AXYOS

AXYOS

This game is a pure example of what is wrong in the “Steam Greenlight” independent game industry. And mostly, what kind of trivial mistakes, the dervelopers, are doing in the process of developing an “indie game”.

First, about this “game”. It’s suppose to be a MOBA type FPS but the “game” is in this stage practically from the beginning with no actual or visable updates. The only visable change was the changing of the name of this “game” from RiP to AXYOS. Yes, I know that the “game” is in “Early Access” but it’s not, even, in an Alpha stage. I keep saying “game” with quotation marks because there is no game at all. Yes, the “game” looks like in the screen shots but that’s it. Only nice characters models, some weapons and some textures made with the UnReal DevKit. And that’s it!

The game itself? Great in appearance and has potential. However, that says little as many great games have been ruined by their publishers. And while in a single player game, that may not matter, in a multiplayer game, it is fundamental that the publishers understand the importance of not harassing their userbase. This review will not even touch how the game is at this point as with no players, you cannot adequately test a competitive multiplayer game.

This review will go briefly over what happened that I have to state the above:

Operation Airsoft Beta

The owner, who is also the only developer can’t do anything by him self and over 60% of the game is just a FPS template he bought, everything he has added is broken or stolen assets that he didn’t create himself

the game is broken everywhere you look and all the owner dose is ask for money to “fix” it, the games hit box’s for players are so broken it’s indescribable and he doesn’t seem to care at all, there is no real ADS (just a dot on the screen) and the very clunky moment makes the game enjoyable and almost unplayable.

I like the idea of the project. I want it to do well, but in it’s current state… there isn’t much to do. I messed around with it a bit but single player is the only real thing you can do at the moment without getting an organized group to play. I feel like this should gotten more development time before it was released. I can see the passion about this project, but there isn’t much to show for it at the moment in my own opinion. I say play for it bit just to mess around, but I say come back later when there is more content and it is fully developed.

Freefall Tournament

Freefall Tournament

Id say the game is dying but it has been very surprising that like 2/3rds of the servers are active the majority of the time, since i played this back in middleschool on Kongregate.com. Yeah its a Unity flash game essentially but still fun as crap to me, very nice to boot up real quickly and play a few games then jump off. One of the main features is that everyone has an auto-aim with holding right-mouse click, yeah sounds weird and it is but i cant aim for shit lol, and it puts more emphasis on timing of skills which i really like. Ive never played Tribes but in that game you can ski around real quickly, you can do that here too so it can lead to some really past paced and aerial battles. You can try it out for free on their website, just search like play freefall tournament or something, it is more laggy there so be warned.

This game is a F2P browser game (still is) which has been converted from Unity to WebGL due to a certain plugin being unsupported anymore. The reasoning behined the payment for this steam version is the increase in performance than what you would have in a browser. Plus it keeps the servers up.

The game is extremely fun to play once you master the games gravity mechanic as well as your average classes that can be compared to TF2 and other types of games. Ever wanted to be a medic and engineer at once? Pyro with wall hacks? Weild the power of Heavy’s chaingun and Soldier’s rocketlauncher? Then look no further.

Masked Shooters 2

Masked Shooters 2

I was only 47 years old. I loved Masked Shooters 2 so much, I had all the achievements, and DLC. I’d pray to Masked Shooters 2 every night before I go to bed, thanking for the incredible sound design and immersive gamepley. “Masked Shooters 2 is love”, I would say, “Masked Shooters 2 is life”. My dad hears me and calls me a casual. I knew he was just jealous for my devotion of Masked Shooters 2. I called him a bitch. He slaps me and sends me to go to sleep. I’m crying now and my face hurts. I lay in bed and it’s really cold. A warmth is moving towards me. I feel something touch me. It’s Masked Shooters 2. I’m so happy. He whispers in my ear, “Knife punch sound effect”. He grabs me with his powerful masked hands, and puts me on my hands and knees. I spread my Blaser R93 for Masked Shooters 2. Masked shooters 2 penetrates my defenses. It hurts so much, but I do it for Masked Shooters 2. I can feel my eardrums tearing as my eyes start to water. I push against the force of his RPG explosion. I want to please Masked Shooters 2. He plays deafening music in my ears, as he fills my body with holes. My dad walks in. Masked Shooters 2 looks him straight in the eye, and says, “Shooter 2984 has left”. Masked Shooters 2 leaves through my window. Masked Shooters 2 is love. Masked Shooters 2 is life.

