Austen Translation
This is a cute, casual game inspired by Jane Austen’s works and the culture of her time. Each game is fairly quick to play (about 10-15 minutes), which turned me off at first, but then I decided I liked that since I can play it even if I don’t have much time. I love the graphic style, and the game play is amusing. It did take me a few tries before I really got the hang of it, so don’t get discouraged it you’re confused at first.
I was a little worried about replay value, but the game has more variety than you’d expect at first glance. Each game has the socialites attending four events, each of which is briefly described. The events are selected at random, so you can play several games in a row without much overlap. (There are some random variables in the descriptions also, where the names and preferences of different bachelors are inserted.) I’ve played probably two dozen times or more and there are some events I’ve only seen once or twice.

Greatest Regency-era YAWHG-like in the Galaxy!
Alright, so you’ve played The YAWHG or Monster Prom and want more of the same, right? Well, sorry to disappoint, but this game is far fancier and schmancier than anything else EVER. One might say, all other games are NOCD.
It is a truth universally acknowledged that if one wishes to make an Austen homage, one better get the language right. And by turf n' thunder, Austen Translation accomplishes this and more. The geniuses at Worthing & Moncrieff parrot Miss Austen’s prose, pacing, style, themes, memes, AND manage to get the historical details spot on.

Don’t Cheat On Me
Pretty fun and funny game, I think the wife and neighbor pick-ups need to be balanced, the disco is way to easy to use and other abilities could use some balancing but the game just came out so let’s see what the future holds.

Accel Magician Mimi
If you look at the rest of the developer’s games, it appears they either used a kit and reskinned it, or made one game and reskinned it, multiple times. Keep this and the fact I’m basing my recommendation on the sale price I obtained it at (59 cents).
Game only consists of 3 stages and bosses, which can easily be completed in under an hour. However, there is 2 player battle mode and co-op, adding to the replayability. Controls are responsive. No optimization issues noted. Difficulty progression is smooth and different enemies have varied enough attack patterns to keep the game interesting.

Paperback: The Game
I have the physical copy of this and enjoy it - so I got this just for time passing and a bit of practice.
AI is ok and can be a bit of a challenge.
A repeated game lock up issue when dragging cards seems to have been resolved.
This version is helpful as my partner has trouble shuffling and so online is a preferred method of play for us.
Would be nice to have some of the game expansions as options, and also for the music to be longer or more varied. It gets repetitive

Deck building word game - what a fantastic idea! build words from the letters in your hand and use the score to buy more letters to add to your deck. I’ve looked at the physical version of this for a long time, but most of my family isn’t that interested in word games. This was an easy way to jump into it, and I’m winning them over :) great art, great mechanics, and the AI makes it fun to play solo. Can’t recommend it enough.

Divinity: Original Sin 2 - Definitive Edition
At the time of writing this I am at 353 hours played. My first play through of this game was clocked in around ~130 hours. This is with out doubt, one of the best video games I have ever played and for at least one of the characters had me experience one of my most cathartic moments in gaming.
Story: Takes place ~1,000 years after the first Divinity Original Sin game. I didn’t play the first and you don’t really need to to enjoy this game. You’ll pick up on some story things here and there if you read about it. You’re a Source (powerful magic) user and using source draws in the void (bad things) so you are sent to an island to ultimately die off. Story follows you through different areas in the game with different factions fighting that you can side with. Picking your character from a prebuilt gets you added story (one of the 6 listed below).

My Full Play through here: https://youtu.be/Y6xPSeNdk1g
I’m mainly recommending this cause I know there’s a type of player that loves this genre and likes insane difficulty and this is a good game for those players, I AM NOT one of those players. I had to lower the difficulty to 2 stars your character has the second biggest hit box in the game following boxes that noggin is massive. Maneuverability is low you can jump shots but you move almost no where during the jump so if the enemy shoots 2 projectiles you’re probably getting dunked on. Your attack doesn’t upgrade even though you get a special move so the enemies have a better attack in my opinion cause it has a larger radius than your full screen attack and goes full screen you have a larger radius attack, but it’s a half screen attack and your hit box is bigger so get got. There’s no score on screen so who knows what determines what got me a D rank, but at least I was able to beat it on the not easiest difficulty. I like the visuals and the sprites and the music is nice but this game is not for casual players of this genre IMO.

Great game! I would like to jump some cutscenes and to control the cue stick with mouse. and mouse im main menu too. But this do not make the game less fun.

Casual Challenge Players Club is a very simple, classic arcade style pool game. Remember back in the day when you would go to the local fare with your parents, and you would have the little arcade with the 2P Pusher machines, those mechanical horse racing games, and an assortment of fruit machines and arcade games. Well, you will also remember that there was always super simple pool game arcade machine. Well this is basically like that.
There are 4 game modes, 2 modes for single player and 2 modes for multiplayer.

The Ultimate Trivia Challenge
While the game is fun and addicting, it is also very frustrating as some of the answers do not correspond with question. An example would be… Who was the 42nd president and it would give you multiple actresses to choose from. In the spelling catagory sometimes the answers would have the same answers. However, if you chose the right answer it would be considered wrong because you picked the “wrong” box
This game needs a serious overhaul of it’s answers.

I think this is a fun trivia game, I love the party mode and was able to stream it on Mixer without a problem. My favorite mode would have to be the sound bites. I was able to play this game for over 3 hours without getting bored or having things seem repeatitive. My friends and I laughed so hard at each others rushed wrong answers. We truly had a lot of fun playing it. The biggest issue with this game if I am to be honest is the amount of errors it has in it. Spelling, grammar, not correct options, wrong answers, etc. I think it takes away from the game a bit but in the end for $5 it’s still fun to play with friends.

Tanto Cuore
I’m a mega fan of this franchise, owning every expansion to date, and a backer of the 10th anniversary kickstarter. This game was included in that campaign!
This “simulator” has a lot more than I was ever going to expect. There is a single player campaign with unlockables, including some of the promotional cards. There’s some light VA and other touches that ad a nice sense of flare for an already functional game.
I have some nitpicks about my experience with the single player campaign. The first couple of games ease you into some of the concepts, including the optional goals. Later, however, the CPUs reveal themselves to be rather… interesting. Their behaviors are not always consistent, and some of the decisions they make are nonsensical; often buying low cost cards when they’re able to afford high costs. This worsens in larger games with more players, and balloons when the game gives you the optional goals of doing “x amount of things” in games that often end much too quickly to achieve. Instead, 100% the single player campaign turns into something of a slot machine, playing game after game hoping that the CPUs strategy and behaviors aren’t going to end the game as you still need to employ five more cards for that last star.

Tanto Cuore is one of my favorite games to play. Over the last year I’ve been very disappointed I couldn’t play with friends and that I couldn’t go to conventions to play Tanto Cuore. I can only beat my husband at this game so many times before he’s going to refuse to play with me. I was at my wits end because I own all of the table top games and I don’t want my ability to win to put him on the verge of insanity. I am delighted to see the game is out. I bought it and just played by myself for two hours. You may have saved my marriage.
