Blade of Arena - 劍鬥界域
I have updated this review on May 21st 2021’s update as I felt there was something particularly important to say about the new floating islands and its multiplayer.
A game of survival in an open world with combat centered around close combat using bladed weapons (hence the title). Yes, even hammers; their blades just don’t cut but beat your nose out of your face instead.
As someone who had already been bugtesting the game for months before the Early Release, here is my review:
-I find there to be a good deal of customization within the game. It starts in the menu where you can edit your character on various options. Most that can be colored uses a color wheel, which allows you to get a very specific shade of any color.

War of the Wasteland
Such a cool and fun game. Absolutely one of the best graphics for a Survival game out there. The 3rd person shooter controls are very responsive. The UI are awesome and don’t forget a great character customization. I would definitely recommend this game. NOW….Go find a backpack!!!!!

DO NOT BUY THIS GAME
I bought this game on sale for less then $2 and it was the biggest waste of money I have ever spent.
The only thing you can do in this game is run around, loot, kill robots that give you nothing and build pointless structures.
The best part of this game is the ability to uninstall it, as this game feels like it was made by a 2yo that watched a couple of Youtube tutorials, bought the cheapest asset pack they could find, and threw it together in 20 minutes.

The concept and stylization for this is pretty cool. Some kinks, but still definitely worth a play. I won’t lie the $3 price tag is wealth. Get it on

Zoological Era II
I don’t make reviews.
But this fucking game had me on the verge of depression and full melancholy at times and then smiling ear to ear, happy to realise how hopeful and humble life really is.
This game manages to make a masterful and deeply personal story about going through a downward spiral in your life, full of gut-wrenching sorrow and pain. While that’s an achievement on it’s own, I truly appreciate that this game also encapsulates finding light at the end of the tunnel, getting back on your own feet and finding hope in even the smallest victories.

Barbarian Brawl
SERVERS ARE DOWN!!!
DO NOT BUY!!!!
its an online only game with no server to connect thru.
Only need say 1 thing to show how great this game is:
__
100% achivements in under 3 hours.
–
Rest of the game time (8.1h) was just to score the All time high Top rank 2015-03-08

EDIT: Game had been abandoned nearly since launch but it is now LITERALLY unplayable as servers are down and there is no option for individual players to create listen or dedicated servers. This game should probably be removed from sale.

Great sense of humor
-

Cons:
– Real player with 13.0 hrs in game
Bunny Reversi
a nice simple game of basic strategy. outwit the other player.
– Real player with 14.5 hrs in game
Fun little game that can be played both in single and multiplayer modes
AI on the bot has three levels, though I didn’t find 1 or 2 particularly difficult to beat
There’s a host of fluffies - bunnies to chase and chickens to punt, amid a very pretty landscape around the board, as well as a fair few counters types, similar to solitaire cardbacks
I’ll admit this isn’t my kinda game, as I didn’t grow up with Goh or similar, so it took me a while to learn. If you get stuck here’s a tip:
! Turn on Hints, because rather like WSG if you want to lose just play in the middle; this game is won in the corners and edges

MekaFighters
Foreword: The game is under heavy development and is very much a work in progress. It’s being developed by one person currently and will take quite a bit of time to perfect and get right! You may encounter bugs, issues, and things that just don’t plain work. Should you not be ready for that experience, please wait until we are out of early access to consider to purchase the game. Thanks for even considering to support the game and cheers!
MekaFighters is a retro-stylized third-person shooter where you take control of a Meka Rider and their Meka as countries clash against one another in wars to maintain dominance in the world. Battle out against other players and emerge victorious outplaying and skillfully using your abilities to defend, attack, and destroy enemy mekas!
CURRENT FEATURES:
-
OUTPLAY YOUR OPPONENTS
With multiple Mekas (Characters) to play as, you have multiple opportunities to outsmart your opponents using Jet Propulsion or use each Mekas Unique Active ability.
-
RETRO STYLED GRAPHICS
Inspired by retro games, we use a bunch of flat colors and try to not have shadows and make every scene in the game popout.
-
TAKE ON OPPONENTS
In MekaFighters, we feature gamemodes where you can 1v1 somebody or team up with another player and face off against another 2 players! With even more gamemodes to come!
-

