If you liked the review and interested in completion and perfection time of games with additional useful information (for example: how difficult to get all achievements, is MP or DLC required and so on) or interested in reviews like this, then please follow my Average Achievement Hunter curator.

Zombie Driver HD is a post-apocalyptic game where you need to kill zombies with your car. If i really need to select one genre which describes the game, then it should be: top-down shooter.

No Walking During a Zombie Apocalypse!

Absolutely not a carmageddon game or any of vanilla gta series games, but feels and looks like it. Might have been inspired by those games, but completely different.

So if you’re fond of driving and not fond of zombies - you’re welcome. Here’s how it feels: you drive all around a big city full of zambies, destructibles and turns. Zambies want to eat your brains,

Mr. Torgue Mode on.

but don’t worry, they won’t get any. (BWA-HA-HA!) Be fast and furious! Feel the need for speed! Have fun all over your wheels and hood. EXPLOOOOOOSIONS! and gunfire! This will be brutal! As brutal as if having a handful of French fries, putting it into a hige bowl of ketchup and smash it all over your own face. BRUTAL AF! So fasten your sealbelts and put the pedal to the metal!

Road Z : The Last Drive

Road Z : The Last Drive

A nice little arcade driving game from a singel dev.

You drive, and upgrade to get further before the gas runs out or Zeds trash your car. (or like me, like a magnet going head on into every exploding barrel on the road) ^^

You can leave the car to take your revenge on zombies showing them the pointy end of your knife, also upgrade materials kan be found on foot in houses etc for some extra boost to upgrading your car.

For me this game is fun, I like the grinding to get to the next checkpoint and the “strategic” element in balancing what to upgrade and choosing when to avoid or hit zombies to get as far as possible.

Apparently I’m one of only 2% of people who have stuck with this game to make it through the 2nd stage (4 stages total). For 4Gb worth of content, there really isn’t much to this game. The driving is fun, and so is upgrading the cars, but it honestly feels like it should be part of a bigger game. If this were a full RPG with the ability to drive around too. I would love it…however as it stands, it has to little content, way to much grind for what little content there is and I’m left with the feeling that this could be so much better if there were just …more to it

Zombie Derby 2 (ZD2 in short), developed and published by Brinemedia. On steam, the PC release date is shown as 22 Spe 2016. On Metacritic (http://www.metacritic.com/game/pc/zombie-derby-2 ) however, it shows: Jan 25 2018 and it is also available on the Ipone and Ipad.

ZD concept derived from a flash game know as “Earn to Die”. ZD1 was released on 2013 and today (2018) years later we are given ZD2. A much more polished product, with more challenges/achchivements to do. It is a short game and I do not feel the other game mode (apart from its story line) will retain its player base long.

Zombie Van Drive is a Unity Asset flip, what Valve calls a “fake game”. The “developer”, INFINITE BRIDGE, took the Zombie Drive - Full Game Template Unity Store tutorial/demo/game asset pack from the real developers, Puppeteer, changed the name, and dumped the result onto Steam. They’re attempting to scam people into buying this, so they can get your money for someone else’s work.

Clutch

Clutch

This was nice to play. People who like Carmageddon will probably like this

Positives:

Good graphics quality. Really good I guess for the time of the release, no worse than in more recent Carmageddon: Reincarnation

Fun physics

Nice maps with destructive elements and stuff like ramps or tunnels to perform stunts

Cars eating zombies

Cars setting zombies on fire

Cars getting energy from eating and dismembering zombies for a nitro boost

You get to race and eat zombies with your car inside the Large Hadron Collider

It’s really hard for me to recommend Clutch, even despite me spending 11 hours of my life playing it.

For one, the PS3 version is the definitive version of the game with many improvements which I will mention later.

This game had so much potential but unfortunately, it just comes off as rushed halfway.

Only 3 cars out of 8 are customizable, and they have some cars shown in the concept art that don’t appear in the game at all. The races are too easy and the car collisions are really bad, you’ll ram some cars at full speed and they would BARELY get any damage.

Earn to Die 2

Earn to Die 2

Definetely better than the free flash game counterpart: more stuff, more vehicle modifications, more ways to break your car, more complex level design. I found it really fun how as my car takes damage parts of it fall off (doors, hood), but it’s still going. I totally laughed my but off when my car broke on HALF, and I still managed to beat the level driving just the front half of the car. A really fun driving experience!

Earn to Die 2

I rate this product 4/5.

This game is - well to put it frankly - tedious.

When you get your first car in Earn to Die 2 you need to upgrade it to get farther on the map,

reaching checkpoints and then reaching the end to unlock a new car.

In between this it’s likely you have to spend around 30 minutes for each car - getting so close - and then losing.

Overall A good game - however tedium levels rise when you have to repeat the same level around 30 times to finish it and unlock a new car.

Dystopian Drift

Dystopian Drift

Story

An unsettling scenario in an unsettling future.

Your brain has been transplanted to a spiderbot.

You remotely drift the car through the arena and protect your brain from incoming waves of cyberzombies!

You can survive the arena for 5 waves or you can conquer it by gaining the highest rank.

Gameplay

Dystopian Drift is an action minigame that requires fast player input.

You drift, aim and need to be aware of your surroundings at the same time.

Controls:

You need a keyboard and mouse.

Use “WASD” to move the car (arrows work as well).

Use the Mouse to aim and shoot.

2d side scrooler drive with obstacles. You need to repeat races to gain coins to upgrade to get further to discover new maps and vehicles. Not many maps but a god 2-3 hour fun to finish the game. Maybe another 1-2 hours for the expert challenges. A bit of fun if you waiting for the post man to arrive

A decent “Earn to Die” clone. Sure, it’ll only take a couple of hours to earn all the achievements, but there’s more to do in the game afterwards. Plus it goes on sale for less than the game it pays tribute to, which is a bonus.
