The Next Penelope
This game is listed as a racing game, but that’s only 60% accurate.
The game is a top-down racer 60% of the time, a janky bullet-hell PoS 30% of the time, and a janky-af pinball minigame 10% of the time.
The controls are consistent, but everything feels floaty, and it’s awful. It’s like the entire game is set on an ice rink. You have no control over your acceleration so, when coupled with the floaty controls, whether you succeed or not comes down to how well you can memorise a level. Oh, and don’t forget luck. Because you’re gunna need dumb-luck in spades if you want to beat some levels. Enemy racers never seem to actually get knocked out of races if they get blown up/run out of energy ~ unlike you, who stays down and has to restart any failed event from the beginning.

Aurelien Regard’s The Next Penelope is a futuristic reimaging of Homer’s Odyssey; old meets new in a stylish yet retro world of neon race strips and mechanical monsters.
Upon starting the game we are transported to Ithaca, Penelope’s home world. We soon learn that it is under siege by Poseidon who is seeking revenge for the death of his son at the hands of Odysseus, Penelope’s husband. After a brief tutorial, Penelope makes a deal with Poseidon to track down her love in exchange for sparing her kingdom, and the odyssey begins.

Highly recommended based on concept alone. Sure, it’s short and controls don’t always feel precise (specifically when bouncing on enemies), but with a great soundtrack and dreamscape ambience coupled with intriguing platforming elements that leave little margin for error, there doesn’t exist a worthwhile 3D game quite like it: If nothing else, play it for the very last level of the game, which is exhilarating enough on its own to warrant a purchase at a discount price.

Hello Kitty and Sanrio Friends Racing
What is there to say about this lovable, hello kitty themed racer. Other than it is an unfinished game?
There are several incomplete maps, with textures jutting out from side to side the water doesnt even touch the walls of the map so there are just gaps, your racer is constantly being drowned by water. They are selling this for $20 keep that in mind. Are you familiar with other games being sold for the same price? like Fallout 3 and New Vegas GOTY for the same price.
Now enough of the textures, we can forgive that, its a kid game, kids dont know quality from crummy. How about the AI, is the game challenging? Well to answer that no. Most of the maps the computers just get stuck to a wall and stop moving.

I recommend this game to all kitten fans and achievement hunters! A great way to spend your time racing against friends while on some awesome kawaii characters! Note the game has NO story just casual racing. The game simply looks adorable and was a lot of fun to 100% =3

I’m more on the gameplay side and not the story so i’m skipping out on that.
Playing since release and still having fun even if online’s dead.
The Good
–———
All the levels/stages look gorgeous more so Tokyo Resort at night, beautiful level! (even if the maps small)
Interesting weapons and abilities they use.
The jets look awesome plus you can dye them and sticker them if you like.
Same with the ladies, dye hair, tan, even change their iris color.
Mixing characters will give different buffs for your jets when doing tricks which is pretty neat.

Cons:

Laughable difficulty and AI

Generic storyline

Lack of substance
Mario Kart, jet skis, and anime girls. Combine all three and you get Kandagawa Jet Girls, the latest offering from the same studio that does the Senran Kagura series. As a fan of that series, I had to check this one out.

GENSOU Skydrift
Fans of Touhou, Sonic Riders and/or Mario Kart Double Dash (or 8 if you think about it another way) rejoice: you have a game that, while small and a tad light on content, tries to accommodate these diverse qualities into one package. You have your Touhous. You have your anti-gravity track-design. And you have a tag-team mechanic - albeit one that doesn’t seem quite intuitive and might’ve done better with more explanations about some of the finer mechanics that underpin it. The way items are attained and gotten also is a little unorthodox and takes getting used to if you are used to fixed item box placement on tracks like I was.

Before I knew it, I racked up over 400 hours in this game. If that’s not the sign of a good game, I don’t know what is, so I figure it’s high time I give it thumbs up.
Starting off, it’s a simple but solid fun racer, 2 story mode campaigns to play through with a 3rd currently in development. If you want to go deeper, though, the online races and time attack modes coupled with this game’s surprising level of technical depth are what have really kept me with it for hundreds of hours.
The basics are you put two 2hus together (or the same one twice) and one surfs through the tracks on the other with the option to spend a small amount of spell meter to switch to the other at any time for a boost of speed and a change in stats. Spell meter can also be spent to roll for an item. The items you get are usually typical kart racer type things, but with full meter and enough time passed, you can pull a character specific Last Word spell with powerful race changing effects. Strategizing on how to use meter and when to go for and use a LW adds a nice level of depth to races and keeps things feeling fresh as you try and race against different characters.

Giana Sisters: Dream Runners
Funny game with good graphic and music. I played with my daughter for about 2 hours, and it was amazing. I can recommend this game.

sadly i can’t recommend this. it felt like a game that needed major polish. Yes its very similar to speedrunners. the artwork was fine. it just felt clunky/lagging a bit and even felt the controls weren’t really reacting when you used them. if the devs actually focused on it then it could be a decent game. also you’re limited on characters. there isn’t many to choose from at the start. you can’t even switch to one of the other sisters unless someone takes first place at the beginning of playing it.

Horse Riding Deluxe 2
So far I really love this game, the graphics are pretty, I like that it’s open world and even if I haven’t gotten around to explore everything yet (still a bunch of HRD coins, dogs and wild horses missing) I already had a great time riding around! I love that you need to use the signs and the map to find your way around and to the villages.
What I also really like is that you can go swimming with your horse, I don’t think I ever played a horse game where you could do that before!
The races are challenging enough but not so challenging that you can’t win gold and they have somewhat varying degrees of difficulty which I like.

Another very interesting, enjoyable horse game!
I played the first Horse Riding Deluxe and really enjoyed it, so I was quite excited to see a second game and I wasn’t disappointed!
There are a lot of similarities between the first and second game, so I won’t go into as much detail in my review for this one as I did the first.
I’ve been looking for reasonable horse games for a long time and I’ve tried many of them. This game is one of the closest ones I’ve found to what I’ve been looking for.

Nirvana Pilot Yume
I love the concept for this game - visual novel + SkyRoads (which was an amazing DOS game where you piloted a little space car hopping along interstellar highways) is such a good, fresh idea. Nirvana Pilot Yume also throws in a great synthwave soundtrack as well as an artistic style that reminds me of 80s anime and vaporwave music videos. The visual novel aspect of the game is really well written, and the dialogue is enjoyable and the sex scenes natural and non-cringy.
The racing sections are a little rough at the moment - I think my biggest problem is that the tracks are REALLY hard, or at least the difficult bumps up dramatically after the first track, which is dirt easy. It’s quite hard to see what exactly is coming your way, because the vantage point is directly at the horizon whereas in SkyRoads, you had somewhat more of an overhead view, and thus more time to react and move your ship around obstacles. In Nirvana Pilot Yume, I feel like there’s almost no time to react at all because stuff is coming at you so fast, and the collision detection is VERY sensitive. The brake option also doesn’t seem to do much at the moment but pull the camera in closer, and currently when I try slowing down in all tracks after the first one, the speed meter at the top doesn’t change. (Not sure if this is a bug or not.)

I recently received this game for free as a curator connect offer for my group Visual novel, JRPG, Anime. First of all, this visual novel is an adult eroge visual novel with a few NSFW CGs. For those who don’t mind adult visual novels, read on.
This romance visual novel with arcade racing and platforming segments by Dev9k features a male protagonist Mitur Aldaine. Mitur graduated from an Academy and became the greatest racer of Alba Proxima and an Eye in a futuristic world where territorial contests between different orbital stations are decided by races among spaceships.
