Space Codex
Game Summary:
The simple way to summarize this game is that it’s a classic arcade space shooter, to the extent your objective is to obtain a high score. Doing so is as simple as building up a point multiplier by killing enemies and staying alive. Unfortunately, there’s nothing more to the game than that. Except for an option to play the game where the screen is almost entirely black, with only a small radius visible around your ship, there are no other game modes or features to play around with. I suppose this dark mode option does grant some novelty factor, but it doesn’t show much versatility or creativity on the developers' part. It makes me disappointed that their innovation stopped there, as they could have expanded with a swath of different options and features that could be turned on or off to change up the gameplay and difficulty. That could have come off as gimmicky, but since it’d all be optional, it wouldn’t hurt the game to have more variance.

Introduction
Space Codex is a Retro, Arcade top-down shooter which deprives its gameplay time to waves of enemies hoarding in upon you. Plays like a retro arcade game, with the graphics and sound really suiting the mood of the game nicely.
Gameplay
This game is set out to be a Retro Arcade inspired game, and it exceeds that expectation really well. It implements a few of the mechanics that you would expect to be in a retro arcade game. These mechanics are setting high scores, being able to collect powerups, multiple choice of what ship you want to choose to be ect. The game, for me, set high standards when I first opened up the game.

Football Club Simulator - FCS #21
The game looks nice, it is a game which shows the football simulation witha a personal touch. It’s certainly has some bugs and that can disturb when playing. But it looks thaht they are solving and fixing the bugs.
Also, it’s another philosophy of the game and you see a tendency to set the guidelines themselves and create a model of game that is enjoyable and entertaining.
My opinion is that this game is seen potential and can become a very good game. We have to see the evolution of the game, that have a lot of work.

Verdict: 7/10
If you find it interesting to start with a very low grade team, and improve its economics and quality through time, this is the game for you.
PrivateJoh’s personal views:
Disclaimer: I am actually reusing a review of a game that has disappeared from Steam Store, which funnily enough is this one with a different name.
Manage your favorite football club, or just raise a small local club to dominate Champions League.
First of all, I have been a fan since the early days where the game was delivered in two 3.5 disks, so my review is probably biased. I should also say that I never play the matches, since the simulation part is what really attracts me. So, I cannot really comment on the arcade part of the game.

Frak!
Addictive, frustrating, infuriating fun! FRAK! is a classic BBC Micro game and this reboot brings it up-to-date for modern machines. Expect fiendish puzzles, twitch gameplay, much swearing (on your part), and that warm, satisfying feeling when you finally beat a level. And that’s on the Zero mode!
Lots of modes, lots of challenges, lots of fun! This is the way retro reboots should be done!
*** Full Disclosure ***
I, and some other members of the Stardot community, helped the author bug test this game. I have not been solicited to write this review, nor am I getting any remuneration for doing so. These are my genuine thoughts about the game. Clear? Clear!

A bit of gaming history, I was intrigued when I saw this come out on Steam. I remember spending many hours playing the original on my Commodore 64 in 1985.
The original BBC Micro version had 3 levels. The version on the Acorn Election had 9 and the one I remember (for the Commodore) had 6. It’s a pity this version on Steam mimics the BBC Micro one with just 3 levels. Maybe there’ll be an expansion to 9 levels - would like to see that because, for example, I remember enjoying the ice-themed level :)

Beware! The steam version of this game is VERY glitchy! Crashed first attempt to load, finally loaded, screens go black between menus, screens resize between levels, pausing causes jerky framerate to the point of becoming unplayable, etc. I like these kind of games, and the levels I did get to play arefun, but this just doesn’t work smoothly at all.

Brick Blaster
Really fun game…. But I wish there were more levels and the game was a little more challenging. The endless arcade doesn’t feel like it gets more challenging and you play 30+ mins without losing a life and just wanna quit because it probably actually will never end. Once you get going and get 6 lives, you probably won’t lose any of them and it seems impossible to die. I got all achievements very quickly. So I DO recommend the game because it is relaxing and fun but once you blow through the levels, achievements, and endless arcade, there’s nothing left for you to accomplish or work towards. It would have been nice to have more levels and more challenging achievements and arcade.

An enjoyable, mostly easy game with different kinds of levels and tasks. This is much more interesting than any brick-breaking game I have played before. The relaxing ambient-style music suits the game.

Crazy Invader ShootEm Down
Fun arcade game that brings back old memories of the old 80s games. It’s fairly tough until you get the hang of turning on/off the shield and firing, since both are limited and require recharging. Definitely a lot going on in this game but feels pretty good as you slowly master it.
Not a fan of the comic sans font but you’ll enjoy this game if you like retros and makes for a great afternoon of play.

Like the retro space invader but there is an actual earth that could explode if you’re not doing your job right!
You orbit around your earth, shoot the invaders, evade bullets and hold up a shield to protect your earth from getting hit.
It sounds easy but it’s not. Your shield can run out of energy and your gun can overheat. So you have to time your every move right.
Nice music with chiptune sound effects. Brings you back to the 80s (or 70s).

Like the old school missile defence game.
Increasing difficulty as you progress through the levels.
Nice grapics that can really trick you sometimes with smaller asteroids emerging from the blast.

Minesweeper Ultimate
edit: chording got patched in, as well as a timer toggle and a non-resizable windowed mode without resolution options, so it’s useless.
minesweeper ultimate is yet another attempt to make people pay for what they can already play for free pretty much anywhere. nothing inherently wrong with that, nobody’s forcing anyone to buy it, and if it’s done well or has a unique selling point, even better.

I really like this game, for people who like minesweeper or are new to it, i would definitely would recommend this game. A bug occurred where i pressed a single one and got a win on hex mode beginner, but overall i would recommend this game.
