8/10 - Great value for money if bought & overall a very pleasant, relaxing experience.
This game was truly an enjoyable time. I’ve not completed the game fully but I have gathered the main aspect and the majority of what I needed to do. If I’m guessing, you’ll get about 6-8 hours of gameplay overall before “finishing” this game.
You’re using DNA to create lifeforms and reviving the world, essentially. It’s a very cute, relaxing indie game and the soundtracks are A.M.A.Z.I.N.G! Absolutely over the moon.

Ghost of the Seas
It is a rather impressively large set of islands.
There is a sense of epic scale during exploration that feels great.
Unfortunately, there isn’t much in between the big scenic set pieces.
This is missing 90% of its content (as it mentions) BUT given that fact, this should still be in the cooking phase, not in the selling it for $15USD on Steam phase.
The dev is obviously talented and I wish them all the best of luck.
Simply can’t recommend paying for this in its current state.

A Good Snowman Is Hard To Build
Who knew building snowmen could be this tricky?
If you dilute it down to its most basic elements, A Good Snowman is Hard to Build is basically sokoban – a very common sort of puzzle game that has you pushing blocks around various environments. Here, we take control of a little monster (originally shown at A Monster’s Expedition game) who is lonely and wants some friends, but in this snow-covered land, friends are hard to come by. So the little monster sets out to build some friends from the crisp snow on the ground. But of course, since this is a puzzle game it’s not just as simple as rolling some snowballs together ;)

(English)
The most enjoyable things in the beginning of a game for me were charming, cute and funny main character, nice animation and art, beautiful atmospheric music and sound effects and quite interesting developed mechanics of classical sokoban. It was also awesome to meet little nice details like that you can sit on a bench, touch different objects, chase butterflies and so on. Some of the puzzles were really tight, but most of them were of moderate difficulty and some were pretty straightforward.

Jigsaw Puzzle - Pro Edition
I like the variety of the puzzles, The only bad thing going on right now is that in expansion pack 8 (with the exception of the first group of puzzles in the row) all of the pictures shown when you scroll do not match the actual puzzle. Which is okay because I like the actual puzzle better. I haven’t checked all of the other expansion packs but this one might be the only one messed up like this.

This is a new take on jigsaw puzzle games, with fresh artwork. The art selection is awesome and it challenges you with complex color combinations and minutious details. Great game. I recommend it for all those who want to take a brake and relax in a slow paced puzzle with awesome art.

Note: “Rusa” means deer in Malay/Indonesian.
Before We Leave
I have personally been enjoying this game very much! I appreciate that I don’t need to worry about war or combat, nor must I consider the monetary value of my peoples (ie. slavery). It still can be challenging, and I was pleasantly surprised by the little challenges it throws your way (ex: the gremlins!). The aesthetic is very pleasing, and it isn’t very demanding graphically. I would definitely recommend this! I’ve written out some of my experiences and some tips! ♥
- The Tutorial -
Doing the tutorial is a good idea and I do recommend it, but the tutorial will take you through pretty much the whole game, or at least deep into the mid-game – this could literally be hours and hours lol. But I would suggest stopping after you have started to explore your second planet., then proceed to your own games.

Before we leave is one the best games I have played in a long time for getting right into the game and understanding what to do. It’s not because it’s easy or simple. It’s because of the amazing job they did with the tutorial system and explaining the basics of the game.

Submerged
Submerged
is a single player exploration/adventure game set in a partially submerged city, the remnants of an undisclosed apocalyptic event. You play as a nameless older sister trying to save the life of your younger brother who has suffered a grievous wound that has caused him to slip into a coma. What happens in this submerged city will decide the fate of both you and your brother.
Story
The story in Submerged is quite interesting in its presentation. Rather than relying on dialogue, notes, or anything coming close to resembling that, it relies solely on actual exploration which triggers events and unlocks hieroglyphic frames that in turn unveil a riveting and yet somewhat indistinct tale.

I think the biggest flaw of this game is that it fails to surprise you in any way.
I was initially going to recommend this game after playing it briefly because the premise is amazing. Exploring the ruins of a half-sunken city to find a cure for your sick brother? Strange, infected creatures? A story told without words?
And for a while, it totally is. The environment is amazing; the first time you climb a tall building, you are blown away. You notice movement behind the corner and you half-expect an ambush. A huge orca swims through the wide canals, so you take the narrow ones to keep out of danger. You avoid the green puddles with plants growing from the sea like the plague. And you’re very careful whenever you climb to avoid falling. And all of this build-up goes nowhere.

Cloud Climber
As many others note, this isn’t a game, but more of a very short walking sim. Very relaxing. Took me 23 minutes to wander through while listening to the narrator and reading the notes left behind by “game characters”. The scenery is hauntingly beautiful, and the creator must have put a lot of effort into making those hand-drawn graphics.
However, the backstory, or history, is very shallow. The game description on the store page gives you more information of what’s going on than what you learn in the game itself. Only the basics of the backstory are given to explain what led up to the point where you now find yourself. You must use your imagination to fill in the details of what happened.

Cloud Climber is a very short walking simulator, with nice hand drawn graphics, and a brief story about why the builder build the towers. The time I played gave me a taster that made me want to see a full blown game expanded from this idea as the end came abruptly. (not that I was expecting anything less {or more}. Because the developer is giving this simulator away for free you really cannot go wrong downloading and checking it out. I found that it was worth the 15 to 20 minutes of time it should take to complete the simulation. You can actually complete it much faster if you ignore the messages, but that would defeat the point of this developers project. It actually took me almost 45 minutes to finish, but I was dragging my feet looking at the views and taking screen captures etc.

Eastward
This game is a brilliant! I The world is so attractive that you want to spend hours in it and explore every corner of it. It was with great pleasure that I communicated with each NPC. Dialogues gave me so much emotions. I can’t remember the last time I smiled so much while playing. What about music, it’s sheer delight. She immersed me in the days of my childhood. And I really felt like a little carefree boy.
This is the best game in the last year. Recomend for everybody!

Harmonium
A cute, post-apocalyptic game. Mostly text-based but with a pleasant story-book design. But wait a minute – should cute and post-apocalyptic go together? It works like a children’s cautionary tale: it won’t give you nightmares but may touch your ideas about the future.
I enjoyed the story. There is a steady progression to the main character and plot with freedom to ‘explore’; but you’ll need to bring some imagination as much of exploration is done through text narration. The game makes a good distraction for an evening or two. And after you’ve finished all your quests and character development, you can choose to think about how it compares to our own world – or not.

Alright, I’ll go ahead and give this one a positive - IF it sounds interesting to you. If you don’t like a lot of reading, choose-your-own adventure style, you’ll become bored. That is the meat of this game is the great writing.
You must choose from a list of events to initiate to progress to the next week and they’re all a few paragraphs of what your character is doing. You pick one of those choices, a few paragraphs of the result of your choice play out based on your stats, and then you receive rewards but mostly it’s to progress the week because you put characters in your house to passively generate resources. Resources are what is used to upgrade your furniture and sometimes spent on events. The game is pretty straight-forward about what does what and how to progress the story. There’s not a lot of things you have to keep in mind. There is a finite number of weeks before you must complete the game. Full disclosure, I have not done so yet, however the time limit does not seem too short that you’ll feel the need to hustle. It’s okay to fail events occasionally.
