Versus: Battle of the Gladiator
6/29/16
My rating 9/10
Pros:
pvp and a few solo missions: help get started with armor and weapons.
+modifiable weapons and armor.. you can enhance your weapons to swing faster. hit harder. and a few other things you can also enhance your armor depending on the roll. it has. so you can have more hp. more stamina to swing your weapons endure more attacks. before breaking. and yes your armor breaks in combat. but is put back to normal after death.
+Custom Combos & Finishers: yes this game has custom combos. so you can edit your normal attacks and create your own combos. and hybrid them with your strong attacks.

Edit 19/9/16: This game WAS fun. Now theres only ever 4 types of people on. 1) People who have been playing this game for awhile and are friendly(ish). 2) People who have been playing this game for awhile and are human garbage. 3) People who have been playing this game for awhile, enjoy it A LOT, but know it’s a sinking ship. 4) People who want to try to get into this game but the lack of players and amount of garbage players around make that decision waiver.
An intresting game with a fun fighting mechanic and satfisfying action. Getting it for less the $10 was a steal for myself, and I believe I have gotten my moneys worth.

Fight Angel Special Edition
I am glad I was able to get this for free. I think I’d be pretty upset if I had already bought the original game then had to pay for this too. It is an exact copy of the original except for two things. The faces look more anime style and there is a dance session thing once you beat the game’s story mode. I actually prefer the art style of the original game over the special edition one, but I can understand how others might like the anime style more. The graphics seem a bit better. No new clothing items or characters as of yet. I was sort of hoping for at least a small amount of new stuff. Many of the things I mentioned in the original game still apply here. Overall a terrific game that has smooth controls. If you are looking for a tactical fighting game, something in the realm of MK or Street Fighter, then this is not the place for that. There are some fighting forms much better than others and all the ultimate attacks are a one button push. This doesnt bother me, because I didnt buy the game thinking it would be an amazing fighting game. I got it for a couple other reasons, hopefully I dont need to explain. I love the customization detail level in this and I hope we see more clothing items, and wishful thinking on fixing the clipping issues with clothing items and hair. Also I like the camera control thing at the end of a match so you can look around at your character after your victory and/or down at your fallen opponent. It kinda sucks I have to unlock all the clothing items and hair all over again. Still cant type in the letter “i” when naming characters. Great game and hopefully will see more content soon.

To start I didn’t own the previous edition of the game. I found this game randomly but I must say despite a few minor (mostly audio) bugs I was surprised how this game plays.
The gameplay is very similar to older Street Fighter games so I was more than happy about that. The gameplay is mostly smooth and it is very little to no input lag. The game also does feature Online PVP even tho the column with the tags on the Steam Store does not say so. Overall well made fighter game by an indie studio that’s worth the price.

封灵档案
As much as I enjoy this game and will continue to play it I can not recommend it mostly due to the lag and the hidden mechanics that are not explained or might be bugs. These are the only 2 issues i have with the game everything else characters, maps, items, cosmetics, the mechanics that are explained etc. are pretty good and outweigh the negatives.
The negatives being the devs not communicating outside of their respective apps. Every update fixing some bugs but also introducing more bugs then what they fixed. The balancing between Agents and Fiends. Spawns for Agents/Fiends always being in the same location that goes for ward placement as well and the 2 issues I mentioned in the first paragraph.

This game should surpass dead by daylight Not because of content/boob physics/How polished it is or will be but it should because the expansion of gameplay dead by daylight currently or inevitably will have… Here the expansion of the game play isn’t just small minimum changes or things that should be there by default

Nitroplus Blasterz: Heroines Infinite Duel
Very awesome fighting game.
It’s a cross-over fighting game, but I was able to enjoy it with no knowledge of most characters when I first started.
It’s an anime fighter, as one could tell from the anime artstyle. Thus, you will encounter some mechanics from similar games such as air-dashes, a focus on long and flashy combos, burst and roman cancel systems, etc.
Like other fighters of this subgenre, normals are split into three buttons: A, B, and C, representing Light, Medium, and Heavy attacks. This game also include additional buttons D and E for even slower and stronger normals, as well as a universal dash-cancelling system.

When I was spending a year away from my regular school at my local community college, I always hung out in a room on campus where there were guys playing YuGiOh, Vanguard, emulators via a Nintendo Wii, and one guy always playing various fighting games.
There were 3 I remember the most, Tekken 6, BlazBlue (Don’t remember which one though), and this game. I played it with him a few times, liked what I saw, but I couldn’t get my hands on it, lack of a Playstation to put the disc into and all that. So, when I woke up to see that this game got released on steam and I had a coupon given to me because of some cross-promotion with Skullgirls (another phenomenal fighter), I spent little time adding the money to my steam wallet to pick this one up.

Telefrag VR
I didn’t know what to expect since it’s hard to take classic arena shooter experience to VR. I was afraid that the movement would be clunky, but I’ve switched to smooth movement style and when I got used to aiming and firing it brought true joy.
I consider this game as an attempt to do something bigger in the future, something that other game developers can try and adapt to their titles. The idea of telefragging is not new, but making it a main mechanic was a bold move.
If I had to point one thing I was most happy about, it’s that maps are well-designed and I was surprised many times by an enemy walking to what I expected was a ceiling. Turns out you can teleport and switch orientation on some surfaces. Cool idea.

