Edge Of Galaxy
On the main menu screen there’s New Game, Tutorial, Settings, Achievements, Statistics and Exit. The tutorial will take you over the basics of the game and isn’t very long. There are two game modes: Sandbox and Explorer. Sandbox is where you’ll make your way through a galaxy which is divided into sectors. Each sector consists of multiple coordinates and is controlled by one of the five factions: Mercenary, Federation, Ocrons, Krios and Raiders.

Today, a short look at the Edge of Galaxy space strategy in early access.
Early Access success
Currently, the best-implemented part of the game is fighting. Battles are dynamic and short. At the same time, proper mercenary management and equipment improvement have great importance. The development of the armada was interestingly solved after each skirmish, we have a choice of who get the spoils “mercenaries” or commander. This is not an easy decision: we buy ship upgrades and equipment from the fleet budget, but it is money for ship crews that enables them to grow. Just traveling from system to system and increasing your fleet’s battle potential can give you a lot of satisfaction. A very interesting aspect of the game are also enemy special forces, which actively hunt your fleet on the main map, putting some pressure on the player. Five different factions to choose from also increase the potential replayability of this title.

Angelwood
Have you ever felt like living through the 2019-2020 school year?
I sure hope you haven’t. But now you can simulate living through it! The school year starts off unsuspectingly enough, but you very quickly realize that the town’s mafia is controlling people through an unseen world. As Sophomore John Smith, it’s your job to infiltrate the mafia’s bases with your friends and take down the evil lurking in broad daylight.
There’s a story to be told
You’re not going to be facing the same cut and dry school year like you used to. Taking down the 21st century mafia isn’t an easy task for a Sophomore, after all. Don’t like reading? Some scenes are voice acted!
Action based combat
Live in the moment! Fight your way through the mafia’s ranks with real time combat. From sword fighters to gun slingers to robotic mech users and more, your friends have your back throughout the whole journey.
The mafia isn’t the only threat you’re facing!
If you enjoy living, you better hit the books! As a student, you have to keep up with your school life, social life, AND mafia life. If you thought the mafia was scary, just wait and see what happens when you don’t do your homework! Most importantly, you need to be there for your friends.
Work on yourself outside of battle
Fighting enemies isn’t the only way to become stronger in this game. You can take a well-deserved break from combat by playing some computer games to make more equipment to use in battle. There’s even a skill tree you can customize! Or perhaps you’d wish to train with your allies directly…?

Legend of Mana
This game is my favorite game of all time. It has so much depth. Everything about it is great. Its hard for me to be objective here so I’ll try to break out what I love about it in order of importance.
1. The combat. The combat has a lot of variety to it with multiple weapons, plunge attacks, magic spells, golem behaviors, monster pets, and synch effects. Its kinda like a fighting game in that you can combine skills together to chain some pretty awesome combos. You can play local co op too and beat the crap out of the enemies with your friends.

The moment I saw the announcement of Legend of Mana Remaster appear both on Steam and Nintendo Direct a few months back, I was overcome with nostalgia and anticipation. This game was a favorite and staple of m middle school days and I remember fondly the times I played with my brother completing dungeons and quests, bouting out in the arena with our characters, and just explore the world of Fa’diel and be mystified by its surroundings and diverse characters.
Now, as an adult, I have revisited my little treehouse and see through it with a newer perspective and compared it with what I can remember in my childhood.

Shadoworlds
Deafening silence in the deep darkness of space.
The Magna 6 system is home to the most advanced weapons lab the universe has ever known. Two months ago, communications with the orbiting facility mysteriously went dead without any warning. If the cutting edge weapons in the station were to fall into the wrong hands, the results would be cataclysmic. Knowing that quick action is necessary, but unaware of what terrors might have caused the break in communication, you are called in to lead a small team of brave but expendable explorers through the imperiled space station with a mission to ascertain the fate of its crew.
Krisalis Software and Teque London’s gripping isometric squad-based sci-fi action RPG follows your team of four explorers as they trek through the dark environments of the Weapons Research Facility to uncover the mystery of what went wrong. Each member of the team is chosen by the player based on their strengths and weaknesses, as well as their personality and individual history. As the leader of the unit, you have full control over the inventories and actions of your squad, even down to deciding when to use headlamps to illuminate the darkness. But watch out – the inky blackness of space hides friend and foe alike.
-
Traverse the dimly lit corridors of the Weapons Research Facility and beam down to the planet surface for terrestrial excursions.
-
Craft weapons by combining interchangeable items found on your mission and use them to battle against hostile defense robots and other menacing threats.
-

Despite still being so early in its development, this is a very fun game. The devs are very responsive to community feedback and surprisingly quick to fix issues for such a small team. If you are looking for a full out medieval sims game… it’s not quite there yet, but if you enjoy designing castles and fighting bandits, it’s already good to go.

