PAC-MAN™ Championship Edition DX+
This game is absolutely bonkers, in a good way though.
PAC-MAN Championship Edition DX+ is like normal PAC-MAN, only the map is rotated 90 degrees, there are tons of ghosts instead of just 4, and it’s a race to eat as many dots, food and ghosts as possible before the timer runs out.
The game is split into several boards with different structures, dot and ghost positioning, and paths to follow. None of them really feel any harder than the others, but they’re all difficult in their own way. The DLC boards are a fun addition, but I wouldn’t recommend you buy them separately from the game, since it’s cheaper to buy the full Big Eater pack and just get all of it at once.

It is time to munch, chomp, and manoeuvre your way through another series of mazes with Bandai Namco’s notorious pelt eating ghost munching spherical maze racer, Pacman in “PAC-MAN Championship Edition DX+”. This game is not your original Pacman but a new fast pace version that will keep you on the edge of your seat every step of the way.
Pac-Man Championship Edition DX+ is an arcade score attack game that takes its inspiration from the original Pelt Muncher that was first released in 1981. This time around though Pac-man has been turned into a speed run crushing dynamo taking on hoards of ghost that are determined to get in your way as you try to climb to the top of the leader. With that being said, lets begin talking about the gameplay.

Nice twin stick shooter, with different map types. good although short sound track. tries to have rogue lite elements like ship upgrades, and while they are cool, i was able to unlock all of them right away (with the exception of 1 tier3 unlock). it almost feels as if those unlocks should just be like PowerUp drops during the game. but overall so far i have had a #Funtime

Great game; this game gets more and more dynamic as you progress through the levels. It can get quite intense but the relaxing sound-track adds a nice balance. It seems to be well optimized for PC because it runs smooth and takes little storage. My favorite level so far is 10; maneuvering around the asteroids is good fun and makes a great scenery. I look forward to exploring the rest of the levels and arcade mode.

Centipede: Recharged
Fantastic! I’ve loved Centipede since the old days in the arcades and still like to play it occasionally on Mame. There was a good reworking of it on the Xbox 360 and I even occasionally considered digging out the old console just to play it. But this surpasses them all! It’s the best retro-reworking I’ve seen, adding some nice touches (like the power-ups) and taking out some of the nastier elements of the original (fast spiders rushing in without warning from the sides).
This is really well done and I would love to see similar reworkings of some of the other arcade greats (Defender, Robotron, Joust).

Centipede is my all-time favorite arcade game. I built my own arcade cabinet, with a classic trackball, just to play it. So once I found out about this game, I had to try it. I will admit, I was put off by the large amount of negative reviews, but the game is at a fair price, so I figured I would try it out, and I’m happy I did.
First off, just to be clear, this game is NOT the classic Centipede from 1981 and the game clearly doesn’t try to be. I think the problem the reviewers are having with this game is they are expecting the classic game, but doesn’t make a lot of sense to me because the promotional images and footage make that clear. If you want the classic arcade, go play it. This game is not going to give you the same classic experience.

Game Machines: Arcade Casino
this was fun with beer and weed,
reasonabaly short but reasonably priced, it goes good with any
sort of cannabis or alcoholic beverage.
then it just ends cause a well, its only 1.99

This game takes me back to being a little kid visiting the Atlantic City boardwalk. At the time they had “casinos” like these with fun games to play for tickets or tokens that could be cashed in for prizes. It probably cost my parents a small fortune to win items that would be dollar store quality today, but I loved the experience.
So step off the boardwalk into a tiny casino arcade. The coin pusher was my absolute favorite, and realistic to what I remember. I really like the overall feel and physics of that one. It feels the most authentic. Things like the stacker machine would have been after my time, but that was also realistic, at least compared to the ones I’ve played in VR.

MAZEMAN
Hit the halfway mark. Pretty entertaining game for only 5$. Worth the price.
Basically crypt of the necromancer not if is was not a rythm game and your characters always running. Game gets really challenging as levels go on.

I played this game for quite a while hours how could I not like it? Here comes the weird part I did for a bit. However, I am not recommending this game because quite frankly there seems to be a gross lack of effort by the dev of this game leading to the point of it being borderline unethical… also the bugs and oversights. So long story short just get a different game, it will play better and you won’t have to deal with this mess.

Slab is a rather mediocre 50 level Arkanoid clone offering nothing new whatsoever. The objective is to use a paddle and ricochet a ball around the screen until you demolish all the destructible bricks on that said level and then move onto the next and do the same.
There are a handful of power ups that will help you in that task by granting either multi ball, the ability to shoot bricks, speed decrease, paddle enlarger, ball enlarger, score increase and extra life. The extra lives seem to be capped at 5 and to get another you will need to lose a life first. On the flip side there are negative power-ups that you will also need to avoid obtaining. Mainly paddle shrink, score decrease and instant death.

Atari Vault
This review is going to be an unusual one as I’m actually going to write about a game that’s ate up a lot of my ingame time so far. I speak of Atari’s 1982 Gravitar.
I picked up Gravitar in passing whilst trying the Atari Vault and my first reaction likely followed many people’s, “This… is really hard. I think I’d rather play something I’m familiar with like Centipede or Missile Command instead.” This stayed true until I crossed paths with the Atari 2600 version of Gravitar. “I remember Gravitar was hard, I’ll see how the 2600 version is.” It was actually easier in the sense the gravity was not as quick to drag you under…but difficult in that many tunnels and small gaps were introduced in the absence of sharp vector graphics. With persistence I became good at it and with preserverance I looped through the game’s four universes. I was impressed with the game and quickly returned to arcade Gravitar to see if I had misunderstood a challenging but skill rewarding game.

Edit: Since an update came out to issue black screen/control issues present on release for some, I have to mention that here. So if you read a review writing about control issues, be aware that most of them are patched already.

Ever wondered if could you play Pong against one of your friends online? Loved watching Sega Fanboy Mark of Classic Game Room playing Centipede and Missile Command and eagered to do the same? Well, now you can. And it would be a huge mistake not to do that.
