Jump/Die/Live
THIS IS THE BEST GAME THAT I’VE EVER PLAYED SO FAR.
THIS GAME IS WHAT SEPARATES MEN FROM BOYS.
CURRENTLY STUCK AT LEVEL 29, OMG IT’S SO HARD.
YOU THOUGHT SUPER MEAT BOY WAS COOL? WELL, YOU’RE NOTHING BUT A SISSY IF YOU THINK SO.
GO TRY BEATING THIS GAME, INSTEAD OF BEATING THE MEAT, BOY.
IF I WORKED AT IGN, I’D GIVE 10/10. BUT WE ALL KNOW THAT ONLY FAT SISSIES WORK IN THERE.
THAT’S WHY I’M NOT WORKING AT IGN.
AMAZING GAMEPLAY, VERY ADDICTIVE. SPECTACULAR MUSIC. SMOOTH ANIMATIONS. 100% SELF MADE ASSETS.

Complete asset flip trash. No window/full screen option, no resolution settings, no audio settings, no settings at all.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I6k-36Qj44c
Looks, plays and feels like a zero effort asset flip, though I couldn’t find it with a brief search on the Unity Asset Store. This does NOT mean that I am wrong however in my feelings that is an asset flip. I’ve been doing this many, many years now, and It feels very low effort.
All it takes to see the amount of care this developer has for this game is to look at the two sentence description of the game on the store page with no details at all. .. A developer who actually took enough care to make this would likely care enough about it to write more on the Steam store page. ..Just sayin'

Ho-Ho-Home Invasion
A fun, charming little indie game for the Christmas season. It’s short, but enjoyable, and really easy to get all of the achievements on. All in all, I’d say it’s one of those rare games that’s worth more than what they’re charging for it.
Let’s be honest, ‘Ho-Ho-Home Invasion’ is not a complicated stealth game. I’d go so far as to say it’s a pretty good introduction to the stealth genre. It has no complex mechanics which on one hand means that it’s easy for even beginners to pick up, but on the other means it lacks depth for anyone more experienced in the genre.

This game is pretty great, especially for something free. You really get to experience the stress of being a home inva… of being Santa Claus. The 5th level in particular is really well done. It’s the last level, but easily the one that really solidifies the concept with lots of moving parts and things to keep aware of to not be caught.
I played the first few levels with m/k, but finished with controller and felt both work pretty well. I prefer the controller for this one though. The music is fitting, but has some jarring looping. That could have been better, and there’s not a lot of use for the peaking around the corners ability. Since you have the map which lets you see everything around. Maybe a hard mode where it disables the map would make that more useful though. Sometimes your visible overhead view isn’t as useful as the one you see on the map.

This game is very challenging and full of features.

I really liked the psychedelic theme mixed with a change of colors and that crazy drops effect gave a unique identity to the game, but for me the coolest thing is how the theme of each stage relates to the gameplay, sensational game!

Contrary to what the store page tells you, this is neither a platformer nor a puzzle game (that, with some other blatant lies in there made me seriously wonder if they accidentally pasted there a description of some other game.)
It is a typical “don’t touch the walls” maze game for people with steady hand (nothing brain teasing about that.)
The only redeeming quality this game has, is that unlike some other games of this genre, they bothered to actually have somewhat good looking visuals. Sadly, it’s completely wasted, as everything else is just broken.

Let It Go - How to realize your dreams

Took me a good while to figure out how to do everything, but it was worth it in the end. The dream I ended up realising was amazing (which was “COOKIES”, if you must know)! That speedrun mode is nerve-racking though, goddang, lol.
Really good game overall though, most unique thing I’ve seen in a hot minute! The concept kinda reminds me of Half Minute Hero (which I wasn’t a massive fan of), except everything is 3D and there’s no battles.
Can’t say I’m a massive fan of your progress fully resetting everytime you quit and come back though. New game and load game options would be nice.

Rainbow Billy: The Curse of the Leviathan
Rainbow Billy: The Curse of the Leviathan is a pacifist, pokemon-esque game with visuals inspired by old rubber hose cartoons and/or Cuphead. I would recommend playing with a controller.
The game was very fun and easy to play, the game also offers varying difficulty settings to make it easier if need be. I really enjoyed the battle system and the creature collection. For how few levels there are, there are quite a few creatures to befriend. Each of the creatures have two designs, one black and white and one in colour. I like the edgy look of the black and white designs better personally, but the colour designs look alright. You can level up your creatures only twice, but each creature has a backstory that’s revealed through levelling up, so there is a bit of content in those two level ups.

The adventures of Rainbow Brilly… sorry, I mean Billy, is one that very few people can’t relate to in some way. Whether it be from the semi-nostalgic art style, being a mixture of Paper Mario’s style and a lot of classic 2.5D games, or the various mini-games that count as “actions” for you to find, it’s hard to deny that this Rainbow has a color for everyone, even if it doesn’t seem quite in your spectrum.
For the positives of this game, I’d commend it’s simple, yet still interactive style of puzzles and encounters or “confrontations” as they’re called. Your objective in almost every fight is to color your opposition’s world; and I said opposition instead of opponent because there’s not really that many characters that are outright antagonistic as their point. They’re trouble souls, just like you, and your way of combating their gray outlook on life is to talk to them and use the support of your other friends and /their/ other friends to help them realize that there’s more to life than just one shade.
