Invasion: Lost in Time
Nederlandse versie hier beneden.
Regardless of whether time travel is possible, it remains an interesting subject to philosophize about or to turn it into a game. Unfortunately, ‘Invasion: Lost in Time’ comes with an unbelievable, unattractive story. You can argue that this is compensated by the numerous and varied mini-games that this Hidden Object Game contains. Once you have played them a large number of these can be found via the bonus button on the main menu. A number of new puzzles can also be found there. Another plus is the background music. This music would fit very well in a good science fiction movie. Regarding that, some locations also look fantastic and sifi-like. The game does not have spoken audio, and only comes in English translation. Also, no trading cards are given, nor are there achievements to unlock. The latter is a shame, because there are achievements within the game itself. It is nice, however, that missed achievements can still be won afterwards via the bonus button of the main menu.

Works ok for me, so far it’s another mediocre point’n’click HOG (hidden object game) in a sea of mediocre HOGs (there are tons of free ones - MyPlayCity).
No voice acting. Story is ok. Putting lines of story text during the middle of a puzzle is annoying, I like to concentrate on the puzzle when I’m doing a puzzle.
Puzzles are reasonably good, a bit more unique than most HOGs.
The game has in-game achievements but they aren’t mapped to steam achievements.
Good HOGs to start with are ‘Nightmares from the Deep’ series, ‘Hidden Animals Photo Hunt’ and ‘Adam Wolfe’. For non-HOG adventure games there is the ‘Deponia’ series, ‘Machinarium’ and ‘The Journey Down’ series…[edit] The Samarost series is great too.

Seven Doors
When I saw this game, I didn’t think about it, as it caught my attention and I was curious to see how it had been made.
When a proposal immerses you in the way Seven Doors does, it’s because things have been done with care and attention to detail despite the technical and natural limitations of an independent project. I can assure you that from the first-person perspective with which we faced this title, I felt overwhelmed by the artistic section of some of the scenarios, and I felt the oppressive atmosphere that they tried to transmit to the player.

I find this game very frustrating as the loading is slow and the controls choppy. This is not a point and click game. It is a WASD game. I have gotten to the 5th level and am about to abort continuing this game. My blood pressure can’t take it. This game may be good for younger adults with good hand coordination. I am older and enjoy point and click. I do enjoy puzzles, but, not puzzles like the ones in the 7 doors. I got this game on sale so I am not to disappointed as opposed paying full price. This game has good graphics and is short. I had to play with the lowest graphic level as loading was unbearable long. I have a AMD A10-7800 with RAM 12 GB.

The Laundry
The Laundry - is a good indie game with horror elements. Atmospheric graphics, sounds, and from some locations you are in a fright. The game perfectly kills time and scares. Excellent optimization and achievement system. I advise you to buy and download the game. I wish the developer good luck and look forward to updates.
A horror game in which you need to collect all the Help notes scattered across a small level. A clown with a large hammer will interfere with this, which kills instantly upon meeting, I cannot dodge (I honestly could not collect more than 6-7 notes, a big plus of the game is achievements and drops, at the time of the passage I more than paid off the game by selling the drop from the game. And also My ass is a dribbling mess after playing this. A massive fan of survival horror but this gave me chills! Says it all that you unlock all the achievements just by sticking with it and staying alive for 100 seconds!

I think it’s a great Escape Room with good content. I’ve spent hours trying to solve some puzzles. What I didn’t know was some Puzzles had been broke or not working. That prevented me from moving along in the game. BUT, I hung in there and once the Hidden Locker Door was fixed + the Hints Station working. I had a much better time with the game and felt good solving them one by one. Even went back to try some fails to see what would happen, I enjoyed that as well!

Howling Village: Echoes
(中文评测在下面!)
Howling Village: Echoes (Inunakimura: Zankyou) is the official game to the 2020 J-horror film Howling Village (Inunakimura), which is directed by Shimizu Takashi and features Miyoshi Ayaka. The game was originally released in mobile platform in 2020, and now it is ported onto NS and PC. (The porting is bad though, the game even tells you to TAP the screen rather than CLICK.)
It’s basically a point&click puzzle game with a linear story-telling. The game features 6 main characters, each one has its own route, and each route has its True Ending. The True Ending to a route is always blocked at first, you should play other routes to unlock it (like 428: Shibuya Scramble in a much simpler way). The game makes you feel like you have many choices and options, but in fact you don’t. In order to clear the game you must play each route and each chapter in a certain order to unlock the True Ending. Like I said, it’s pretty linear. As for the “more than 50 endings” they claim in the store page, well, it does have that many endings, but most of them are just meaningless Bad Ends. The game only has ONE TRUE ENDING, and you can’t ever miss it.
