Wow what an experience. Imagine everytime you try to play this game, the sound settings reset every level. Honestly, amazing design choice I couldn’t have thought of a better option :) (dev is working on this based on a recent post).

The levels are challenging, if not a little easy in certain areas, but I think that just adds to the frustration when you hit something comically difficult.

My clear time is 1.5 hours, this was after they added donut hell… this easily ate 30 minutes of time alone.

Honestly I love this game. The environment is awesome and cyberpunk. The puzzles draw you in and make you really look around your environment but aren’t too hard. And the controls are simple and fit really well.

Bought it for $0.5 and it was an interesting experience. You move your pistols/hands with the left/right mouse triggers and shoot with q/e. You turn by pressing a/d. Aiming feels similar to surgeon simulator. I like the concept but I wish it was more of an “on-the-rails” style shooter with this aiming system; I don’t like the manual turning and getting shot from all angles at once.

It has some issues:

Most importantly, there are targets in spots that you have to hit while moving (pressing a or d) because you cant target them on the screen. You can’t move your guns far enough to the left or right to hit the target without shooting while in motion. I’m not sure if this is intentional but it’s very annoying. This also happens with some of the low targets. You can’t crouch and aim down low enough to hit some targets, especially on the last piggy bank shooting gallery.

This is… a surprisingly impressive feat for one guy. After the halfway-point, Landon (the protagonist) has many physical changes, hair cut, clothes change, injuries, a completely new type of primary weapon, at one point getting straight up covered in blood… and I appreciate that the dev took the time to show all this in the pixel art. There’s WAY too much detail in the smaller areas here, for a game that’s been out for this long and received on the verge of literally no attention.

I have so many thoughts floating in my head about this game now that I’ve completed it, what made the story so baffling and what made the gameplay so… everywhere but here’s what I can really grasp:
