City Eye: Prologue

City Eye: Prologue

An interesting game. It has potential to be fun, when if comes out it may be much more enjoyable. I found it to be a challenge and will continue to do so after I have played more of it. Unfortunately time wasn’t on my side to get a fair shot at it decently so I have not gotten on again to where I can fairly. Please try it out and see what you think yourself and judge it.

Disassembly 3D

Disassembly 3D

TL;DR Yes

Pros:

-The disassembly is very relaxing.

-The destruction is absolutely worth the long process of taking the thing apart, especially with the big builds, like the skyscraper or elevator.

-The disassembly is fairly realistic, if not for some minor details.

-New updates are constantly coming out for this game, adding new content and fixing bugs.

Cons:

-After disassembling most of an item, you are usually left with a few parts left and then have to look all over to find those last missing pieces.

It’s not a bad game, it’s actually fun to play. But there are three reasons while I choose to not recommend the game:

1- Bugs: The game has many bugs that can make a stage unbeatable unless you restart that stage. As a complitionist person, this was just too annoying to handle.

2- The bigger the object, the less details it’ll have. Like the Tank, Train, Towers and the Titanic. They were fun but they aren’t like the beginning stages where everything was much more detailed.

3- There will always be that 1 or more pieces that needs to be disassembled and you don’t know where the hell it is. It’s either bugged (like what I said in point 1) or it’s somewhere between the cluster of parts you just made and now good luck finding that last piece. The game should have had an indicator on the last few pieces that needs to be disassembled and where they are because looking for them is not fun at all.

Duck Hunting

Duck Hunting

This game has potential, but it does feel unfinished. However, it’s cheap and I found it moderately fun in the 10 hours I’ve played.

What amazes me is how much each item changes the gameplay.

Initally I was just walking around the lake, flushing ducks from their spawn points in the grass (which I more or less memmorized). The issue here is most flushed ducks die in water too deep to retrieve. It almost seemed easier to shoot the first 2 ducks in the game then reload from the startpoint. Felt exploitative, but I needed to buy a dog. After buying the dog, I was able to rack up quite a few points running around the lake flushing single birds from the shore. Very rarely did I ever shoot a fly by duck (though those seemed to get more points). After buying the decoys, the duck call, the big gun and the ammo, I found myself loading the game, running to the lake, shooting the first grass duck, then walking the sandbar to the island. With the decoys and the duck call, I could get a group of flying ducks to come by close enough to shoot, but only because I was ready for them and knew from what direction they spawned. After that first group it was easier to reload the game, since the flying ducks are hard to see. You often hear them first, and by then they’ve flown out of range. Anyway, after getting the camoflauge that changes. When ducks are flying towords you, it plays an alert sound and pops up the minimap automatically. A red dot shows you the duck and what direction it’s coming from. So at this point I use it as a time waster. I can put decoys up and look at the TV till I hear the duck alert sound.

The game is very good. In the first day I have 2000 points to use for the inventory. If you walk near the water you will find the ducks that fly away from your feet. If you walk in the forest and try to hide near the trees coulb be possible some ducks will fly over your head. The shoot mode is simply but very realistic…for example: shooting to a flying duck needs that you shoot ahead to simulate the time that bullets arrive to the target. Negative points: the map is always the same and the mini map is useless. I hope some upgrade will resolve these problems.

Nemesis: Race Against The Pandemic

Nemesis: Race Against The Pandemic

Oh it’s a pretty good third-person shooter in which we have to save the world. Isn’t that cool?!

Despite the fact that on our shoulders the role of the savior of this planet is very interesting to play.

Nemesis has great graphics, but the game is sometimes boring. As it makes very little sense and there are no quests that I expected…

Maybe I should wait for an update? Right now this recommendation is in advance

Awww

it really could have been similar to Arma…. but not quite.

I liked the graphics but the optimization could have been better. My rating is 7/10.

Giant Machines 2017

Giant Machines 2017

World’s Largest Industrial Machines Simulator

https://youtu.be/4TGa3Hj0MZc

  • Gameplay is great fun (for a simulator) and most objectives are not too grindy or time consuming. You are essentially the operator for a number of very LARGE machines and must do a variety of tasks such as mining, plowing, hauling, cutting, transporting, and so fourth.

  • Each mission is tied together to the ultimate goal of launching a space shuttle which I found to be very rewarding and makes you actually want to progress.

Giant Machines 2017 is an oddball, a game you’ll play once but remember long after you did as a truly bizarre but strangely good experience. Really not sure at all why this has the “Simulation” tag on it as it’s purely arcade. Much of what you do makes no sense, especially the bit about racing a haul truck down a deserted highway late at night as if nobody would notice lol. The game is backed up by an…interesting…choice of radio stations which (mostly unfortunately) cannot be turned off - like shockingly bad salsa music mixed with opera.

Ironsmith Medieval Simulator: Prologue

Ironsmith Medieval Simulator: Prologue

Summary: This game is fun and satisfying, but has a lot of functionality problems. It does crash, erasing all my progress.

This game is a lot of fun! Obviously it’s not a full game yet and the textures aren’t done and a lot of mechanics are very buggy. Besides that, game play is fun and satisfying. Completing a sword feels like an accomplishment every time, and it feels good to get reviews from random people who you sell your swords too. However, I have encountered an error every time I play the game. Once I reach the second location and make 2 or 3 swords, the game crashes and I lose all of my progress. Like I said, the game isn’t complete yet, but it is still really annoying. I may be an idiot, but I also can’t seem to find a way to save. Either way, it’s only a demo so there can’t be much left after the game crashes so it’s not that big of a deal.

After playing this game my overall summary is: This is okay, but it could be so much better.

Pros of this game:

1. It’s a good concept, and executed decently.

2. It adds more to being a blacksmith than “go make sword, get paid”

3. It isn’t super difficult to get a grasp of, and you can improve your ability to smith.

4. (This is my opinion.) I like the look of this game, it has a nice art style and it looks like the developer really worked hard making it.

5. The developer seems like they want to continue building and improving upon their game, which means a lot of my complaints about this game may be removed in the actual game.

RadianVR

RadianVR

RadianVR is a new vision for an old-school arcade-style puzzle game. Unlike conventional color-matching puzzle games, in RadianVR you manipulate rings of blocks made of realistic materials such at metals, fabrics, and tiles, in a puzzle that floats in front of you. The end result, especially when playing with dual inputs such as Oculus Touch, is one of feeling immersed in a real world while playing with a physical puzzle.

With a wide range of special effects—such as locking, rainbow blocks and automatic flipping—the depth and difficulty increase as you play. It includes an arcade mode, a more relaxing “infinite” mode, and a puzzle mode with 100 hand-crafted boards to solve in as few moves are possible.

Excellent fluidity in the locomotion; though the control implementation needs some work: (1) Vive control touchpads are activated with touch, not click, so there are a lot unwanted triggers; (2) the Index controllers do not have thumb stick integration; and (3) the bow is very difficult to use… I spent 10 minutes ‘pressing A/X near the bow’ with nothing happening.

I do like the scale of the world (is it procedurally generated generated?).

The enemy detail / animation is quite nice.

I would like to see some sort of XP / level system, even in this early stage, it would provide a sense of accomplishment (and give reason to hunt).
