Demon’s Residence
One golden Rule i took für myself over all the Years playing Games is: Expect the Unexpected.
I still remember me, playing the first time RESIDENT EVIL going through the Floor when these damn Dogs crashed out of nowhere through the Windows.
That was my biggest Scarejump. That Game made Scarejumps very popular.
Over the Years there were many Games using Scarejumps and scary environments. Many MANY Games. From High Class Games to little Casual Games.
And this Game here is one little casual Game.

Not a bad little horror game for the cost. I generally hate games that rely on jump-scares but they were spread out enough here that it wasn’t too bad. A few little bugs but nothing crazy.

Note to Dev: At the 2:55 point in my video you can see where I got stuck in a room cause I closed a door and then couldn’t re-open it. Even loading from save the door stayed closed and I had to start over. Also at 7:55 you can see where I fell through the floor and died.

Death in the Family
I wanted to like this game it had a great atmosphere and the jump-scares were good. I liked this game until I got to when the hallway turns all red and the stuffed animals are on the ceiling. I was forced to walk to the end of the hallway where someone is waiting and when I got there the person killed me I think but the screen just goes black and stabbing sounds can be heard then nothing. No ending, no credits, just blackness with the white dot in the middle of the screen. I am not the only person who had this happen too and I played it two times in the video below just to confirm. Also, some events are time base so I had events stacking on top of each other in my first play-through. I can not recommend this game at $4 when it feels unfinished. I waited one day to see if a patch was going to come out to add an ending but nothing. This game is only about 40 minutes long. If you want to play this just know it is short but has some good jump scares but I think your $4 can be spent on another game. If this game had an ending and was cheaper than I would give it a higher score and a recommend.

Unfortunately, I’m having to leave a bad review. The game has so much potential, with lots of jump scares, but once you get to the man at the end of the hall, it glitches and the screen goes black. Being a full time streamer, my community was very disappointed to say the least. For that reason i can’t leave a good review.

Deep Lake: Prologue
nice opening music. nice graphics. Story is okay- from what I can make of it. Bad translation in parts which made it hard to follow. For example the mc stepped in a ‘paddle’ twice and got his feet wet smh. I hope the later installments fix this. Might be pretty good if they do. I’ll give the benefit of the doubt and thumb this one up, but if there’s no improvement, I’ll have to change my recommendation.

This is the first ‘visual novel’ I have experienced. It isn’t a game; you don’t make any choices. So, having gotten over that expectation, I will proceed.
Obviously a novel needs an interesting story, and this is interesting. I imagine it is better in Russian, but since I don’t understand a single character of Cyrillic, I had to make do with the English version. It needs some work. I was able to get the gist of what they were saying most of the time, but an important part of a novel, to me, is how the story is told. So in order to make this a successful English visual novel, they’re going to need to find a fluent Russian/English translator. Google Translate just doesn’t do it. You can’t use the word ‘defile’ when you mean ‘define.’ Two totally different meanings.

Fireworks Simulator: Realistic
i would not recommend this game its not more than a concept currently.
the game didnt got any updates or informations since about mai. you have 6 fireworks ingame but only 5 of them actually work. a dame dev should be able to recreate the current state of this game in less than 1 week i guess.
Fireworks Mania and Pyroworks are much more advanced have tons more fireworks and a lot more replay value than this game it gets boring after not even 20 min and i have about 380h in Fireworks Mania and about 120h in Pyroworks dont waist your time and money on this game at least in the current state maybe in 1 or 2 years but not right now.

This is well done. It’s a beautiful, park-like setting where you can place and set off fireworks and enjoy the sights and sounds. I’m hoping more will be added later, such as ways to save configurations and place entire saved shows out to watch. Would also be nice to have the ability to plan out a show with timed releases, etc.
But, just as it is it is enjoyable and beautiful to watch. The sounds are well done. It’s a relaxing way to kill some time and could be fun to play with while listening to a podcast or the like.

NMNE
Atmospheric horror in psychedelic entourage. The game bribes with a breathtaking gameplay with a good study with a small required disk space for installation.
In something even crazy because of its features. The chief hero will be fighting with monsters in his own dream and only to wake up.
There are also Easter eggs and references to other games.
In general, a fit game, but it is suitable for those who love something psychedelic.

Simple and therefore great horror. The author surprises us with a whole story, which, is revealed in a small apartment. A plus for me is also the presence of in-game achievements.

BAD DREAMS
_“They’ve promised that dreams can come true - but forgot to mention that nightmares are dreams, too”. - Oscar Wilde
Your eyelids are heavy, your muscles relax, the sound of the television fades away to fatigue after a hard day at work. You embrace the arms of Morpheus and dive deep into the infinity of your imagination.
You wake up on an idyllic white sandy beach. A light breeze makes you shiver as the sun sets on the horizon. After a peaceful walk along the beach, you discover a huge dark bunker gate, which opens as you approach, inviting you to come in.
Your curiosity takes over and you decide to explore the place, revealing a wide underground complex. But what started as a perfect dream quickly turns into a bad one when you realized you’re not alone in here.
Find your way out, explore, solve puzzles and fight for your survival. Or your sanity.
Bad Dreams is not a game that should be played by everybody. It’s a unique experience filled with horrors and secrets. So be ready to face your darkest dream. But never. Ever. FALL INTO MADNESS._
Bad Dreams is a VR Horror game developed by French indie studio with outstanding and immersive gameplay based on real gesture. A unique experience, where nightmares become reality.
Immersives controls :
Bad Dreams will put all your senses to the test. Look, listen, smell, touch, run around… Don’t forget to do all this quietly because the evil is lurking, a strange evil that can’t be silenced without taking your head with both hands… Use your VR controllers like never before. Pinch your nose to avoid mortal gaz, cover your ears to save your spirit from madness…

A place where only the worst nightmares manifest. Run for your life to escape this hell and pick up right where you lost your mind.
Explore :
Use flashlight or matches to explore a dark underground network. Crouch and be quiet to avoid unnecessary fight. Pray to take the good path or die and try again. Do not forget your flashlight battery or embrace the darkness and its subjects.
Fight :
A horde of zombies, mutants and atrocities will come to haunt you throughout the game. Fortunately for you, there is a large choice of weapons and how to use them: kill, maim, and burn the monsters to save your life.
Puzzles :
Your path will be filled with puzzles to solve. Some of which would seem simple at first… But not when you’re under attack and creatures are roaring behind you. Thrilling moments guaranteed.
Hard choices :
In this game, you will have to choose which tool or weapon you’ll carry. You can carry one thing per hand and your inventory will offer you two slot so use it wisely.

Find Yourself
I’m not quite sure if I enjoyed this game but I definitely don’t think I disliked it. I played Locked Up before playing this game and the dev does show some progression but the same basic premise is used in both games. Walk around and/or interact with certain items to trigger the next event. The biggest plus is that this game has a running option! So, it makes the game feel a lot less sluggish than Locked Up. There was a part where you were actively chased, which I thought seemed a bit unnecessary and out of place. However, it did add in a bit of a different kind of suspense, but I didn’t really like it. Unlike Locked Up, the main character can die which I did enjoy.

EMIKA_GAMES is definitely a horror up-and-comer! Their first being Locked Up (LU) a bold haunted house starter. But one which I concluded was undone by its story and the overbearing, ravaging sound effects instead of the much-needed subtler silence to give a healthy mix. I had no notion this 2nd title Find Yourself (FY) was even in production, because I thought their 3rd From Day to Day in development now was going to be it!
