the letters. At first it was a funny spy game, but then something went wrong. One letter told Mike that the only son of Mrs. Wilson, a lone librarian, had tragically died. Mike decided not to deliver the letter to the poor woman. So Mrs. Wilson didn’t get to know the news. But the postman himself realized that now the fate of the town inhabitants indirectly depends on him…

Mike can’t stop reading the letters, but the more he learns about his neighbors, the stronger he feels that something needs to be done… Because too many dangerous secrets have come out, and now hundreds of people’s lives are at stake.

In this game you will:

  • Watch the life of the city and its inhabitants;

  • Deliver mail and communicate with different people;

  • Solve mysteries and make difficult decisions.

When meeting a “dangerous” letter, you can deliver it to the addressee or not deliver it at your own risk. You can also give it to someone who, in your opinion, will help you deal with the problem mentioned in the letter. However, remember: the road to hell is paved with good intentions!

Coffin Mall

Coffin Mall

i usually think i have pretty low standards for indie 1 dev spooky games but this is easily the most underwhelming one i have played, its essentially a car dodging simulator. atleast the ps1 graphics aesthetic is interesting and seems like its not an asset flip game. also yes you can pet odysseus

Real player with 1.1 hrs in game

I had fun with Coffin Mall, while the game was very short, it gives you an experience similar to that of the final scene in Christine but in a shopping mall with no bulldozer to protect you. I’m sure there’s going to be more content added later, the extras said something about a bonus game coming soon.

The atmosphere is beautiful, from the PS1 style graphics, to the dark synth wave track that plays once the action kicks in, I managed to survive long enough to hear the melody that pays homage to Christine’s theme. Nothing says “pissed off killer car” like a dark synth track. The weather accented everything nicely too, the thunder and lightning sometimes fired off as the car struck the bench I was hiding behind.

Fatec´s Out

I liked very much. It’s funny and cool.

Steel Sword Story

Steel Sword Story

Steal Sword Story is a fun little action platformer with pixelated retrographics. The gameplay, enemies and level design are all reasonably well done but you won’t come across anything new or innovative. It is a very casual game, and you do not need a lot of practice to beat it. As soon as you figured out the attack patterns of the various enemy types and bosses, your second playthrough of SSS is a proverbial walk in the park. After you get the ‘dash’ ability which allows you to dash through enemies without getting injured, you can actually quickly race through every level (except the boss fights obviously) without killing even a single opponent and taking zero damage – but you won’t collect any gems though, so this is not recommended and not how the game is meant to be played.

This is a very nice little game.

It won’t blow your socks off, but it was exactly what I needed. I had been playing Legends of Eisenwald, which was a long, dense, and often frustrating game, so I wanted something lighter - which Steel Sword Story provided!

I played 1001 Spikes a few months ago and I think that is one of the best platformers out there. It was very difficult, but always fair. It was very demanding, though - you could easily spend 20 minutes on a 20 seconds level later on.

Still, that game left me perfectly satisfied after beating the main campaign with all the collectables.

FACE A DYING EARTH

The year is 2089. For decades past, the availability of natural resources has declined to the point of societal collapse. Nations are governed by corporations, and the planet is on the brink of an ecological collapse that will leave nothing left alive.

During mankind’s last breath arises a shadowy network of conspirators, bent on saving the human species using any means necessary – even if it means sacrificing all it means to be alive.

Follow the trails of a mysterious organization across a dying Earth, in an atmospheric singleplayer adventure of 11 locations to explore.

FIND YOUR OWN PATH

As you explore vast facilities, combat is not the only path to success. You may find that often the best approach is to avoid hostile engagement altogether and instead find creative solutions to reach your goals.

Explore alternate routes, hack computers and security systems, discover lost logs, keycodes and passwords, and use every tool at your disposal to reach your objectives.

BATTLE FOR SURVIVAL

Leave a wake of destruction as you travel across mysterious installations left behind by the ominous Contingency Accord, and turn their own weapons against them as you trigger facility-wide reactor core meltdowns.

As you traverse vast, deadly facilities, you will come across powerful armaments, experimental weapons, and secret equipment.

Use an arsenal of unique weapons and other combat equipment, as you battle both security robotics and the remnants of experiments gone horribly wrong.

DEFINE YOUR HUMANITY

You are an anomaly. Waking up in a cold storage pod with little recollection of your past, you find yourself far less human than you remember – and far more of a machine.

With strange but powerful new abilities, you are forced to reconcile with your new self, and understand what it means to be alive.

Upgrade yourself with over 100 game-changing cybernetic implants as you explore levels, defeat enemies, and gain experience.

Brrrainz: Feed your Hunger

This game is Brutal!! But oh so satisfying. It is not a game you can just grab your horde and mindlessly attack enemies. It’s a game in which you literally need to plan your attack. It took me forever to pass the second level. Mistaking it for a casual game I attempted what I call “Lazy Playing”. I just kept dying x_x

However, when I started putting a little bit of thought into it I was able to finally advance and then some! The gameplay is pretty refreshing and I’m enjoying it a lot! Highly recommended!
