Roll
Roll is original and engaging. You roll dice to collect points, and use those points to upgrade your dice. The goal is to get the highest score possible in 2500 rolls.
It is likely to be too ‘mathy’ for some - figuring out which upgrades will generate the most had me setting up spreadsheets. However, some players like that sort of thing and once I got my head around the upgrades (most of the upgrades, there are some I still don’t really understand), I found I could do pretty well playing from the gut - which is more fun for me.

The man behind this game seems to be very passionate about the project. He has been putting out updates very frequently and even wiping leader boards with significant enough changes. he has also targeted and stopped (as far as I can tell) cheaters so the in game leader boards should be fairly accurate. On the limited youtube content available for this game he pops up time to time to interact with people in the comments section and answer questions or even just say hello, seems like a small thing but its kinda the reason I started playing. A random video about it popped up in my youtube feed and after seeing the dev in the comments seem so genuinely happy to talk to people about the game I figured id give it a shot. Im having a great time with this and id say its well worth the $4.99 I paid for it. I normally value my time as a gamer at roughly $1/hr of gameplay and Im only a few days into owning this game and I have already surpassed that mark. This deserves more attention and I think that if a community starts up around this it could really be a fun experience. Honestly my biggest gripe is that if I dont understand something or want to look something up about the game its simply not popular enough for google or youtube to understand what Im talking about and I havent come up with the right buzzword to have a more efficient search. “roll” and “roll game” paired with whatever Im trying to search or even by themselves usually yield either DND results or other games. but Im not even really sure thats any fault of the developer. If you have an extra $5 lying around you wont feel like you wasted it on this game

World of Aircraft: Glider Simulator
I have been a virtual Pilot way back since FS2002 Professional.
I currently fly FSX SE, Prepar3D, X-Plane 11, Aerofly FS2, Helicopter Simulator from Lines Studio, Combat Air Patrol 2, etc.
Lets just say that I am not new on customizing my loyal Thrustmaster T-Flite Hotas X.
Some platforms are more intuitive than others.
World of Aircraft: Glider Simulator is sadly one of the most head scratching interface mapping so far, at least for this Pilot.
Here are the problems: If you select the profile “simple joystick” for my device, it is a constant hit and miss that your binding will register.

I have a suggestion - I would advise the developers to go deeper into the late stage of the game now. And add mechanics to the Government section - right now their role in the game is minimal. I think this part can be deepened. But that’s just my opinion.. :D

This game is very interesting. The perspective of controlling other countries with economic power instead of military power is simple and innovative.
However, I have a complaint about the NPCs' behavior.
While the player is limited in terms of revolution points, the NPCs continue to annex other countries without such limitations. Also, with each turn, the rebellion points for annexing other countries become higher, making it impossible to complete the game if you focus on internal affairs.
The only solution is to annex NPCs before they become too big, but geography often prevents that effort in Asia and Africa.

UPDATE 3:
Finished the game on all 3 difficulty settings. The “hard” mode gets pretty serious in the latter part of the game. Honestly, I find myself returning to this title over and over again. It is legitimately a great game if you like grappling action. I remain utterly shocked that the (Polish?) developers have had zero engagement on Steam–this title could sell a lot more copies if they made a small effort to advertise and/or engage. Regardless, it is a tremendously fun game at a very low (non-sale) price. Is it perfect? No. However it fully succeeds at what it attempts to do. I doubt we’ll get a sequel, but I’d buy it in a heartbeat if they produce another title in this vein.

The game is great, only at the beginning I got lost on the maps because they are large and multilevel. And from time to time you need to do some rest because the otic capsule is going crazy and you can not feel the moment of “return to earth”. The fun is and the assumptions of the game are very interesting. I miss a slightly different, more vivid background, because sometimes it blended with the textures and therefore it was difficult to hit the “islands” in space

Cities: Skylines
Great game with loads of content and mods to keep the game fun. New DLC’s are a big reason why I’m still playing this game after so many years. I wouldn’t recommend buying them for the full price though, they are quite expensive. Just wait for a sale where most of them are 50% off.

If you’re into building stuff from scratch, loved Sim City, and cannot help yourself trying to do something better and more beautiful, buy the game. There’s nothing better. Be prepared to give a healthy chunk of your life, you budding City Planner!
Intuitive design, layered sophistication in game play, and plenty of mods and tools keeps you engaged for hundreds of hours.
I’m a relative amateur with a mere 339 hours of playtime. Just saying.
Enjoy!

This game is something truly special. It’s smart and sophisticated, with fabulous yet understated art and music. The gameplay is very satisfying, and it makes me feel like an evil mastermind even when I lose! Play this game, you won’t regret it.

Smart City Plan
A cheap simple city building/management game that actually works out of the release. I haven’t found any bugs that mess up game play. I built a city of 144,499 and yes the FPS rate has definitely slowed down but it’s that way in any city building game when you hit high population numbers. While the game is a little tough early on, by the time you hit more than 5,000 in population the money starts flowing in and makes it easier to build without borrowing. By the time you hit 10,000 there’s really no challenge left in making money.

Few things to say:
-
No energy management by AI - They either go full out until blow up, or basically stop riding so they can regain energy. Simply stupid to see on some mountain stages where peloton goes hard for like 15 km only to basically stop for final 3 km before summit.
-
Predictible - after riding like 3 TdF you can easily tell where breakaway is going to be caught, where breakaway can actually go away, what time will breakaway have at specific moment of stage(!)… (amazing “blockade” on some stages on 5 minutes mark, like 50 km of racing when time difference neither goes higher or lower than 5 minutes). Heck, on almost every single stage there is a certain “scenario” going on. And it repeats every single TdF. Fun, for sure…

I have owned several different versions of these games over the years. I was super excited when they announced that they were finally bringing it to PC. It is a cycling game through and through, if you are the type of person who will watch stages of the Tour live on TV and you like gaming then you will probably enjoy this game. However if watching hours of the peloton sounds boring to you maybe look elsewhere :P
With that being said, yes the game has some glitchy animations and moments and the graphics are definitely on the sparse side. These things seem to be there every year but for the only real game of its type its not a deal breaker by any means.

My Train Arrives
Short version:
Pros: Fun and relaxing, while still being fairly interesting and offering a challenge or two. More in-depth than a casual game, but much, much more laid back than a full rail network managment sim.
Cons: Short (I completed this game in 10 hours, including both the main campaign and the “Evacuation” alternative game modes), wish it was a bit MORE challenging. Not too much replayability.
Long version:
I really enjoyed this game. It was a perfect balance between a relaxing casual game and something more in-depth. It’s like a more in-depth version of Mini Metro (and in fact, one of the game modes is “Survival”, which basically functions like Mini Metro), but I mostly stuck to the campaign and evacuation mode. I fired this up whenever I needed to unwind for a little bit before getting back to a task at hand. I bought it during the winter sale and it was definitely worth the nice and affordable price tag. The controls are pretty intuitve, the graphics are cute, and it’s fun. I recommend it.

I wouldn’t call this a simulation game, it’s more of a transportation puzzler like Train Valley. Everything is static except the routes you build, and there are some restrictions on how you can build them. It’s very simple and there’s no progression. The game is solid but not exciting imo.
There are 3 modes:
1 - Campaign where you have to move X people/goods in Y time. There’s no penalties for people/goods waiting, nor for ignoring stations completely.
2 - Survival where you can’t let more than X people/goods stack up at a station. Achievement is granted after 20 minutes (you can accelerate time up to 8x). I found this mode needlessly difficult to the point of frustration.