I’ve spent a couple of hours with this title so far and I can already tell it’s a solid game and fun experience, especially if your’e a fan of tournament shooters of old in the vein of Unreal Tournament or Quake. The VR component makes all the difference obviously and the creators learned their lessons from Detached when it comes to creation of huge VR enviroments. The movement and combat in Telefrag feels fast and rewarding even if a little bit chaotic at times. It takes some practice, especially if you’re new to the whole concept of VR games but it’s well worth the effort. Wiping out your opponent by “telefragging” is a very satisfying experience. Matchmaking sometimes takes a little bit too long but I guess it will change once people start flocking to the game. Overall a very nice game despite its little shortcomings. 8/10

Tanki Online
An unbalanced, Pay to win dying game.
This game has seen much better days. Back in the day there were no Tankoins, no containers of any sort and it was much better balanced. This has been the childhood game for a lot of people and seeing it now, comparing to what it used to be, is just sad. They introduced a lot of P2W features, such as previously mentioned Tankoins, skins, containers, etc. On the phone version of the game each time you open it you are blasted with “special offers” that cost a fuck ton of money for what they have in them, and you will get these notifications on your screen everytime you enter the main menu, whether it would be from your garage, or by leaving a battle. The new weapons suck, most of the new gamemodes are shit, and the overall quality of the game has gone down. The community mostly consists of toxic children that divide into 2 types, either P2W or trash mobile players.

This game is pay to win and here are some examples why.
-Premium membership, which gives 1.5x exp and 2x in game currency
-You can get weapons of the next modification if you use micro upgrades ages before you can directly buy it in game, which are very costly for the according rank and you can be dominating in battle.
-Supplies are absolutely overpowered (double damage, double armour) and once again these are very costly to use on a regular basis (practically impossible for a normal user to use them constantly even for high rank players its very hard to do that)

Element Battle Royale
the worst game i ever played. such a boring empty load of crap. Exactly the reason why KIDS shouldnt be allowed access to this sort of stuff what a waste of time. I tried to be friendly to the developer but he was being extremly rude, like i said KIDS

Element Battle Royale is small BR game from a single indie developer, but it was at least released on Steam, so I thought about giving it a shot. Unfortunately despite queuing on multiple occasions I couldn’t get into a game. I was a bit more optimistic to play Element since it only required 2 players to start a game (you can’t really require less than that), but even that proved too much of a challenge. I even convinced a friend, that we would both queue up, but the game refused to start a lobby anyway (maybe it is currently broken or servers shutdown?)

Last Year
EDIT 5 (+990h): $0.49 USD BUY IT NOW! 100% RECOMMENDED
EDIT 4 (+970h): Right now as I am writing this review there is a 90% discount. ONLY 2 DOLLARS. FOR THIS PRICE IT IS 100% RECOMMENDED TO BUY THIS GAME. There are more people playing and it’s a very good game! (30/10/2020)
EDIT 3 (+963h): Well, MUCH has happened since my last edit (I’m a LY Mod now!) and it’s just that right now the game isn’t getting updates because Elastic Games has run out of money. All the devs are gone and only the owners are left, which are looking for a publisher to continue developing the game and to release it in consoles. In Halloween we will have news if they have found it, apart from an update (not content) of the game. Right now, I do NOT recommend buying the game, maybe it goes Free to Play. (01/10/2020)

I’ve held off of leaving a review on this game for a while now because i just felt no need to leave a review if I’m being totally honest, but I’m here to leave to you what this game is and what i think about it.
i picked up this game and played through beta as well as nightmare almost everyday, if you bring in my numbers from beta and nightmare id say i would be close to 2000 hours in total or around. I know this game inside out and i know a lot of the problems.
the first thing i wanna clear up here is a lot of hate about the in store transactions, i just want to say, they had no intention of adding a store at all, it was the community that on dev streams constantly asked for ways to support the game and thus, the store was released.

Before you read the Do Not Recommend and walk on:
There are some in development features that look exciting to retouch on in a future iteration including:
Mech Legs. I love me some mech-i-pedes
Mega Bots. I love me some big bots.
New Maps. I love me some variety.
There was some other stuff shown on their kickstarter page but given how funding efforts went, it’s uncertain how much of the remaining content on said list has plans for active or down the line development.

Dota Underlords
It is with a heavy heart that I write this review, because at 217 hours of game-play at the time of writing, I have invested a lot of my time into this game. I’ve played since the first publicly available build, so feel I have enough experience to critique this and its development as time has gone on. And for anyone wondering I capped out at Lieutenant IV, hardly a rank to sniff at.
I enjoy this game, I really do, when the game goes right it hits that sweet spot so well and you come away with a shiny new rank knowing you were the best of the best in that game.

I wish I could recommend this game. I really wish I could. But I feel like Valve took an idea they didn’t create, and without properly knowing what was good about that idea took it in their own direction, which ended up ruining what I enjoyed about the game. I played entirely too much of this when it was in beta, and I enjoyed every minute of it, even when things weren’t entirely balanced. The polish Valve put on the game with the interface and coding was just miles above the competition. Perhaps its better now, but TFT wasn’t even a game when Riot released it. I feel Valve had a great head-start on the competition, but I feel they’re ruined it, and while I don’t have access to player numbers, I get the feeling those would back up my claim.