A: Most likely, but no promises or details yet.

Q: Will there be a single-player campaign?

A: No, certainly not straight away.

Q: What’s on the roadmap?

A: Some of the things you can expect during Early Access and beyond include bug fixes, ever-improving weapon and map balance, new weapons and attachments, new maps, new game modes, ranking system, ever-improving visuals, weapon and character skins. We will be upgrading the game to Unreal Engine 5 as soon as it becomes feasible, which would bring improved performance, anti-aliasing, audio and lighting, among other things. Of course, we will listen to the community regarding gameplay-relevant changes. A more detailed roadmap will be available later.

Q: Will there be a Battle Royale mode?

A: Possibly, sometime after the initial release. It’s not a priority item at the moment.

Q: Will there be loot boxes?

A: No loot boxes. We plan to have cosmetic items at some point, all of them will be available to purchase with in-game currency.

Q: What game engine is used for Battle Ready?

A: Unreal Engine 4.26

Q: Who are Wolf Tango Games?

A: WolfTangoFox, working with several talented artists, and a close team of friends and gaming buddies. Being a small team allows for a very open dialog, and a majority vote from the community is enough to implement a change in the game. No hidden agendas, no bureaucracy and no shareholders to please, just gamers making a game. Follow WolfTangoFox on Twitch if you want to see the developer play the game and chat about it.

Note: All features and information subject to change as the result of testing and community feedback.

the worst game i ever played. such a boring empty load of crap. Exactly the reason why KIDS shouldnt be allowed access to this sort of stuff what a waste of time. I tried to be friendly to the developer but he was being extremly rude, like i said KIDS

Real player with 2.6 hrs in game

Element Battle Royale is small BR game from a single indie developer, but it was at least released on Steam, so I thought about giving it a shot. Unfortunately despite queuing on multiple occasions I couldn’t get into a game. I was a bit more optimistic to play Element since it only required 2 players to start a game (you can’t really require less than that), but even that proved too much of a challenge. I even convinced a friend, that we would both queue up, but the game refused to start a lobby anyway (maybe it is currently broken or servers shutdown?)

To All A.V.A fans! We are aiming to open A.V.A on the Planned Release Date!

**We are launching Ava on Steam at the request of many global fans!

Enjoy the classic FPS game once again with redesigned features!**

Class system

Each class has unique advantages and disadvantages against other classes.

Players are able to acquire skills to enhance the unique characteristics of the classes they choose.

Pointman

Specialized in close-range combat, Pointman is a fast and agile member of a team.

Pointman’s main roles are reconnaissance and attacking enemies from their backs.

The Pointman is equipped with customizable Submachine Guns (SMG), Shotguns (SG), and unique gear.

When your enemy needs a “nice” surprise, Pointman is there to deliver them a lethal present.

Rifleman

Equipped with Assault Rifles (AR), bullet stopping armor, and throwable items, rifleman brings destruction to the enemy.

Riflemans can respond to any types of situations on the battlefield by engaging and neutralizing the enemy.

Your enemy team can run, but they can’t hide from the Rifleman.

Sniper

Equipped with a Sniper Rifle (SR), the Sniper is specialized in long distance combat.

Snipers provide effective attack and defense of certain areas by taking down enemies and protecting teammates.

Before being destroyed, your enemy team won’t even know they are being watched.

Modes/Maps

With various types of modes and more than 30 maps, players can play their own unique mission on various battlefields with friends.

