I’m playing this now with 3 friends and I have to say…I’m very surprised! This is actually a real fun game to play in a group and a great time killer when solo. I run 3 screens and it works fine. More features/DLC would be cool or even Workshop. For the price you can’t lose IMHO.

Bumper Boss

Bumper Boss

Bumper Boss is a 2-4 player local multiplayer party game.

Battle your friends in 2 modes:

Bump Boss: Where you bump your way to the top and show everyone else who the boss is! Don’t wait too long! If games last over 2 minutes the platforms start to fall!

Soldat 2

Soldat 2

It’s a good, fun game, but still lacks a fair bit of refinement.

Hit registration is absolutely horrendous at the moment. You throw a knife at someone, you can see it hits the mark, because it then stops and drops to the floor, but no damage is done.

Similar thing with sniper rifles. You see the bullet pass through the opponent and it does zero damage.

Grenades. Sometimes you hit a person with all 3 grenades and they still don’t die, but they throw just one back at you and poof, you’re dead.

Player balancing system is just silly. When you join a server with an even number of players, you become the poor soul that is going to be tossed back and forth between teams whenever the team you’re in exceeds the other team’s score by 2 (flag caps or bases occupied). You might get thrown into the opposing team just as they’re about to lose. Lovely.

Real player with 71.2 hrs in game

I wouldn’t recommend buying this, even if it’s for nostalgia purposes.

The game is literally dead, whenever I attempt to play there’s noone online on any servers - I’ll join a game and play with bots for a while and occasionally 1 or 2 people may join but then leave after 10-15 minutes.

There’s no Oceanic community, that’s for sure. The only community is a few Russians and Germans that sometimes populate their server, but other than that - it’s essentially dead.

There’s also no effort to boost the player population, such as creating communities for specific regions, simple things such as in the Soldat 2 Discord you can create a rank specifically for their region so people can tag @Oceania or @Australia “let’s populate a server” - there’s none of that or anything close.

You Died but a Necromancer revived you

Disclaimer :

I’m good friend with one of the developers.

And I made the french and portuguese translation for free because I wanted to support him and I love the game.

You Died but a Necromancer Revived You, is a small but brilliant indie game with lots of heart.

Basically it’s about using only “up, down, left, right” to get trough spiraling pathways full of devious traps. You will die a lot, but will be back instantly on your feet (thanks Mr. Necromancer). The levels are randomly generated but it’s really well balanced and it’s uncommon for them to feel unfair.

yeah sorry as much as i can see that the people who made this game really gave it their all i have to say every fucking approach to game design taken here was for the worst

its incredibly short but its padded out by its teetering difficulty to a tremendous degree so much so even on my first time i still beat it under 30 minutes, using difficulty to make a game arbitrarily longer is just lame, doesn’t help that this tactic is taken even further by making it randomized which just makes it so youre guaranteed not to ever really get a complete feel for the gameplay, so there’s just this static cap for getting better at things, it takes a warioware approach of having to scan everything quick enough while being under a time limit for every level but it just puts a bandage on a fundamentally flawed choice of game design to make it feel harder than it is

I saw this game being played by a popular youtuber, so I gave it a try. The campaign was short and sweet tutorial. The races seem simple, yet fun to play. I cannot give this game a perfect review because I feel that the build was poorly optimized. Every time I play my game skips and drops frames, making micro intensive battles impossible. Great for casual play. Towers + Siege = Overpowered. 4/5

Real player with 20.1 hrs in game

I wasn’t sure whether or not to give this a negative or positive review. Overall its a great game with a great concept, however, the units never seem to get the idea of an order. Sometimes when initiating an instruction for a unit, it doesn’t respond. When your unit is attacking a building and an enemy unit attacks it, the unit stops attacking the building and chases the unit that attacked it! It really is frustrating when you have to constantly tell the unit to go back to doing something you want them to do and not get kited by towers and rangers. This is most likely a bug, but its a very major and annoying bug. A game that could’ve lasted 5 minutes turns into a 20 minute game because of this. It really is annoying.

Line War

Line War

Line War is a multiplayer Real-Time Strategy (RTS) game heavily influenced by other strategy genres including 4X, War Game, Auto Battler, and Real-Time Tactics.

  • Endless number of asymmetric procedural worlds

  • Players select their starting territories in an innovative and fair “picking phase”

  • You draw commands that units will follow

  • Reduced micro-management, Actions per Minute (APM) is not important

  • No control of individual units, they all follow commands and directives

  • Traditional, recognizable, and well balanced militaristic units

  • Conquer territories, build towns, cities, industries, ports, and trade routes to earn capital

  • Produce energy with refineries and powerplants for sustained mobility of tanks, air force, and navy

  • Visual commands

This game has a never-before-seen approach that lets you focus on drawing commands and executing a strategy rather than managing individual units. Chain commands and execute orchestrated operations for coordinated attacks against your opponent. This command system sets Line War apart from other strategy games.

  • Familiar Units

Line War dares to break the trend and has only one race with familiar units to widen the audience and ease the learning curve. Each unit has a distinct and carefully balanced role.

  • Strategy

Line War focuses on strategy. We’ve designed the game around the typical RTS-problems to remove the steep learning curve and need for ultra-fast micro-management so you can focus on planning and executing a strategy.

During Early Access; Line War is a multiplayer-only game! We will add single-player campaigns for the full release in 2023. As an Early Access customer, you will receive the single-player campaigns for free once the game is fully released.

It is actually a very nice game, once you get into it. Provides very fun gameplay with a beautiful soundtrack, and I like the fact that it has local co-op to make the game more fun and a bit easier with the extra help. The game has a lot of potential to improve and add new things in further updates. I would personally recommend a third player local co-op option, and I think some other people would too. Thou I do understand that it would have to squeeze the players health and weapon stamina bars, making them very small. Hopefully there is an alternative solution to this problem. My second suggestion is just to add some new enemies, and maybe a weapon too. But all in all, so far this has been an extremely fun game for me and my friends to play together, and I hope that there will be updates very soon:)

Real player with 42.0 hrs in game

This game is very fun and hard to master but once you get the hang of it. The game somehow becomes even more challenging as you try to beat the it under 10 minutes I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys a casual play-through. I’m looking forwards to further development in the future.
