AegisM
As a fully integrated three dimensional game, AegisM makes other tower-defense games look like crossword puzzles. It has changed the genre completely. Play as a character who moves around, places towers, utilizes abilities, and shoots weapons in an effort to survive as long as possible. The enemy mobs are challenging and diverse. Each map requires a different strategy. The builds and possibilities are endless. Don’t be afraid to experiment :) I have enjoyed every one of the 160+ hours I have played this game. Highly recommend!!!!

Been playing this gem during development in early-access with non stop enjoyment.
If you love Tower Defence then you’ll for sure get lost in this game.
The game offers a unique style to tower defence including competitive leader boards (which makes me enjoy it the most)
fun challenges, unlockables and CO-OP gameplay which allows you to rule the leadersboards with your friends if you have good synergy and teamwork or simply just prove who’s the better player in PvP or beating them in leader boards.

Get it, Hero!
Do you remember playing capture the flag in your childhood? Remember all the tension you had in midfield when someone was focused on you and you on him, seeing who was going to make the first move and get caught? and then someone would move, the entire enemy team would go after this brave hero who tried to make his tale, and that opened up a huge gap for you and your comrades to pass on the other side of the map. this guy got caught and you and your teammates, now that you had the flag in your hand, had the difficult task of tricking the other team into returning to your field, knowing that now the team would definitely focus on you holding the flag. I remember thinking how good it would be in those moments if I had the power of super speed, invisibility, or teleportation.

Gray Zone
“Dangerous is fun” - and so is this game :) I’ve played several hours and had a lot of fun. I like the gameplay, the characters (especially ‘Breg’), the setting and the story (so far)… Graphics and sound are very good, voice acting is great and adds to the atmoshpere and the game mechanics offer a lot of variety. What to do? = Sneaking or gun blazing? Go around enemies or better confront them? Push forward or solve the small riddles (which have been carefully fitted into the game world)? Great work so far on the game aspects as well as on QA - I haven’t encountered serious bugs so far, saving and loading is working fine. Problems are small, like the main character does not respond after loading a savegame, but that could be solved by restarting the missioon and then loading the savegame again…

UPDATED** I can no longer recommend
Overall a unique RTS that has a fun storyline. There’s still some bugs, and the game is like a rollercoaster. It’s fun and exciting but seems to be over all too soon. I’d recommend anyone who enjoys RTS’s and wants something different to check this game out!
**The game feels abandoned. The last update from the devs was to finish the last two missions of chapter one and devote all of December to it. Since then? Nothing……

Virtuous Western
An enjoyable simple platformer game which incorporates a number of different mechanics to overcome each set of levels (puzzles). I found that the throwing the stick of dynamite took a little practice but after a few times you can pretty much figure out the physics and I could hit just about every time. As expected the boss level took most time but that puzzle taught me the essence of patience…the pattern was recognizable but still random in its execution so accomplishing a solve still took patience. I enjoyed the game and thanks to the developers and their team for releasing it to us! Hope to see more puzzles on this game with more mechanics in the future!

Magi
This is an old and fun game that used to be sold by the standalone developer. It’s a shame strategies are not still posted, for it can really be challenging to win. Music soundtrack is pretty iconic… I don’t think the developer supports it anymore but if you’re into magic duels then you’ve probably spent worse money than this.

It’s “TUG-OF-WAR” with fireballs and techno-liches.
Other games come to mind, like
“Aeon Command” (space battles)
“Samurai vs Zombies Defense” (goofy samurai warfare)
and
“Puzzle Chronicles” (the illegitimate child of Tetris and Mortal Kombat)
These game elements are constant:
-
try to hold the line
-
manage your defences
-
beef-up your attacks
-
spam your enemies to death
In Magi, you start by opening magical “channels.” These channels enable your spells and strengthen them. Then, it’s a real-time battle as you queue-up spells for casting. It’s like the building queue in Starcraft or Civ… only it’s your shield spell, or a magic missile, or summoning an imp. As your mage is casting one spell, you have time to set up the next. And the next. You can plan a bit… or panic. Apparently, I’m still fond of panicking.