-
Wendy and JICE, the Light Bringers, can shoot a devastating beam of light that passes through everything it hits and upon contact with an enemy deals some damage and if enemies don’t exit the beam the damage is increased. Also, for each bullet they hit on an enemy, they deal additional damage.
-
Sed and SAIRO, the Shadow Fighters, can enter stealth for some time and then upon exiting gain the ability to shoot a laser shadow that deals tremendous damage upon contact. Sed and SAIRO also gain an increased fire rate and whenever entering stealth, gain bonus movement speed.
-
Nika and TERA, the Earth Users, can manifest a rock and throw it towards an enemy dealing damage based on distance traveled. Nika and TERA also passively have more damage, movement speed, and more resistances.
-
Khaleed and ZHEN, the Red Barons increase their damage output for a short duration and whenever they are low on health gain additional resistances for a short time before it goes on cooldown.
-
James and JK1, the Dawning Shadows increase their stats when their active ability, Dark Barrier is ongoing. Dark Barrier places a barrier in a small area that lasts for a few seconds, or whenever a certain amount of damage is dealt to them.
-
Gerard and AM3, the Widowmakers tremendously decrease their active ability’s cooldown at a cost of increasing the resources needed to use it as well as jump significantly higher and move faster. Their active ability is a projectile that deals damage based off of how much their target’s max health is and Gerard and AM3’s missing health.

Mini Royale
LEAVE NO MAN BEHIND
In Mini Royale, up to 50 toy soldiers fight for victory. The game is played in a children’s room, from a rather unusual perspective, full of exciting things to discover, and lots of weapons and equipment that will help you set yourself apart from the other players.
All players start on a toytrain that goes through the children’s room. Think carefully about when to jump off. Now weapons and equipment must be sought. The zone specifies where the players have to move during a round. But one thing is certain, in the end there can only be one winner.
Features:
-
10 unique weapons with different attachments, as well as grenades and med’s.
-
A grappling hook with which higher levels and areas such as a shelf or a box can be reached, as well as advantageous positions for long weapons
-
A zipline that allows you to cover greater distances on the map
-
An elevated platform that allows you to move up to higher positions
-
A vending machine where you can buy equipment in exchange for currency
-
A machine where you can upgrade your weapon levels for currency.
The following weapon levels can be found in the world:
- Gray, green, blue and gold (legendary), which each have better properties
Game modes:
-
In addition to the classic Battle Royale mode, we are working on other game modes that make the game experience different round by round.
-
Experience Mini Royale alone in SINGLE, DUO or SQUAD mode. Should one of your friends fall in battle, there will be ways to bring them back.

Star Control I and II
For starters, I have loved this game since playing it on my 3DO as a child, and being frustrated (along with my father and brother) because of the difficulty. I saw that this was on sale and bought it for nostalgic purposes, and to get a little bit of the beta for Origins. I started the first Star Conrol, and for its time, that was a fun game. Minus an alluring storyline and multiple outcomes of a vast galaxy when compared to the second, I keep that game for back up. Thrilled to start the second one again and delve into childhood wonderment and anguish I’m sure, I was beyond bummed to find out that the PC verson, even this UPDATED awesome steam launch, doesn’t have audio files for the characters and aliens you meet. . . . Huge bummer, I am praying that they get an update out there that ports over the amazing 3D0 voices, because it completely changes the games feel and narrative. Overall, still excited to get the chance to play this amazing game again, and discover all the races and hidden artifacts that my child mind was too ignorant to strive for. Recommend this game completely, but 3D0 OG’s, be prepared for a kick in the feels when that first Ur-Quan drone hails you.

While i don’t have much experience with StarControl1, like many i DO have experience with StarControl2!
In my opinion, not only SC is on the Top 5 Sci-Fi universes, but on the Top 10 of best games!
Now, StarControl is not for everybody, it’s very old for today’s standards, and it’s very clunky to play, the game is very Lore Based, there is Much talking and it can be VERY slow
But the game got Charm, a Cute but Dreary style shows an universe enslaved by a Cruel race, but also shows it has Beauty and Humor in it!

Star Control III
This game gets a lot of flak for not being Star Control II. However, on the whole it plays very well. The diplomatic puzzles are of the same calibre if not better, the Story is pretty much exactly where you’d expect the story to continue from the last game. On the whole, it’s pretty fun.
There are a few things in the game that disappoint, and on a replay 25 years after I originally played it, the come off as little more then a game that was rushed to market. Land grinding has been replaced with a colony building system which feels like they were trying to (poorly) copy civilization games (or maybe master of Orion?) games of the day. But managing colonies does little to speed the game along other then sacrificing ship production for fuel production if you manage to run out of gas. And that’s all the part of the game ads up to: establishing little more then an inter-stellar network of fuelling stations. There’s a lot of potential in this, but rather then fun at all it’s a meaningless chore and a distraction.

Like Star Control: Origins is a reinvention of Star Control II, Star Control 3 was (and is) a bad, mid-90s attempt to re-invent the original Star Control. I’m a big fan of the Star Control series and played them as a kid starting with SC1 in the early 90’s.
Gone is the Hyperspace with galactic borders of SCII and in comes the 3D starmap and colony building of Star Control 1, re-imagined with Accolade’s attempt at the “hyper realism” that was in vogue in the mid-late 90s. Colors, music, and art is all muted and gray, set in a new quadrant devoid of all life.