Modes

Annihilation - Based on the death match rule, players on two opposing teams need to reach a score within a limited time.

Demolition - The NRF forces must survive and eliminate all EU forces or defuse the bomb. EU forces must successfully plant and detonate the bomb, or eliminate the enemy team to win a round.

Escort - The NRF forces must damage the tank that is being escorted by firing RPGs. The EU forces must escort the tank to the goal. When the tank is damaged, it must be repaired to move on.

AI Mission - A group of players comes together to complete the mission by fighting AI-NRF soldiers and reaching objectives.

Domination - Both teams compete for domination over a target. The team with higher domination gauge or the one in control of the target when both sides have the same gauge will win.

Escape - EU troops head to a waiting boat or vehicle. NRF troops must stop the EU troops from reaching their escape vehicle.

Weapon Customization

The weapon customization system allows you to build your own weapons. You can use the various weapons in different styles to suit your shooting needs. Customization parts include dot sight, scope, barrel, grip, ammo, grenade launcher, silencer, laser pointer etc.

Mad Combat Marines

Mad Combat Marines

Mad combat marines is the latest game from Freezenova. And I have to say its really good. Its cheap to buy and you get a lot for your money. Graphics are great, very stable gameplay, cars drive great with smooth controls, Maps are large with plenty of hiding places for sniping and very pleasing to the eye with the good colours. You can choose what colour kit your marine uses. AI is intelligent in this gameIts a third person shooter and although I’m mainly a FPS gamer I actually really enjoy this. I hope this takes off and we get more players involved.

Real player with 9.4 hrs in game

I like the big picture. It mixes a third person shooter with cars and has simple but funny combats.

Don’t get wrong ideas, this isn’t a GTA.

This is a humble game that gets its point: everyone has the same weapons, can do the same actions and get to the top score, be it on kills or events.

I think there is space for lots of improvements, such as balancing the RPG weapon, giving less ammo for every live and maybe you could get some of the victim spoils of war. Also the sniper rifle isn’t worth to be used at any point, since its damage is low compared to other weapons and it’s easily dodgeable. Neither pistol is worth being used. Jump should also get some nerf because it’s really hard to hit people jumping all the time freely. Cars should be more resistant and be able to take more shots of all weapons (even RPG) before it explodes; also cars shouldn’t lose its speed after you trample someone. I miss a knife or punches or some melee combat. But the worst point I noticed is that you can’t change your weapon if you need to reload the current one.

Masked Forces

Masked Forces

You have not lived until you’ve played Masked Forces.

The moment you see the title screen flash, you will be hooked for life. The UI (User Interface) is unmatched compared to anything else on the market, it’s intuitive and snappy, just works flawlessly. Although, the real magic happens the moment you step foot onto the battlefield. My first match played in the map Factory, bullets are whistling past my ears in every direction, my fellow Shooters are helplessly ducking from enemy fire, I hear explosions coming from the west, I stand guard, my buddy is wounded badly, I try in the best of my ability to provide cover, but alas it was too late. I see a grenade cloud over, like the first rain cloud before a storm - A white flash, deafening noise, silence. Their limbs, dismembered in only fractions of a second. I will never forget your name, Shooter8438.

Real player with 1525.9 hrs in game

This game is a port of an online Unity game. That being said, it can certainly entertain for anywhere from ten minutes to many hours depending on your standards. The playerbase is nearly nonexistent and very unskilled. The campaign is a joke, simply 3 mission types (survive for X seconds, kill X enemies, win a team/solo match with bots) on repeat endlessly with increasing numbers. Grenades in this game are essentially RPGs and kill in one (AOE) hit. This brings down the multiplayer to a barely playable level. That being said, this game has potential as a timewaster when you simply want to fool around with an FPS that can run on any machine and is very noncompetitive. In the end, I simply cannot recommend this game, but if you need a game to kill time… hey, the price isn’t too high at least.