Lame Defenders
Lame Defenders is a mix of RTS, RPG and Tower (Hero) Defense games featuring real time tactical combat with ability to slow time. Hire many different heroes and assemble your team of up to five of them and beat waves of enemy monsters. Earn gold and experience, hire more heroes, tweak your teams and slay more monsters to dominate the online leaderboards. I hope you will like the game. I am a solo developer from Czech Republic who likes games and everything around gaming for a long time.
Arenas and monsters
The game currently contains 10 arenas with different looks and types of enemies that you have to beat. You will face weak pawns but also elite monsters that will cause you lots of trouble with their powerful skills. You have to read carefully description of enemy skills as there are skills that will wipe your heroes very quickly if not countered correctly.
Heroes
You can assemble a team of maximum 5 heroes of your choosing from over 20 heroes at the time (more heroes will come soon). The heroes might not allways be the coolest and strongest people but hey everyone has right to be a bit lame from time to time. Every hero has 3 unique skills for you to use. There is no mana or other resource, only cooldowns. Pick your team wisely as there are different types of heroes as you know them from other games - there are tankier heroes, healers, damage dealers or supports with buffs and debuffs. You can also customize playstyle of every hero by adding attribute points (attack, defense, agility) as you earn experience and levels.
Battle
In every arena there are different monsters that will spawn periodicaly in waves. New waves will introduce new monsters and every wave will make all monsters stronger. You have to use your heroes to beat as many waves as you can and delay the monster invasion and give your people time to build defenses. You also have possibility to slow time to give yourself a little break and do some thinking about your strategy.
Controls
You control Lame Defenders just as any other real-time strategy game like Warcraft/Starcraft. You can use mouse and keyboard to control your heroes.
Online leaderboars
Lame Defenders has its own online leaderboards for every battleground in the game. Can you compete for the best score?
Urban Survival

Great game! This is exactly what I’ve been waiting for! It has exactly what I want in a game! Open world (although its not so huge from what I can see but nonetheless feels great), base building/managing, crafting/cooking, looting (lots of looting lol), combat/gang wars and the power to pee on anything! lol. I’m glad I wish listed this game and then purchased it on day one, it was worth every penny! Its been keeping me entertained and glued to my seat. I look forward to seeing this game grow in development! Keep up the good work Helix Games!

gameplay
This is a pseudo-action game with an open world and a multi-branch plot.
The game has an intricate plot branch with a strong random exploration gameplay.

All things can give you the corresponding feedback
And these feedbacks are intertwined with the gameplay.
There is no single solution, as long as you think of it, you can definitely do it.
The first time the player process will cause a different butterfly effect on the subsequent plot. You may meet this, this, or this.
Because of your changes, everything changes afterwards, enemies or friends, in an instant.
If you like the pursuit of detail exploration play.
If you like open-world games with a high degree of freedom.
Like to go out of their own plot line of the game as you wish.
Then I’m waiting for you in the game to walk with me to the end, to unravel the cause and effect of it all.
That Role Playing
While I do like a good throwback dungeon crawler, this game misses the mark on several levels. 1. There is no character progression, no equipment upgrades, etc. All you get is health and shields (which in the end are essentially the same thing) 2. The game starts out difficult, but should progress from easy (to get you used to the developers style) and get harder. 3. The integration of reverse polish notation math questions in order to progress in the game is downright whack.
What I did like were the sound effects, some made me laugh. The general concept is good but needs to fix/add what I posted above. You can leave the graphics as is, I like the 1980’s Ultima-ish style.

Great game allowed me to remember very good moments. It seems easy but it actually very tricky. And I learned a new word. I recommend everyone to try it!
